We
travelled
from
Newcastle
to
visit
a
friend
in
Selby
and
this
restaurant
came
highly
recommended.
We
were
advised
to
book
a
few
days
in
advance,
and
we
can
see
why.
The
place
was
incredibly
busy,
yet
the
staff
remained
professional
and
were
great
hosts.
We
initially
sat
at
a
table
near
the
stairs
on
the
first
floor.
However,
when
a
window
table
became
available,
the
staff
kindly
asked
if
we
would
like
to
move
to
somewhere
a
little
more
special
(the
champagne
may
have
been
a
giveaway
that
we
were
celebrating).
We
had
butterfly
prawns
for
starters
along
with
a
mozzarella
dish,
supported
by
a
garlic
bread.
All
of
which
were
superb.
For
main
course
we
had
a
fillet
Rossini
and
cannelloni.
Again,
both
were
utterly
superb.
All
in
all,
a
great
night
with
great
food.
We
shall
definitely
return
when
we
come
back
to
Selby.
Special
mention
to
the
young
waiter,
who
went
that
extra
mile
to
make
the
experience
what
it
was.
For
someone
so
young,
his
confident,
yet
friendly
and
professional
approach
were
a
credit
to
him.
