I don't want to spoil too much but, just know there's a gigantic room with the map of the whole city, and a dozen of dedicated rooms with artefacts, objects, paintings and information about each period of Ghent's History. Everything is very well kept, and the museum itself is in a very nice, clean, historical building. The personnel at the entrance will give you any additional information you'd need with a bright smile and enthusiasm. An amazing experience for exactly 2,5€ as a student. An incredible bargain, and an absolute must if you're visiting the town.
