Great food great service with heated out door dinning. Some of the best biscuits and gravy I have had in the world The fish and chips was so big I could barely finish it, lightly bread and cooked perfectly. One of the pizzas was on cauliflower crust and tasted amazing! We also had fried pickles which were amazing. Pros, our server was wonderful! Their $3 mimosas was a nice surprise. Drawbacks, super, super loud. Like I had to plug my ears. I don’t have issues with that normally. It was before 10am and the table next to us was very drunk and loud. I couldn’t hear the people at my table. No one addressed the issue. Food was just ok.

My wife ordered food for me as im medically down for now. worst fish n chips ive ever had. ordered extra tarter sauce, none delivered. while waiting for the order my wife was both hit on and when she didnt reciprocate, they mocked her for wearing a mask. ....this place serves garbage and serves garbage.

Alot of locals good food ok drinks. Was hoping for a senior discount, next year.

Not a repeat First time here. Services was good. Nachos were not. I could have dumped a bag of chips on a plate and drizzled a small amounts of queso and some olives and jalapeños on them at home and saved myself 15$. Chicken strips were definitely out of a box and awful. If a bar can’t get these 2 things right, I’m not willing to risk coming back and trying other items on the menu. To bad, new to Amboy and I guess Nick’s is it for bar food around here…..

My wife and I both love this place! Atmosphere: Sports bar with couple pool tables. It does get a little loud and rowdy later in the evening, but that just depends on your preference. We come for the food. Parking is tight. Price: Prices are fair! We love their happy hour menu and their pizza! Food: We haven't had any food or drink that was bad yet! I think the only thing we'd comment on would be the last time we were there, our pizza toppings were a bit skimpy, but the other times were loaded and super amazing! Service: We've had decent service here. Definitely get better service during the day, then at night. You can tell when the regulars and friends of the service staff are there, because there's a bit more of a social hour, but overall, I can't complain too much, because they're polite and we generally enjoy it. Overall: As mentioned above, we really enjoy this place. It's become a regular outing and craving for us to come here. If you're looking for an easy going, comfortable spot to hang and get some good food, this is it. :)

Had wings and pizza here and it was good food. Service was excellent. I will eat here again or grab a drink.

Went for the first time to meet co-workers. Taco Tuesday 🌮 I had the pork it was good. Had an Idaho Hazy beer on tap...excellent! Would go again!

Great breakfast! They were very accommodating to the large group of people we showed up with in the morning on a weekend. They even have a family area in case you have kids right next door. Food was fantastic and service good as well. The Bloody Mary is legendary! Recommended spot 👌

Went there after 9pm on a weeknight. Open until 12. Definitely local Dive bar feel! food, drinks, pool, sports on the tvs and a digital jukebox that people can control the music. Great place to end the night after partying, probably not the place I would start it.

Love the chicken wings. My son likes the tiny pizza. Will never order the alfredo again, my poor husband was dying for 2 days. Wings def yes Always wings

Do not eat the meals with chicken here! It is undercooked. I had food poisoning after eating their chicken tenders last night. I had vomiting, stomach cramps, dirrareha, nasuea, dehydration the next morning.

I had the Jalapeños burger and it was really good. All the food my party has was divine. It's a hot day and the windows are open so very drafty. But appreciated in this heat. Will return if in the area.

I'm not a bar kind of gal, quite honestly, though I do enjoy picking up food at different bar/grill places. I decided to give this restaurant a try for dinner and got quite overwhelmed by the loudness at night, but I'm sure it was fairly standard. But that's not the reason for my low rating. I ordered some pasta for takeout from this establishment while I was in downtown Vancouver hoping that the food will be ready by the time I got down to Battle Ground. However, I still had to wait around 20 minutes at the restaurant for my meal to be finished. It tasted okay once I got it, but it was rather thick on the sauce and I've had better. I do want to say that the bartenders were kind, though.

Two suggestions: This fine establishment does not need that extra for-parties/groups only room; instead use that space for two or three more pool tables. Second suggestion: This nice sports bar establishment has a dozen TV's. They seem to only play football. I asked if one of the TVs could be changed to another common, popular sport. They attempted to find a channel with this sport for me, but to no avail. I always assumed sports bars had a television package with literally any sport channel that existed. Unfortunately they must have a limited sports package, which is odd for a sports bar. However I will be back. Very attentive servers.

I have been here a few times, and it's a nice place to have a drink and a meal. Service is good and they have a great happy hour.

Nice place excellent service by Alicia & Taylor! Nasty nachos. Had to send them back & canceled. No cheese or guacamole or beans. Just ground beef, sour cream, Jalapeños & black olives. Yuck 🤮

My partner and I got into town late to spend Thanksgiving with my parents. Playmakers was one of the few places (the only place?) in BG with a decent food and drink menu at 9:30 PM. I was surprised by the excellent service, good drink menu including a number of local brews, and great food. I had the BLTA and my partner had a chicken cordon bleu sandwich - both were very good. I plan to come back to this place when I visit BG in the future and highly recommend it to others!

The weight staff never check on your table there. I have tried 4 times. Sometimes I sat at the bar, sometimes I sat at the table, and I'd have to walk to the bar to get food or drink. At the bar, I wouldn't need to get another drink or the tab. The food is good however. I tried to like it because it's close to my house, but I'm just not impressed with the service. 😞

Pool, beer, and music. The pool table is 50¢. It was a great spot for a beer with coworkers after work. It is pretty busy at meal times. Also the parking lot is tiny so if it's busy you'll have to get creative.

Picked up a late lunch for my husband- prices were a bit high, but food was delicious, specifically the pizza! It seems like a popular hang out! Bartender knew many patrons names and was great! Parking was pretty terrible, though.

Love that they have family karaoke. The Mac and cheese is so good and so are the garlic fries. You won't be disappointed. The bartender was extreamly friendly.
