Came to my friends wedding here and must say that the staff here are expectional! Everyone made sure to make this day special for everyone but especially the bride and groom. Food was delicious and very nicely presented. Honestly really enjoyed this day and hope to be back one day in future.

Enjoyed a Sunday evening meal with a party of 11 people. Menu was good and varied. Prices were reasonable. Service was very good. Meals were very enjoyable, with well cooked, hot food, (where applicable). The venue was very pleasant and although it was dark when we visited, it looked beautiful outside. The car park was large and convenient. Altogether, considering it was our first visit, we greatly enjoyed the experience.

Fantastic wedding venue, staff were great and tge food was fantastic, beautiful location and lovely rooms we stayed in a deluxe double , luckly the window opend wide as theres no fan or aircon.

Lovely place for a wedding. The food was outstanding and their leek and potato soup was possibly the best I've ever tasted. Fantastic roast beef dinner as well.

Hotel has been taken over by Harrison Hall and no longer does evening meals. Beautiful grounds and hotel. We had coachmans cottage which was quaint. Used as a wedding venue midweek. Good and plentiful breakfast .

We went as a party of 11 for a Christmas Dinner. The building and atmosphere was great, the staff were fantastic (thanks to everyone) and the food is superb. I can't fault this place we had a marvellous evening and will certainly be going back to sample other delights from the wide menu. I can't comment on the accommodation as we were just evening guests.

Absolutely beautiful place and the food I tried for my wedding was amazing can't wait to get married here in August.

Lovely hotel. Only just reopened so the new owner has to put his own stamp on the place and sort out reopening of the fabulous restaurant as we've been to the restaurant under previous owners loads. Was weird staying there when it was so quiet. Hopefully it can be brought back to a busy lively vibrant hotel and restaurant. Proper comfy nights sleep by the way.

Poor food. Slow service . Will not go there again.its a shame..as it's a lovely place with wonderful settings...but food was poor . Sunday lunch was very minimal 4 choices ,no starters, and simple puds, no effort made to enhance what was priced at £25 a head ,,! Very disappointed.

Everything was fantastic from the welcome & service, the food was excellent & would recommend. Collette, Peter and everyone of the staff could not have done anything more with their attention to detail, looking after everyone & everything I cannot praise them enough as they did a fantastic job of making my daughter Lianne & her new husband Sams wedding day. Could not wished for anything better.

Wonderfully quaint! The location of this property was beautiful and the grounds were exceptionally well kept. Our room was basically a little cottage and was lovely! With breakfast included (which was also absolutely amazing) at such an excellent price I would 100% return. I couldn't fault the place it is absolutely up there with one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Absolutely loved it! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay to all the staff at at the Plas Hafod!!!

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, great atmosphere, brilliant service and amazing food. This is why we keep on coming back! 4 generations of our family love coming here for all our celebrations and get togethers, from weddings to birthdays you always make each visit as special as the last.

What a wonderful place for a wedding. Staff are excellent, helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms have an olde world feel, as it is a period house. Could not recommend it enough.

What an absolute Gem ! None of your faceless couldn't care less, mega hotel with painted on staff smiles. The staff were friendly, the service was excellent and the food great, not to mention the fantastic breakfast.The room was spotless and it's traditional style had more character than most entire hotels. The grounds are gorgeous and so relaxing. If you want to have a fantastic break in a lovely part of the world, and to help the hotel industry back on it's feet then I would highly recommend the Plas Hafod. A real Gem !

Here last night for mums 70th . You accommodated us by trying to sit 14 all family close together.(restrictions adhered to) Lovely food ....fab service ....very attentive. Nice to see others out and enjoying them selves ...in the great surroundings.

Lovely historic hotel. Great place for functions and food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Attended a wedding and stayed overnight in a lovely room. Facilities were good and breakfast was tasty and served by a friendly member of staff
