Raman Reti is a spiritual spot located in Mathura district, the major attraction of this place is evening Aarti ( worship) done by haathi( elephants) , I feel it's a must watch scenario. The outer side has a beautiful sand area where you can meditate, play with your kids ( not litter though) or just spent an afternoon or evening with your friends and family. Even just walking in the sand is very much relaxing. There are small food spots outside the place where you can enjoy tea and snacks. Best time to visit : August to November Mid summer is really hot here and December and Jan is pretty cold. ** One can also visit this place alone to spend some quality time with oneself.** **Evenings are beautiful here**

One of the most relaxing and calming place. Here you will find old wooden houses which are made up of bamboos and grass. And still priests live there in that house they wear kharam(a type of wooden sleeper). There are deers and swans and ostrich.

A very peaceful and serene place in Gokul A must visit place if you are in Gokul or Mathura. They have kept animals in the area in front of the entrance of the ashram. You can feed them too. There is a Sarovar(pond) inside the ashram. It is said that the sand here is very pure and pious. People were literally rolling on the sand to get blessings. You may park your vehicle outside the ashram in the parking area. Be very careful while parking your vehicle. Your vehicle may get stuck due to digs beneath the sand. Parking guys are not supportive and are very rude. Also, they try to charge more if you are from outside the local area. You may ask ashram staff for any help or assistance.

Bankey Bihari ji played in this sand playground hence the popularity and importance of this place. It’s a very large area along with temples, Dharamshala, children playground and one large pond. Must visit if visiting Vrindavan. Key highlights: 1. Raman reti (childhood playground of Shri Krishna). 2. Zoo with several animals 3. Female elephant called Radha visits Raman Reti every day at 6 PM. 4. Huge parking area outside the complex (20rs for 4 hours) Note - It’s in Gokul, Mathura. ~33 kms from Vrindavan.

Wow magical place indeed. Krishan ji use to spend his child hood time in raman reti rolling down in sand with his friends. The place is well organised and well maintained to visit in. One can see park full of 🦌 dears. You can feed them also. They are very friendly to visitors. Must visit if you are visiting gokul.

Hiii...this place is very good and spiritual. Here many temples are present and they are very organized. This is outside of mathura and it is almost village. Here a small animal place containing deers and some birds is seen. You can go there by autu, car or any private vehicles. This is very well known for Lord krishna played with our goddess Maa Bharat mata and it is very sacred. Here mainly two parkings are there where you can park your vehicles.....Thank you🙂😊

This place is known as the birth and childhood place of lord Krishna, this pious place is believed to have been the sporting place of Laddu Gopal (baby Krishna) in Gokul. Reti means sand and thus in the sand of this sacred place is blessed by the lotus feet of baby Krishna. Thus this place is revered among the people of Braj. It is believed that at this place Lord Krishna during his childhood used to play with Lord Balram and his other gopa friends. So, due to its association with Krishna this land has been used by many saints for their meditation. A small shrine by the name of Rangbihari ji is located at this place which was established and worshipped by a pious saint Sri Gyandas Ji Maharaj who performed his severe austerities for the blessings of Lord Krishna while fasting at this sacred place of Raman reti. It is also believed that saint Gyandas founded this place of Ramanreti

The area has a very unique feature of powder soft sand surrounded buy small trees. This is a place where Krishna and Balram used to play. Just at short distance is a big pond where Krishna and his friends used to playfully bathe. Just across the entrance is a big enclosure housing deers and black bucks. People feed them through the gaps in the enclosure gates.

Going to Raman Reti can be among the best decision in your trip to Krishna nagri, dont forget to roll yourself in the sand. It also has a pond "kund" where you can spend time and take bath. The entire temple area is well maintained and a must visit place with family. You will definitely feel relaxed here. Radhekrishna 🙏

The place is great. It is very hard to believe that there is any connection between the playground of Krishna with this place. But still the calm atmosphere of this place is worth a visit. There is also a pet elephant and a nice temple, along with a place whose soil is considered heavenly.

Last time i visit raman reti gokul 🤗🤗 GOKUL Situated in Gokul, a few kilometers away from Mathura is this incredible place called Raman Van or Raman Reti―whose sacred sands (reti) are redolent with the stories of a bygone era when Lord Krishna frequented to engage in divine plays (raman) with his brother, Balarama and his cowherd friends. This is also the place he chose to meet his love, Radha before embarking on their journey to Vrindavan together. Raman Reti today is a sandy locale sprawled in a spacious compound complete with a deer sanctuary, a couple of beautiful temples and a relaxing area for ascetics, saints and pilgrims alike. Besides paying reverence, spend some time simply ambling around in the complex―try to bask in the pastimes of Lord Krishna treasured in the sands of Raman Reti.Adjacent to Raman Reti is Karshni Ashram, a famous Ashram housing the ancient Raman Bihariji Temple. Dedicated to the 18th century Saint Gyandasji, the temple houses the deity of Lord Krishna in the exact form as was revealed to the saint as a blessing for his strong austerities to please the Lord

a divine place, famous for its sand because lord Krishna played in the sand here during his childhood. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MAIN TEMPLE IS CLOSED IN THE AFTERNOON AND OPENS AT 3PM OR 4 PM DEPENDING WHETHER ITS WINTERS OR SUMMERS. so plan accordingly otherwise your visit could go in vain. There is lot to see in and outside the temple premises eg. deer, peacock ostrich, statues etc

This is around 2 km inside Gokul starting from new Nand gaon. As soon as you reach Raman Reti, you will be amazed by the deer park where they have deers and few birds in a big field. In front of it is the main Raman Reti attraction as in the temple and pond. They also provide prasadam(lunch) inside just before the pond. What i did not like about the prasadam distribution is unhygienic practice. If you want to eat prasadam, do use your own utensils. You can even take a dip in the holy pond and visit temple. Do note that in Mathura/Gokul most of the temples are closed during 11am(or 12pm) to 4pm. So do schedule your visit accordingly.
