They feed their fish... Don't waste your time or money here! My family and I have been here several times in the past few years and enjoyed it. This past Saturday evening we decided to visit. We paid our fishing fee and found a spot. A while later the older woman, who I believe is the wife of the former owner who passed away, came around and said "oh don't be offended if someone who is in the tournament says that they want your spot. Those who are in the tournament have pick of the docks." Well the tournament is $50 to enter plus you still have to pay the regular $12 fee. First of all, I'm not paying $62 per person for catch and release! Secondly, they haven't stocked the pond in ages so even if you do enter the tournament you have a very small chance of catching a fish. When the old man was alive he would never have done this. I won't be back and I'm letting everyone know what it's like!

I went on a Thursday. 10am to 10:00pm I think was the time. $15 bucks each for adults. $7 for 4 year old. Was able to fish any where we wanted accept one reserved shead. They have lights at night. A lighted bathroom with hot and cold water. A fan. Sinks and trash cans all around the pond. Port a potty on other side. Flat all the way around. Neatly mowed and kept. Sheds and chairs all around to fish at. If you take your fish home you pay i think he said by the pound. We signed in on arriving and paid. We cought and realised 14 fish that day all the same kind and size. We saw one catfish. He was swiming along the bank under the sheds. If we had a net we could have easily picked him up. In the patking lot there is one space labeled not to park you can park any where else. Bring sun screen it is very hot. We were able to keep moving to shade. But we were the only ones there till the evening. Bring food and drinks water. They did have a couple grills at the first 2 sheds. Not sure if you had to pay to use them. I dont know if they had bate to sale or poles to rent. I brought my own so did not ask.

Had a great time had to give it 5 ๐ŸŒŸ because the simple fact I went there so my 6 year old son could ๐Ÿˆ fish and within a hour or so he caught a 18.1 pounder off a little kitty pole people couldn't believe it the fish was bigger than the pole. And I caught 2 decent size one's also. And a guy right beside me caught a 27.2 pounder and another about 20 right after.all within about a hour. And the lady who owns it is nice just be careful handling the fish she likes if you only use a net.she Love's her fish ๐ŸŸ

Drove over half an hour to get there, their website and the Google listing says theyโ€™re open until 10pm, pulled up and someone who I guess works here said they close down at 6. They should really change that, and save loss of future customers.

Crab Creek Catfish Pond is a great place to take your kids to get them hooked on fishing all the while a great time yourself. The price is reasonable at just $12 a person + $3 net rental. Just don't plan on going Mondays or Tuesdays. On the weekends if you stay late you may be able to take part in a pay tournament and win cash prizes. Ki

My son loved the place. He caught a large catfish! It was beautiful, but the place needs work. They had very old worn indoor couches and chairs along with some outdoor furniture. I was afraid to sit on them. They could have been infested with bugs. I sat on a park bench that I thought was clean, and I got something brown and sticky all over my shorts. There was a black trash bag with something that was obviously dead in it. The place needs to cleaned. It needs work.

We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Crab Creek Catfish Pondโฃ๏ธ We had our sons 6th birthday here and we all had a wonderful time! The pond is gorgeous and the little docks are perfect for fishing off of. Jesse the owner was more than accommodating and made sure that we all had a memorable experience. The older gentleman at the front check-in was also very kind. We will definitely be back!!

Kids had a great time but the employee refused to let my 80 year old mother-in-law use the restroom while she waited on the younger family members in our group. Come on people, we paid for four tickets and you're not going to let an elderly member of our group use the restroom because, "she doesn't have a sticker?!?!?!" Luckily, the folks in the cafe next door were more reasonable and compassionate. I highly recommend the cafe next door...

There are 2 sections in this establishment and the kids had a ball in both. There were arts crafts and many other things for the kids to do. They want to go back soon and my wife enjoyed it as well. Good way to spend the day with the family.

Mean person in the lobby. The LEGO is dirty and incomplete. The sharpie is old and useless. Money making place!

Unfortunately, a rather bad situation for visitors to Hendersonville. We visited three days ago and will NEVER return. Details: 1) Was very expensive! For a couple of kids below 6, 2 grandparents and one parent (5 total): $42+change. Thatโ€™s rather steep for 1.5 hours of time, considering kids run out of things to do in there. (Maybe ok for locals with annual memberships and regular use.... but as one time visitors, bad deal!) 2) While our 2 yr old kept finding things to be interested in, our 6 yr old was bored rather quickly, about 40 minutes in. Seems to be geared towards 2โ€“5 yr olds, which is not clear as you enter. 3) Son scratched himself at center crawling through something, got a bad rash the next day. Doctors diagnosis: Hand Foot Mouth disease. Since we were at a super-clean vacation home prior and after, it is highly probable the virus was contracted there. So for us, this is a NEVER AGAIN type of deal.

Great place for kids and families with lots of hands on activities including painting, climbing and sliding, a store to "shop", bubble maker and lots more.

Really fun place for toddlers and Kindergarten-aged kids. Somewhat boring for my 2nd and 4th graders - my mistake for not researching. Great place to easily spend 3- 4 hours!

Catfish are big, they can be slow and not bite but they are here. Just got to wait on them. The place is nice but can be downright messy. It is nice that they have couches and chairs to sit on while waiting on the fish, with canopies and shade. Never have to bring your own seats like other places I know of. P.S. THIS PLACE CAN BE HARD TO FIND. Other than a sign that has a picture of a catfish, you wouldn't know it's here. At least I didn't. I couldn't find it the first time I came and I was using a GPS! All in all, good luck to you!

Great little place to spend a few hours with the little ones. Our 2 yr old had a blast moving from activity to activity. Most things are geared towards slightly older children, but still plenty to keep the little guy entertained. Staff was all very helpful and kind. Cute area to hist parties available as well.

Great place for patents and children to interact or older _1-3rd graders more independent.

  • 5/5 Sean B. 5 years ago on Google
Great place for small kids to play and parents can take a quick break. Highly recommended since it provides more than 2 hours of entertainment for 3 kids. It is much better than taking your kids to a movie. Usually the kids stay for at least 2 hours and I have to drag them out.

Not a good place for germaphobics, more for older elementary kids.... not enough to hold the attesting of younger children. Feel that pricing is kind of high for the quality of items they have to play with. Would be better if they had items more catered for the area. Very crowded area.

My son enjoyed this museum a lot! Theyโ€™ve found the magic! Itโ€™s not a fancy place, but itโ€™s an engaging environment. Definitely worth a visit.

I was so looking forward to taking my grandchild to this "museum" because so many people had raved about it and it is a non profit supported by local businesses. Unfortunately our experience was less than desirable. There were only 2 staff members who worked the desk and no others available to keep this play areas manageable. For example, there is a nursery with baby dolls, cribs, changing table etc. but there were no babies in the room. The area where the lego cars could be assembled only had parts and no complete cars available. The market area had nothing on the shelves, there were items strewn all over the floor and in other areas. The arts and crafts area had only a few supplies left and the bathroom smelled so bad we couldn't use it. I know this was a busy day, the end of holiday season, but that should be no excuse for how bad the facility was. I will also remark that in general the hygiene of the area was less than desirable.

Took my almost 4 year old this weekend and she had a blast! We spent 4 hours here and she didn't want to leave. There are so many fun and interactive exhibits for her to play with. It's a great spot for this age group.

My two-year-old loved it here! The museum was very well maintained and the price for admission was fair. Great for a rainy day.

We are from out of town and visited during our little outting. Perfect for my 9-year-old and infant! The lego car racing is genius, and I was able to block my infant in on the floor so she could crawl around safely. It made our happy visit even better.

We reserved tickets in advance and the kids were so excited for this. Unfortunately their policies are not currently inclusive and we were turned away at the door because my severely delayed & autistic, just turned 3 year old, canโ€™t wear a mask. Even when covid restrictions lift, we will not be patronizing this business again and will advise anyone else not to give business to this discriminatory venue.

As long as they keep the blue blocks I am very satisfied and Kellie spinks is by far the most amazing worker ever in the facility. The Gabes are pretty great to!

My son loves it here, the staff is friendly as well. Lots of places to sit and for the kids to do. It's worth the $5 all day play. You can come and go without having to repay to come back.

Fun place for the kids, while you relax. Only down fall is that you have to pay for adults, which is silly - because there really isn't anything for adults to do.
