Lovely traditional fish and chip shop. Had haddock, chips and mushy peas, the fish was cooked really well and some of the nicest mushy peas I've had from a takeaway. Recommended.

Generally think it’s hit or miss but the times it’s spot on it really is lovely. Affordable and fresh.

We had a fish and chips last night because the valley was closed so we went to Maggie's kitchen holywell the fish was disgusting because there was no fish in the batter be aware don't get fish I will never go there again water thin fish

I've just thoroughly enjoyed the best chicken curry and chips I've had for years ... my other half had fish ( haddock ) he's usually very fussy but cleaned his plate no problem. Well done for such brilliant service and outstanding food .

Called in at 4.30 pm on a weds, everything was fresh, the chips were just finishing when we ordered! All the ladies behind the counter work friendly and efficiently. The portions are generous, and prices are reasonable, we paid £16 for small chips with bitesize fish, haddock and chips, steak pie and chips, a jumbo sausage, a large pot of gravy and a small pot of spicy curry sauce!

We called at 7.30 as driving through and had read the great reviews on Google . We were both hungry but as we walked in the staff were very unfriendly and looked put out we were there. We were told there was only chips as closing soon...they didn't close until 8.30 !!! The chips weren't fresh and very oily ...I had an upset stomach all night !!!
