This place used to be amazing, but the food quality had gradually deteriorated. This will my last time dining with La Parma. The pasta and sauce are just so plain. The sauce tastes like it came from a can. Absolutely no taste at all. At these prices, it's an embarrassment to serve Italian food that tastes this bad. Random Delis with buffets actually have much better pasta and Italian food.

First time there celebrating a birthday. Food was delicious and the service spot on. Priced very reasonable for family style dining. Highly recommended.

Food was very tasty and hot!!! Plenty of food and their sangria was refreshing. Staff was very friendly especially Gerald the owner's son who served us. We will be back!

Typical Italian restaurant. Good choice of sea food. Not the typical pizza type place. The shrimp dish and marinara was the best on our order list. Pricier after the epidemic and inflation. Supply/demand economics will decide if the lofty prices can be sustained.

Food was good..but toooo many waiters..bosses.. people buzzing around...it was not relaxing..they were constantly coming over...I just wanted to be left alone to enjoy the dinner.... it's like they can't wait for you to leave... so they can turn over the table!

My wife, I and several friends had diner here on our visit from FL. La Parma is my favorite Italian restaurant in Nassau County. I was surprised to find out that the Port Washington location was closed as it is a little closer. The food is always great! (family style), service is top notch. See you in November!

My all time favorite Italian restaurant! The portions are served family style. Service is great! The food is always consistently delicious and the staff is always attentive and friendly. I love the calamari arrabbiata and the mount Vesuvius desert is the best! Highly recommended.

We have been going to this fantastic family restaurant for the past 30 years with all of our friends. The food is absolutely delicious and amazingly consistent. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Abundant portions and very reasonable prices fir a family style restaurant.

In the spirit of the holidays the server was clearly looking for a bigger tip… It was just me and my boyfriend for dinner. The server took it upon himself to assume we needed everything family style (instead of maybe just asking, like a good restaurant would have it’s a servers do). We ordered 2 apps and 2 entrees, again there was 2 of us, so that makes sense right? Didn’t fully realize until entrees came and a pasta platter that could’ve served 6 people comes out. And then another! I have no problem paying for the food I ordered but it’s just a VERY shady thing to do. And food was just OK, best thing was my Caesar salad. Manager AND server never came over to check how food was, if they had maybe I would’ve said something. Probably because they knew they were scamming more money out of me and my boyfriend. I won’t return.

The perfect combination of class and quality. First of all, unmatched service and manners from the staff. I felt like I had been coming here for years even though I’m not even from Long Island. The food is to die for. It’s so delicious and there’s so much of it. Don’t be fooled, this isn’t a silly, NYC overpriced “fine” Italian restaurant. This was made for everyone. The prices are perfectly matched for the portion size. You think it’s too much? You’ll be taking some food home for a few days. Don’t you worry. It’s worth every penny. The Chinese Chicken is top notch. I had to put that out there before I note anything else. We started with La Parma salads which were a nice, light opener. Then we got the Brussels sprouts, calamari, Chinese chicken, salmon, and a pasta with broccoli. I won’t even try to explain it. It was all so good. Go for yourself and understand why this is such an incredible institution.

Excellent food, huge family style portions. But this is a dining experience. Don't expect to eat quickly. It's always crowded and busy. Waiters are nice and bust their hump working. A reservation is almost always a must. My martini was a little watered down but nice size.

First time I went to la parma ordered out it was great i will be back. Ordered linguini with red clam sauce and linguini with white clam sauce. Price was comparable to other restaurants in area but much more food and better. Those 2 trays were $18 each. They weren't afraid to put clams and garlic in.

Veal parmigiana was sooooooo delicious. It was tender, flavorful, and perfectly thin with the most mouth-watering marinara sauce. Best Italian I’ve had by far.

It was a sad occasion why we went here. About sixty to seventy-five people came here after my cousin's wake. The staff was very accommodating They continually added tables because there wasn't enough seats. The food was very good and there was plenty to go around.

Food was great. The family style meals had great portions and the food cooked very well. Great seasoning on the broccoli and salad. However, the valet system is absolutely pointless. Why do I have to give my car keys to a random person I’ve never met before just to have them park on the street anyways? They said that you can’t park on the street yourself because then the neighbors complain yet they’re allowed to themselves. Feels like they’re trying to get money out of you. Cut the valet, there’s no point in having them.
