Nice hotel, good the fact it has a gym and jacuzzi with nice view. Rooms are nice and good night sleep. Shame right next to a busy road. Unfortunately rude male waiter pressuring various me as a guest to buy something and upon refusal a snide comment. I would expect that for this kind of establishment, service is key hence the review and three stars!

For 1st time Spa-goers this was really underwhelming. We had each booked a massage (Full body and Marine back treatment) which was a great start to the visit, as the massage therapist was very good. Following this there was just a sauna, steam room and "relaxation room" as the hot tub was out of order. It is difficult to occupy yourself for 3/4 hours (day package), with only these available. We ended up leaving an hour and a half early as most spaces were taken up with other visitors. Unfortunately we felt rather out of place and not feeling too welcomed by the staff, which didn't give us the relaxing break we were really looking forward to, considering how much we spent. We then followed our treatment package with a meal in the restaurant. This was sadly disappointing too as was rather overpriced and took an hour to arrive which was confusing considering the low number of people in there. The price really didn't seem worth it, which was a shame considering we'd read seemingly good reviews

Went for a large family meal (22 people). Food was superb and the staff were wonderful. The hotel has changed a lot since I was last there - the bar and restaurant were lovely

Came for an evening meal after a day out. Everything was really nice. Everyone on the coach said how nice it was. Which is saying something when 26 or more can agree 👍

Popped in for afternoon light bite GF friendly. Staff happy to show us around their new gym. Looks great

Fantastic place we use the gym there, which is great but also use the restaurant which is really nice. Nice location just off the A55, but with lovely views of the estuary.

Amazing experience. Therapist for treatments really knowledgeable. Dining experience was excellent, food was extremely tasty and fantastic quality, well cooked. Rooms were only OK but staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely return.

Absolutely amazing Hotel, nothing is too much trouble ,The staff are lovely and friendly and they changed our room to ground floor due to my concern of us both climbing stairs after a recent illness .. We will definitely book again when we travel to Flint .

I am pleased the place has managed to weather the storm caused by our inept government. I first visited the place over 43 years ago with my then girl friend ( now my wife) It's recently had a major revamp & the pool is now a dining area ! There a gym and fitness centre onsite. We had a sandwich snack, with chips & coffee, very filling. The chips were double fried and very tasty! Place nice and newly clean, staff spot on in every way. Views over the river Dee. Cons Some noise from the A55, as it close Pros The A55 is very close Cons lighting is a little dim

Had a lovely back massage here from Laura which was excellent, reflexology from Sue which was the best..both So friendly, professional and informative loved the experience. We've had afternoon tea here 4 times it was delicious everytime! The coffee is the best along with the shortbread.

Very nice surroundings. Attentive staff. Good food at competitive prices. Plenty of parking and outdoor eating area.

Went for the day with mum and loved it! Location is ace and the hotel is lovely, but the staff are the best bit. Gavin really looked after us and was lovely and Laura gives a fantastic massage. Will definitely be visiting again! 🤩

I asked the proprietress for a special nightly price as we live across the way and we’re having a wedding and so was a nice place for our guests to stay. Not only were we refused, but she put the room price UP the next day and changed the policy to a 2 night stay. Profit over service would seem to be the policy.

What a fantastic place for a meal , best meal in months. Great service ,fantastic choice and sandwiches filled and no skimping. We had Korean chicken on flat bread wow really tasty and the chips were to die for lol. Staff really friendly and efficient thank 😊 🙏

Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms were comfy and clean, facilities were what every customer would want, spa treatments and facilities 100% spot on and the food is worth the prices. Will be going back again :-)

Stayed for a few nights. Rooms very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Restaurant very nice with some lovely meal options at a reasonable price. Good breakfast too.

I have eaten here recently for lunch and dinner, all the dining area has been renovated and is lovely. The food was really good too and no complaints from anyone in our party. Taxis are not easy to get, so book in advance. Bar prices are reasonable. I do believe the menu has changed recently, do give it a try. There is ample seating outdoors, covered and heated too. Lovely experience.

Me and the wife went in for a meal really shocked at how well the food was presented! This place definitely doesn't get enough through foot that's for sure food quality is excellent! Perhaps the business owner should advertise on the A55 about the restaurant a bit more!

Here from Salisbury to work on family tree. Really nice atmosphere very attentive staff Lovely food and wide menu. Room was very clean and comfortable made our stay a little extra highly recommended.
