Great place to have fun with the family and friends, the place is nice and clean, lot of snack options and beer. Come and show your skills one handed or two handed. The owners are very welcoming and kind. Great atmosphere!

What a great place! First time throwing and I had a blast. This place is very clean and inviting. Nice bar area, good music, corn hole on the patio, what more could you ask for? Katie and Daniel were great emoyees, they went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. Next time we come to the area we will definitely come back.

Can’t say enough good things about this venue. This was my first time ace throwing with nine other friends. Plenty of parking. The staff was great. Everything feels safe and it’s a great atmosphere to learn or be competitive. Great hangout space afterwards and nice selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and snacks.

Great place to get together and hang out. Super chill and laid back definitely recommend it to anyone. Thought they would of been super strict but it was great fun.

Great venue. We went at open on a Saturday and we had the place to ourselves for over an hour. After throwing we went out to the patio and threw some corn hole while we finished our drinks. I prefer cider over beer and they had many options for ciders. Bartenders and axe throwing coaches were awesome! Will definitely be returning when we want something fun to do.

Great place to take your teens. I took my 15 year old with his friends and they had a blast. The owners could not have been friendlier and the staff was great.Cool place to hang out and have a drink and you can order food there as well. We will be back.

Great experience at Timber Axe Throwing in Hendersonville. We loved the atmosphere. Employees were great at explaining everything to us, making sure we were having fun, and keeping our beers full! The interior of the building is amazing. It really feels unique and makes you feel like you are in a woodsy cabin! We loved the selection of beer. Axes and corn hole gave the whole group something to have fun at. Everything was clean and I felt like we were able to socially distance well from other parties. We also loved the photo area and the props! It made for a great way to end the day!

The place and the staff were awesome! A girlfriend and I went on a day date and happened to see a billboard that peaked our interest. We loved the whole decor and vibe of the place. My friend hit the target very first try after our instruction from Daniel! I wish I had gotten the name of the other young lady working there cause she was equally great! We WILL be back and can’t wait until our next trip! We WILL master the little axe 😂 I even have asked my co-workers to go for a team building experience and everyone is on board 😁

We had so much fun here back in July '2020 with friends visiting. They really helped us with our aim and made for a great afternoon.

A group of three of us went for a birthday party, and had a great time! More fun than I was expecting. Lanes were good, staff was helpful, and there is a good selection of beer and wine. Definitely would recommend!

Celebrated my friend’s birthday at Timber Axe Throwing and we had an absolute blast! This was my first time ever axe throwing and we all just had so much fun! The layout is very safe and I was comfortable learning how to throw both size axes. The facility itself has a great vibe and the staff is very friendly and informative! The bar area was the perfect place to hang out afterwards and enjoy a drink before heading to dinner. They also have a spacious patio area that is perfect for larger events. I would highly recommend Timber Axe throwing if you are looking for a fun date night or for celebrating a special occasion.

Super fun place. They did an amazing job with the building and it's really cool inside. We went on Halloween and had a blast. Everyone was really nice and professional. They have a cool outdoor area too. It's a fun place to hang out even if you're not throwing axes!

I can highly recommend Timber Ax Throwing. Jeff and Hope have created a unique fun local place to go with family or friends. When you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff, who are so helpful, excellent customer service. Never threw an ax before, no worry no experience is required. They have free coaches on site to teach you everything you need to know. Check out their local beer, wine and ciders. I have lived in the area, for over 20 years. So happy to have Timber Ax Throwing in town. Give them a try, you will not be sorry.

Our hour session was the perfect addition to our girls day! The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. The log cabin/buffalo plaid decor added extra details that we loved. We will definitely be back!

Then when you are done throwing you can still stay and hang out on their awesome covered patio and play pool and other games. Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that works for date night, girls/boys night, parties, corporate events...literally everything. Go now.

Bro’s, easily one of the best places in Hendersonville where else can you throw heavy sharp things into a wall with there’s a bar behind you? Timber, that’s where and you should definitely go. slam one, two, ten beers for me then slam some hatchets into a wall to your hearts desire.

So much fun! Spent 1.5 hours throwing axes. They do a great job teaching you the basics before starting your timer. Safety is clearly important with lots of things in place (ex not directly handing off the axe) to make sure everyone leaves with all their fingers. Laid back atmosphere with the ability to be as competitive as you want. Large lobby area and outside seating area to use if there is any wait. The have a good selection of soda and beer. They only sell snacks. Clean bathrooms. Will likely go back when I am back in the area.

You walk up to the front and decide your length of time, 1-hour or 1.5 hours. Whether you're playing or an observer, you will have to sign a waiver. Next, an AMAZING staff member will teach you how to throw an axe. It's your turn! Channel your inner Paul Bunyan and get to throwing! Is your group looking for fun games? Ask the staff about different games you can play with the axes including, HORSE (TIMBER), Green Red Green, 21,  and many more!! Hungry? There are snacks for purchase and water , soda , ciders , wine , and local beer options. Is your arm sore? Outside you can take a break and play connect four or corn hole. We recommend making reservations, especially on the weekends. FIVE STAR RECOMMENDATION!

I went about two months ago around 6 PM and there were only a few other people there. I had a good experience, it was a little tricky at first but I figured it out eventually. The staff was friendly and helpful with tips/tricks on how to throw it. You could buy alcoholic beverages and there were outdoor games like corn hole as well. It was an enjoyable experience.

My daughter and I went for a belated father's day outing. Turns out I have viking blood lol. Staff was very helpful. We had a blast

Really interesting and entertaining local business. Great place for family and friends, it's an unique indoor experience for anyone 13 & up. This establishment does not allow anyone under the age of 13 to enter. There is beer, wine, cider, and axe throwing. Sometimes the venue will also host live/local music. A cool place to have a good time, and leave with an axe throwing story. Bring friends and/or family to compete against each other for bragging rights. There is plenty of parking. I highly recommend this local business!

A great place to have some fun with family and friends

Its ok, I guess... they wouldn't let me throw axes with my wife in front of the target even though she said she trusted me. Also, they don't have a BYOA night, which bummed me out when I had already carried a full-size double-bladed axe from the car and had to put it back. Not sure if Viking Night will ever be allowed again either. It was a fun night up until Fred got carried away with the raiding and pillaging. They also wouldn't let our toddler in even though we said he could prove himself (he can throw a full sippy cup pretty far!). They kept citing "insurance reasons." Great staff and we had a great time if you're into employees keeping you and other patrons safe and educated so everyone can have fun.

For a few of us it was our second time here, and we had just as much fun as the first time. It’s a great group activity to do. The facility/atmosphere is really nice. Thanks, we’ll be back next time we’re in town

So much fun! I was very surprised to enjoy this activity I booked for my husbands birthday considering its axe throwing and I’m scared of everything. Hope made it seem super easy and very safe, which it was after she flawlessly demonstrated. I love that it’s fun, easier than you think, and family owned and operated. You can tell this family put a lot of love into their business and take care of their customers. We would drive an hour plus again just to come here. Highly recommend for all ability levels

A really nice facility ... and not just for axe throwing. Great games on the patio as well. Good beer list for refreshing. Attentive staff who made sure that if this was your first time you would have fun but if you were someone who has thrown before they just made sure you knew how to be safe in their facility. Our first trip tonight!! Not sure why wr waited so long to come try this out. We had a blast on a date night. We will be back for sure. As first time guest the staff was so friendly and helpful. They even have a great space to chill and a great beer selection.

We had the best time at Timber Axe Throwing. It was super fun, well organized. The staff were super helpful as we only had one in our group of 6 that had ever done this. We felt that they were following Covid-19 safety measures extremely well. If we lived closer we would definitely be going back on a regular basis.

We had so much fun! Timber has been on our list of local places to visit for a while now, and I can honestly say that it was worth it! The staff was very friendly and professional, willing to give you pointers if you're having any trouble. Yailin was amazing! As far as safety concerns with Covid-19, there are none that I noticed. I witnessed the "Axepert" staff cleaning axe handles, thoroughly wiping down surfaces, and everyone was wearing a mask. We look forward to our next date night when we can return!

My family and I had SO much fun axe throwing last night. None of us had ever been to a place like this before, but we all are pretty certain there is no cooler place than Timber Axe Throwing. It has the coolest atmosphere and so many fun details inside. The employees were so nice and extremely helpful when my sister and I needed some axe throwing tips! Loved Timber Axe Throwing so much and can’t wait to go back!
