Vast birdwatching area. Plenty of opportunity to spot variety of waterfowl. I saw egrets, raptors and herons amongst others. The terrain is very active with a variety of our feathered brethren. You can walk right along the Parade at Parkgate. If you go past the Boathouse pub, there are two small free car parks, only a short walk away from Parkgate's front. Good views too across the estuary to the hills. Free loo block near The Hut café, which has homemade cakes. Recommended area all round.

You need a bit of patience to see a variety of birds. I was lucky and got to see a heron hen harrier and great egret. They are no toilets that I could see.

We parked at Parkgate and walked to Hadlow Station. On the way back we walked along past RSPB Parkgate. Canada Geese were flying in formation overhead. It is very popular with bird watchers and there are lovely views to be had. Well worth a visit

Parkgate is a beautiful place to visit anyway and the RSPB is just as amazing. A variety of birds. We saw a hen harrier, Some Canadian geese and an egret, of course some coots. There are no loos here. Though there is on the parkgate front. The pubs and chip shop. It is also great sunsets here too. You can walk along quite a long way.

Bit overated and not what we had been expecting. Maybe best to go Autumn or winter if you want to see much Bird life. Took a lovely circular walk from the car park, through the golf club and back again.
