You can see quite a lot of it for free but I definitely recommend buying the combined ticket with the Museo di Santa Giulia! It also includes a guided tour underground and a multimedia exhibition.

Was closed the day we visited on Monday. Big pity. But still in awe of this. An UNESCO world heritage site. The Capitolium of Brixia or the Temple of the Capitoline Triad in Brescia was the main temple in the center of the Roman town of Brixia (Brescia). It is represented at present by fragmentary ruins, but is part of an archeological site, including a Roman amphitheatre and museum in central Brescia.

It's worth to enter and I don't like museum normally :) But inside... You feel the story. You feel special... You feel different...

Beautifully partial restored temple dating from the Roman period 1st century BC. Free to walk around the temple and coliseum, definitely recommend. Not often you can visit such places for free. UNESCO sight. Dogs allowed.

Brescia! Who knew that you would have such an important museum that still haunts my memories. These gods are not being worshipped anymore but that ancient belief is still felt by what is left, the technical precision of these beautiful masterpieces.

Simply amazing! Ruins that pre-date the Romans and Christ that offers wonderful look into the deep historical and cultural past of this area. Located in old town Brescia, Italy you will be in awe as you tour the excavated and preserved ruins as well as stroll thru the sites.

Extremely interesting and the multi media displays are worth a watch. Although you can see much of the site from outside, it is worth paying the entrance fee.

Beautiful and amazing place. Small area but enough to indulge yourself back to old times. Free to walk around but strongly recommend museum ticket to see inside and the next museum together. Like other ruins, recommend visit there around sunset.(i.e. go to museum first and come out to this place for final pictures)

I like the place, you have possibility to touch the time machine. The modern art creator has good sense of humour :)

We arrived at opening time having booked tickets online for the first time slot. We enquired about where the tour started and was told a general direction. There needs to be a sandwich type board saying queue here for the tour. We found the tour to be ok… it was really just an underground and inside section where your given an amount of time.. there is no input from the ‘guide’. We had the card for this and other attractions otherwise I’d say it’s prob not worth the money.. you can walk the grounds for free anyway.

That was an unexpected archeological site in the heart of Brescia city centre: an ancient Roman temple. Those Romans...! Easy to view and admire when passing by it but it worths it a full visit including the inner and underground environments where to discover almost intact suggestive frescoed walls.
