We enjoyed our time at Saffron but feel the high prices are not justified. Food: Our favorite was the bang bang Cauliflower which was very tasty and has been recommended by other reviewers. In general we thought the appetizers were stronger than the main meals. We were not too impressed with the portion sizes of the mains (see attached picture of the main curry dish). Drinks: The cocktails here are definitely a highlight. Very tasty. Price: Saffron is a pricey restaurant. We don't believe that the prices are justifiable given the portion sizes. Further a 20% service charge is automatically added regardless of party size. This additional fee leaves you feeling robbed regardless of how good the food is. If you tip of top of this service charge you are looking at ~$200 for two courses and two drinks. This is outrageous! I have visited many up scale vegan/vegetarian restaurants and never paid so much. Location: Parking is available at this location but if you are a tourist then the location is not convenient. There is not much else surrounding the restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Saffron, the Vegetarian Eatery, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch. I cannot say enough good things about the staff - they were friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable experience. While the dishes I tried were not necessarily unique in nature, they were prepared with such care and attention to detail that they truly stood out. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced, and I appreciated the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The only downside, in my opinion, was the price point. While I understand that quality ingredients come at a cost, I felt that the portion sizes were a bit on the small side for the price. That being said, this is entirely subjective and may not be an issue for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend Saffron, the Vegetarian Eatery to anyone in search of great food and excellent service. The staff truly made the experience memorable, and I look forward to returning soon!

When: Saturday Evening 5:30pm We went to Saffron a Vegan Eatery with an open mind and ready for something new. I read the other Google reviews so I was a bit nervous, especially because there's a lot Hubby can't eat. Let me just start by stating that We are NOT Vegan. I just thought this place and food looked fabulous on Insta, so I had to come here. Plus, I love finding Off the Strip gems. When I say our minds were blown at how delicious and flavorful everything was, I mean it. Even my husband was shocked, lol. We thought we would leave hungry, but we came home stuffed and very happy! If you are curious about how Really Good, Professionally prepared Vegan food can be, this is the place to Start. Service, Ambiance(breathtaking), Drinks & Food all top notch. Seriously though, the cocktails & mocktails are delicious. We are looking forward to coming back with friends. And YES, it is worth every penny. My only two complaints are the location and the Bok Choy was quite salty but still delicious. They really deserve to be in a nicer part of town. Less soy sauce on the bok chocolate will do the trick.

This restaurant is fantastic! The Food is absolutely amazing! It can be hard to find delicious vegetarian restaurants but this place hits the mark. The Decor is absolutely stunning as well!! Our Waiter Scott was one of the most pleasant waiters I have ever dealt with makes sure we always had everything, but also not overbearing. They treated us with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary! This place is truly amazing please give it a try you won't be disappointed!

Great food. Beautiful ambience! Tasty food. Prices are steep. Spent $150 for 2 people for a starter(stuffed squash blossoms), main entree(spicy street noodles), a side of saffron rice, 1 cocktail, 1 beer, and 2 unsweetened teas that are NOT free refills($5 each) and the glasses are small which was a bummer because I love me some unsweetened tea. Overall, enjoyable experience but definitely not a weekly dining option with the price point.

This was a great find on our trip to Las Vegas. Don't be fooled by the exterior of the building or neighborhood, this is a great experience. The decor is well designed and provides a unique experience with the comfortable lounge style seating and Asian themes. The food was excellent. I tend to find that in vegetarian fine dining there is a tendency to attempt vegetarian imitations of non-vegetarian food, and thought that would be the experience here. However, despite the non-vegetarian names (i.e. crab cakes), the food was more authentically vegetarian or vegan in flavors. I could taste the flavors of each ingredient used and nothing felt too "meaty." Rather it felt fresh and veggie and delicious. The service was slightly inattentive, but it was no big deal as the experience is meant to be laid back and each employee we interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a wonderful dinner and we will be back, should we return to Vegas.

It was a delightful experience! Always so grateful to find an all vegetarian/vegan experience - especially fine dining! The inside is beautiful! We had the spicy Bo Chay Cay Noodles, Lobster Mango Roll, Vegan Foie Grais with sides of Jasmine rice and three glasses of the Gazela Vinho Verde. The Lobster Mango Roll was packed with flavor. I didn’t get to try the spicy noodles but the foie grais had an interesting taste. Very buttery/fatty making it super chewy. Nonetheless, it was delicious and definitely a new taste for me (never had regular foie grais). Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is that it’s pretty pricey for the portions. That’s a given for a fine dining establishment but still, I was hoping it would be out an of this world food experience for the price. The bill was close to $250. We enjoyed our experience though. :)

Inside the restaurant is amazing and beautiful. Kind of in a sketchy part of town when outside. Don't let that dissuade you. The best Asian Vegetarian restaurant I have eaten at. The dumplings were #1. Fried rice was amazing. I can't say enough about this place. Definitely place to try if you are vegetarian and in Vegas!

This place is simply wonderful! Fully vegan food and bar. Our server Paul was AMAZING, she knew the menu front and back, she gave great recommendations. The eggplant and tofu was delicious and the floating gyoza is a must-have. They can adjust the spiciness to your palate. I absolutely loved the early grey latte cake - such a complex flavor profile. We can’t wait to come back again.

This restaurant was the highlight of our trip. It’s worth stopping by for the decor alone. Every wall is a different texture and the sculpture in the middle is mesmerizing. And then there’s the food which is incredible. Admittedly I’m a vegetarian but my non-vegetarian foodie husband agreed it was the best food we had in Vegas. You’re definitely missing out if you don’t stop by here at some point.

2 stars only because their music kept skipping and skipping repeatedly the entire hour we were there. A song will pause, pause, pause, then just stop playing so they skip to the next song it’ll play good for a little then do the skips again. I would have gave it no mind if they just turn the music off all together after the 3rd or 4th failed song, …. But for an entire hour??? The Food though was absolutely amazing!!Thank you chefs! Service was good; could of been better if they took notice to everyone constantly looking around due to the music. They had to of seen because it repeatedly happened just didn’t care at all to do anything about it.

Saffron is something to see. Very nicely designed inside, one of the nicest places in vegas and China town area. There is upstairs area for private event with view of strip. Food was really good, was taken back as didn’t even realize when eating it was vegetarian. The spices were great, cocktails and drinks were nice. I would recommend for a date, group setting, or trying something new. Happy to have a place to take our vegetarian friends when they come to town.

Incredible fine dining vegetarian spot in town tucked away right off the strip! Service was phenomenal, they've got this new dish coming out called the spicy "beef" noodles which was the highlight of our dinner, but everything we tried blew my socks off!

Awesome Vegan spot. Very great food and atmosphere in all honesty. Loved the cauliflower fish and the dumplings. The only complaint here was that the had limited staff to take the order. It took way too long to order but food was brought out quickly. Maybe more staff to speed up the process.

Absolutely loved it. Superb date spot and the price-point is excellent for the quality you get. We were the first to arrive so our experience walking in felt pure and unfiltered, we were in awe! I felt like I had travelled to a wonderful place. The food exceeded our expectations (the pumpkin coconut soup blew my mind), and the cocktails are creative. I don’t usually order dessert but I could not pass it up this time because every dish is an experience. The interior is incredibly chic with a laid-back ambience supported by a great sound system and choice of music. We ordered more than we could eat because we couldn’t get enough of the amazing flavors. We wanted to try it all, so much that we will be coming back regularly for more. Bravo, Chef Nguyen and thank you for bringing your restaurant to us!

TLDR: Absolutely recommend!! This place is amazing. Very understated from the outside but the inside is beautiful with a great playlist for background music. The service was top-notch. Drinks were excellent. The food was so incredibly delicious! Everything was wonderful. The bang bang cauliflower was superb! I’d eat that everyday. I’m so glad we came here and we would definitely recommend. We went early evening and dress code was not an issue nor was it busy.

Don't snooze on this AMAZING dinner very worth the short trip off the Las Vegas strip. The dining room is incredibly hip and comfortable, the menu is simple but so unique and the portions are generous. The staff is very dedicated to making sure you have a great experience!

The entrance to this restaurant could be spruced up, we arrived just before opening and for a few minutes we thought we were in the wrong place or that they had permanently closed because it’s surrounding area seems so sad and desolate. It was also dirty outside with wet clothing strewn around in close proximity to the entrance. When the doors were unlocked, the hostess didn’t actually bother opening the doors to greet the small group of us that were waiting outside in the rain which isn’t very polite, nor welcoming. The waiter was a bit of an oddball, borderline awkward, so it made things a little weird when we were trying to ask him questions about some of the cocktails and appetizers. Aside from lack of warm, inviting hospitality, the appetizers were absolutely wonderful! We ordered the Floating Gyoza and Mushroom Bao dishes, and they were extremely flavorful and very well executed. As for the entreés, we weren’t particularly blown away. We ordered the Mushroom Royale and it was nothing like the menu description - a total fail. They were gracious enough to remove that item from the bill which we appreciated, but I don’t think we will be coming back just for appetizers as it’s pretty expensive for vegetarian food.

I’m giving it 5 stars because I can’t give it 10. Wasn’t sure what to except… and boy did it exceed what I could have imagined. The restaurant was beautiful…and that’s obvious when you walk in. It just kept getting better. The food was amazing. From the Bang Bang Cauliflower (the best I’ve ever had) to the Squash blossoms…yes, actual blossoms. Still tasting how delicious those were. The rest of the food was amazing… and the saffron rice, so delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and to top it all off the service was fantastic. Even if you aren’t vegetarian or vegan this is a definite must try dining experience! Definitely will be back when in Vegas.

The decor and the ambience was pleasant! Definitely would be a nice place for a date night. The music was soft and the middle of the restaurant has a beautiful, soothing water feature. The service seemed a bit slow to me considering that there were only 4 more tables in the whole restaurant, but I did come towards the end of the night so I appreciate how accommodating they were. In MY opinion the food was just okay. I think the presentation was great but I just wasn’t impressed with my dishes. Granted I did not choose the popular entre. The floating gyoza were good, kinda wish that the savory sauce was thicker. I love mushrooms so I chose the mushroom royale, it just wasn’t what I was expecting. It was mostly like a bisque with a few mushrooms on top and it came out quite salty. The saffron fried rice was okay too, I think it needed to be more flavorful in whatever seasonings they add, not just salt. Finally I finished with the chocolate cake which was a large portion so that was nice, definitely enough to share. The flavor was good but the cake was dry. Based on my first experience, I think the food was overpriced in comparison with other local vegan restaurants that serve more flavorful food. Also, there is an automatic 18% gratuity charged to the bill, that from which I understood, only goes to the house. You would have to tip extra for the server. After a 100+ dollar bill for ONE person, I wasn’t going to add another 12%-15% to my bill. In the future I do want to return to try other various menu items because I still see potential and I want to support a business that advocates for plant based foods. All these comments are MY opinion and mine alone, I still encourage others to try the restaurant because it could simply be a better fit for them than what it was for me.

Spectacular! Best food I have had in forever. I live in LA and can't find food this good. Vega, veg, or not, the menu is interesting and with great flavors and unbelievable execution. The pictures are of the empress cocktail, the bao, beets and street noodles. Side note, they all pair together well, showing the variety of techniques, ingredients, and flavors they have

Delicious food, beautiful space, and fantastic service! We had the floating gyoza, red curry, and the earl grey latte cake. For cocktails we had a tamarind drink and a watermelon sangria. All were awesome.

Last night we went to Saffron. We got there when they first opened and it was nice getting to see the space without the noise of too many people. And wow, I can see why this vegan restaurant has established itself as one of the top dining destinations in the city, attracting foodies and health-conscious diners alike. The menu is creative, innovative, and full of flavor, I had the Bang bang cauliflower and jasmine rice, and it was simply delicious . This restaurant specializes in vegan cuisine, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients to create dishes that are both healthy and delicious. In addition to the food, the decor at Saffron Vegan Restaurant is simply stunning. The interior design features a beautiful blend of modern and traditional elements, with a focus on natural materials and textures. The result is a warm and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. The service is also top-notch. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that your dining experience is a memorable one. And let’s not forget about the cocktails! They have an impressive selection of craft cocktails that are expertly mixed and beautifully presented. Whether you prefer something sweet and fruity or bold and spicy, there’s a cocktail on the menu that’s sure to please. Overall, Saffron is a wonderful dining destination that combines delicious food, beautiful decor, great service, and fantastic cocktails. Whether you’re a vegan or just looking for a healthy and flavorful meal, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Saffron & Chef Marco have upped the level for vegetarian/vegan dining. Elegant and intimate atmosphere in combination with Chef’s flavor packed and beautifully presented dishes puts this place on top of the fine dining market. Bite for bite we were extremely impressed with each dish (shout out the tar-tar). The affordability for such a classy experience also left us feeling so happy to have found a new “go to” spot for us.

Had our 10 year anniversary dinner here. So happy to have a delicious and sophisticated plant based restaurant that’s not in a resort. We were surprised with chocolate cheesecake compliments of the restaurant as a celebratory gift. Thank you for giving vegans an amazing option for dining!!

Based on a recommendation from friends, my wife and I decided to dine at Saffron in celebration of our 12th anniversary. We're so glad we did too, because it was an outstanding dining experience filled with new flavor profiles, excellent service, and an ambiance that left us planning our return. For cocktails, my wife enjoyed the Lotus Blossom Martini, while I loved every bit of my Tamarind Whiskey Sour. We started the meal by sharing the Pumpkin Coconut soup. The velvety texture and complex flavors of coconut and pumpkin were amazing. Next we shared Beet Carpaccio and Black Garlic Dumplings. Both were very good but those dumplings served in lemongrass consommé was a highlight of the night. As an entrée, we ordered the Bo Chay Cay Noodles and the Charred Cabbage and Fennel salad to share. The noodles are listed as their spiciest dish so we ask for medium spice just in case. It was probably my favorite thing of the night, and strangely, it really reminded me of pappardelle noodles with Bolognese sauce. It was still quite spicy but the flavors were so complex and well balanced that it didn't matter. For dessert, my wife had Key Lime cake, while I had the Raspberry Lemon Drop cake. Both were delicious, but I'm not a fan of dried coconut so I couldn't really get down with the Key Lime cake. Our server was excellent and really helped shape the experience. She was attentive the whole time without being overbearing. As soon as we sat down she greeted us and said she had heard we were celebrating an anniversary. She then asked if we liked champagne. A moment later we were each enjoying a glass of champagne garnished with a fresh raspberry. By the time we left we were already thinking of who we would like to come back with. If you're looking for elevated vegetarian and vegan food in a fine dining atmosphere, you must experience Saffron, The Vegetarian Eatery.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had. I brought my non-vegetarian family and it was their favorite restaurant on our whole trip! Couldn’t have asked for anything better everyone was very friendly, beautiful dining space, comfortable seating and food made perfectly.

Food was absolutely delicious. Presentation of the food and overall service was great. Our waitress was attentive and added to our experience. Atmosphere and decorations could improve. Restaurant itself was somewhat cold.

My husband and I visited for the first time as an anniversary celebration. The ambiance is beautiful and the service is prompt and professional. We took our time and ordered a 4 course meal. Every course was both beautiful and delicious. Most items were on the delicate side but we did not leave feeling hungry. The high lights of our meal were the spicy noodles entree and the pumpkin coconut soup. Pictured is the beet carpaccio and mushroom dumplings in consomme as well as the key lime and raspberry desserts.

Wonderful experience for my first vegetarian dinner. From the reservation (which you need) to the food, service and drinks, everything is perfection. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is a calm zen feeling. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. Most of the dishes are spicy but well prepared and flavorful. Call well in advance.
