😠 Heartless. Took my dog, whom I thought was about to die, to them. Literally had her in my arms with tears in my eyes. I saw an employee arrive at 7:55 and begged them for help. They turned me away because, and I quote, “we are slammed today.” There was no one else even in the parking lot at this tim... People often mention staff, time, SAVC, great, clinic,

The South Anderson Veterinary Clinic worked us in last minute to see our very sick dog while other vets were not open due to a big snow storm. They were kind and caring and Dr. Meaghan Francis listened to my concerns and asked great questions that helped get my pup wonderful care. Dr. Francis and staff called me to update me at the time they says they will. My dog, Lil Girl is staying the weekend on an IV, medicine and loving care. These dedicated people are a blessing.

They turned me away because, and I quote, “we are slammed today.” There was no one else even in the parking lot at this time. I couldn’t believe they wouldn’t even look at her. So 30 min later and when I feel time is of the essence, we are in fishers at vca. Horrible, heartless place.

We had to bring our sweet Bella in to be examined due to declining health. They were so supportive and caring during the whole process. They let me stay with her as long as i needed and made sure i was ok throughout the process.

Have a puppy and at his first shots we discussed getting him nurtured. Vet didn’t know if other vet was available because he was on vacation. She stated she would find out. Three weeks later we discussed it again and she stated the same thing I will ask and leave him a note. Three weeks later was told they would find out. And of course no note was left for other vet.I walked in lobby and receptionist stated it’s scheduled. I even was emailed the date we had picked. Vet comes out and moves it a week earlier. Said they can’t do it that week due to vacation. Also on second visit was told no fecal exam. Came in third visit and was going to get charged for one. This vet is all over the place . Took 6 weeks to find out if they can’t do a surgery due to a vacation. We had to get another week. We have to wait 6 weeks to find out and now we have to adjust our schedules again. They really need to get scheduling fixed. If it wasn’t due to it being so close to our house I would be highly motivated to look for alternatives in the future.

In 2018 this was a great vet, not sure how much turnover there has been but wow has it changed. Had 1 dog with cancer in 2019, seeked most of the treatments available, paid a considerable amount for testing, one day he was visibly ill for the first day and they wouldn't even talk about anything except euthanasia and we put him down. After the fact that experience left a really bad taste in our mouths. We took our other 2 dogs there still (mostly out of convenience) weren't overly happy with their treatment but nothing stood out. Fast forward to today, we have an appointment for 2pm. Upon setting up the appointment they must have messed up files or something because they continued to talk about him having previous episodes earlier that month (it had been over a year) which was concerning a bit especially when I responded that wasn't the case and got pushback. We waited outside in the car until 235 before I finally said I'm out. If you can't respect our time at all that's my final straw. They then called me at 2:39 saying we don't see you at your spot, "well we're going to look elsewhere for treatment, you guys struggle with respecting others time" "that's fine, click." Your experience may vary and I don't feel I'm a difficult person but I'm incredibly irritated at how this vet has handled things.

I really appreciate Dr Eddleman and staff, a bunch of fantastic and informed people... they came to our aid for Beau, and helping us get him well again... I recommend them to anyone who has a pet that is in need... Thank you fine people!

I appreciate the doctor’s detailed description of the diagnosis to a lay person (me). Also the staff is efficient and helpful during the Curbside process, especially in explaining the fees associated with the procedures, tests, and medication.

We have been customers for several years at SAVC and never had any complaints. After the recent experience with Dr. Meaghan Francis we will no longer bring out fur babies to your clinic. She has a very rude abrupt attitude and absolutely NO kind people skills. We left the clinic upset to the point of tears. Our fur babies are part of our family and they should be treated that way. If there is a situation that arises it should be addressed in a professional manner for all individuals involved. We have referred several friends and family members to your clinic over the years of our time being customers. I recently had another family member that moved here from Florida. They were planning to bring their fur baby to be seen at SAVC. After our recent experience they had decided to look elsewhere for another veterinary office. This family member has a blind dog that gets stressed very easily, and SAVC does not display a patient comfortable place for these type of pets. David A. Eddleman what happened to your moto strive for 5!! 🤣🤣

First time boarding my puppy and have a vet now. The only problem I have is that they said they would text me letting me know how Mia was and I didn't receive one. Besides that it's a pretty decent vet so far anyway.

The staff is wonderful. They are patient and understanding and flexible. I feel that my fur babies are safe when they are having a procedure done here. The staff is also very knowledgeable.

Seems like every veterinarian in this town cares more about money then anything else. Tried to find someone to bring my cat to to let her pass away with some dignity. They were trying to charge for an emergency visit on a Tuesday. Like why do you need to do an initial examination if you know you're going to be euthanizing an animal? Unconscionable

Everyone at the clinic was helpful, compassionate and responsive! In our time of need the entire staff went the extra mile to help us! I truly thought the end was near for my pet - but low and behold she has made a full recovery! Thank You SAVC from the bottom of my heart! ❤️

Had to get my little dog in right away. Most places have a two week out schedule. She needed an assessment on quality of life. Had to make a very hard decision. All the ones, that work with her, were caring and compassionate.

Very friendly, great with our animals, don't push or try to force treatments your not there to discuss with very reasonable prices. When you ask for a quote, it is very detailed leaving very little for surprise. Very happy with tye vets and techs.

South Anderson Veterinary Clinic is great. Our dog became ill and our normal vet clinic was short-staffed. Their sister Clinic is SAVC. I called, and they were able to see her as an emergency patient. She was eventually sent on to an emergency critical care clinic in Ft. Wayne, but the folks at SAVC were kind, attentive, and initially diagnosed what is going on with our pup. While we are still working through the diagnosis, we appreciate the great work the folks at SAVC are doing.

Both my loving, laid-back great pyrenees and my anxious-reactive lab/pit mix receive all their vet care here. They're reasonably priced and awesome with both of them!

We brought in a stray/feral cat for a health check up, to get vaccinated, and the end goal of getting him neutered. We were told you were scheduling surgeries in November, but after the attempting to weigh the cat and him being uncooperative, we were then told the doctor would do the surgery the next day. We greatly appreciate the doctor coming in on their day off to do the surgery as I did not know how I was going to coax the cat into a carrier again in two months for the surgery. Thank you for the accommodating us and working with us. We appreciate all of your efforts. We now have a healthy cat who will not contribute to the overpopulation of stray cats.

The entire staff are always helpful, professional, knowledgeable and caring. We unfortunately have had to make very tough decisions regarding our furry family members and they give honest and compassionate feedback and care. Thank you!
