Over
the
past
30
years,
the
standard
of
Indian
restaurants
in
the
Greater
Manchester
area
has
really
dropped.
Even
the
"Curry
Mile"
doesn't
really
exist
anymore,
which
tells
you
something.
Having
become
disillusioned
with
my
regular
haunt
I
started
to
ask
around,
and
a
friend
recommended
this
place.
I've
been
6
times
in
the
4
months
since
that
recommendation.
The
restaurant
is
spacious
and
modern.
The
staff
are
exceptionally
friendly.
The
food
is
top-class,
with
a
menu
unlike
any
other
Indian
restaurant
I've
dined
in.
For
years
I
would
go
with
just
a
bhuna,
dopiaza,
or
biryani,
so
I've
decided
to
just
pick
random
things
off
the
menu
now,
with
the
help
of
the
staff.
One
young
waiter
has
circled
around
12
different
dishes
for
me
to
try,
and
halfway
through
those
recommendations
I'm
not
disappointed
yet.
Highlights
for
me
have
to
be
the
Chennai
kebab
from
the
starter
options,
and
the
Chennai
Exotica
from
the
mains,
although
the
Malibu
Chicken
and
Chennai
Chum
Chum
come
a
very
close
second.
The
papadums
come
with
a
great
chutney
tray,
and
the
rice,
bread,
and
side
dishes
are
all
on
point.
You
get
a
lot
of
food
for
your
money.
And
on
top
of
the
fantastic
dining
experience,
the
prices
are
reasonable
too.
There
aren't
many
places
these
days
where
you
can
dine
for
around
Β£30
per
head,
including
alcohol.
I
did
consider
giving
a
poor
review,
to
keep
people
away,
as
it's
been
full
every
time
I've
been.
Reservations
are
highly
recommended.
