Great neighborhood restaurant atmosphere. The place was packed you can tell most of the crowd were regulars. The service was good, my table was ready in 5 minutes. We ordered the spicy blood orange margaritas they were excellent. Appetizers we had the corn shrimp soup and the pulled pork sliders both were very good. The entrees were good but n't amazing. I had the skirt steak over short rib ravioli, it was too salty and my wife had the Baja tacos. My friend told me next time to get the half roasted chicken and the burger, so I will come back to try those. Overall it was nice dining experience, the prices and portions were great. The check had a QR code to pay which I loved, it was so quick. I hate waiting 10 minutes for wait staff to give me back my credit card.

They hosted our small wedding. The side room is cozy and we had 23 adults in there, could fit more. They were very accommodating with everything and flexible. I'm posting pictures of the food because we didn't get any shots of the room without guests. We have to make a return on our 1st anniversary and going forward yearly as well. Lots of compliments on the room and food. Recommend Mims not just for small events but the food as well.

Was given a gift certificate after a misunderstanding and decided to go with my Wife tonight on "date night" and check this place out. A Beautiful ornate restaurant, clean and with a warm atmosphere greeted us. Receptionist was attentive and caring and showed us a variety of seating choices which we appreciated. Our server Mike was young, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient and took our order straight away. Food was excellent and made fresh. Grilled steak sandwhich was outstanding and the rigatoni with meat balls was a large serving and very tasty too. We had started with a Margherita appetizer pizza for two and enjoyed that as well so we couldn't finish our entrees but will enjoy them Sunday night..lol. (This dinner was on Saturday). When we first walked in the place had just a general feel of coziness and calm to it as it has a local feel, where many of the staff seem to be friendly with many of the customers. Being relative "strangers" everyone we came in contact with treated us first class and were helpful and gracious as if we were regulars and that was amazing. Very pleasantly suprised at the whole experience. We had chocolate mousse cake and coffee for dessert and left smiling & content. We will be back for sure to try many other great choices that intrigued us on the menu. Highly reccomend as this is a hidden gem. Thanks again for the chance to see what you had to offer as you've now made a friend who will be back again and spread the word to others of your fine establishment.

My family and I went here for Father’s Day. The service and ambiance were good but the food was stellar. Everything we tried was delicious. I liked it so much I suggested this to my fiancée for our wedding rehearsal. She liked it too and so opted to have this restaurant host our rehearsal. The staff were very accommodating and even accommodated the few extra guests that showed up last minute on the day of. Unfortunately, one of the most popular food items on the menu that day was the Granny Smith chicken, which was definitely not up to standard when compared to their other dishes. Since a good portion of our guests chose this item, it did tarnish the quality of the restaurant in their minds. Finally, the parking is very limited but they do have complimentary valet. All in all, the service is too notch, ambiance is fine, and food is delicious. This place would have hands-down had a 5-star review were it not for this one item.

Great spot with good food. Was cute and they let us take our time. Food was decent - the lava cake was amazing and the s’mores were just fun to make. I also liked the sole oreganato (i think that’s the name) and their appetizer that was fried shrimp & fried cauliflower. I’d go back.

Went for a birthday party and was seated in a private room which was nice. Food was excellent except one person asked for a well done steak and it came out raw and she ended up getting sick despite having the steak recooked. Service was a little slow and there was lag between people getting their food. The server was really nice but seemed overwhelmed-granted we were 20 people. Would go again as the food was delicious

American grill fare with a full bar/cocktail set up. Valet parking on site and tented outdoor seating available. This visit was my first and the menu was the draw. I had my eye on this spot but timing was key. Make a reservation when possible. The waitresses were very friendly and welcoming. The chicken breast and apples entree was excellent and I really enjoyed my steak with mushrooms, cheese over rigatoni. So savory!

I was looking for a restaurant to take my family to for my Dads birthday. I’m so happy I decided to give Mims a try. The service was wonderful. Our server was very friendly and always made sure we were happy with what we ordered. I had the sautéed chicken and even though it sounds boring, it was delicious. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. My favorite item from the night would have to be the Buffalo chicken spring rolls! Crispy and filled with just the right amount of chicken. I wish I ordered more! Would definitely come back.

Our server Mike was outstanding, can’t rave enough. Fantastic martinis come in a proper coupe glass. Perfectly seasoned and cooked blackened salmon. Everything on the menu sounded amazing with plenty of vegan options also. Excellent desserts as well, excited to return!

Came to celebrate a friends birthday. We received excellent service! The restaurants atmosphere & layout is very nice. The bathroom was immaculate. The food was good & served hot. They offer indoor & outdoor seating & valet parking. Complimentary bread with butter & hummus at the table. They have something for everyone, even vegan options. Would love to return.

Overall a good experience. I had the French onion soup and Angel hair and chicken. The quality of the food was outstanding and the French onion soup was really good, I sat at the bar and the speed and quality of service were both solid.

Had dinner with some friends at Mim's. We all enjoyed our dinners and desserts. The waiter was professional, friendly, and very patience. We were not rushed to order or to leave. We lingered over our coffee and conversation longer than we should have. The staff was always polite, friendly, and helpful. One of my favorite go to spots

Went here for a group lunch. I haven't been there in a while. The food is great but a little pricey. Miss the prix fixe menu they used to have for lunch. I had the organic half roast chicken, it was flavorful and the skin was perfectly crispy. The meat was tender and juicy. Would definitely go back for special occasions. The waitress did mention reduced price happy hour food at the bar as we were leaving. So that may be another option.

Dined here for the first time this evening after reading many great reviews. My husband and I are always looking for a great date night spot. We arrived early and started at the bar for a drink. We always order a sangria to start since it’s our favorite. We went with the red, made to order option and it was okay.. nothing special and wouldn’t order it again. After our sangria we were seated at a booth. Our waitress was patient and very helpful. We both had the French onion soup which was incredible as well as an order of the spinach and artichoke dip which was also amazing. We each tried another cocktail off the cocktail menu. My husband had the bourbon sweet tea which I found to be pretty good but he thought wasn’t strong enough for a bourbon based drink. I had the toasted coconut margarita which was very heavy on the tequila and did not have the yummy toasted coconut rim as expected. It was also too strong if you ask me.. heavy handed drinks are great but only if the flavor of it balances it out. We then tried the ribs which were okay, the Granny Smith chicken which I had read so many great reviews on, also okay and the mac and cheese which I was most excited for and that was a bit of a disappointment as well. After all that food we ordered an order of cheesecake to go and I have to say it is a tiny slice for the price but haven’t tasted it yet to say if it was worth it or not. Overall, I would go back just for the soup but don’t think this will be our new go to place for date night.

Went for lunch with about 8 relatives. Upon ordering, I told waiter that I wanted the bill split. We all order and to our dismay when the orders finally started coming out, they came out over a period of about 15 minutes. Those that were 1st to receive their food was cold. The food was expensive and absolutely NOT worth the price. I had chicken wrap and it was dry. Then, after a long wait, cold, dry food the waiter did not split the bill and claimed he could not do it after the fact. On top of all of this, there is only valet parking. Sooooo not worth it. Would never recommend.

I had my rehearsal dinner at Mims this past April, and it was INCREDIBLE! From the delicious food (passed around Hors d'oeuvres, appetizers, mains, and dessert samplers), the amazing and attentive staff, and the open/stunning space within the restaurant- it was truly a perfect night. Jimmy the restaurant manager was SO easy to work with, and did everything to ensure the night was exactly what we wanted! The Mims staff are SO wonderful - we're already planning our next celebratory event there! Highly recommend thinking of Mims for your next rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, big birthday celebration, or anything else! Thanks again to everyone at Mims!

I took my wife and two daughters for a late lunch after we had the horrible experience nearby of putting our 17 year old dog down a few miles away at North Shore Animal League. We started with the Pretzel and Brie and Buffalo Chicken Appetizers. The Brie and Fig Jam is amazing. The wings had a lot of meat on them and they were cooked perfectly. We had two Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches, a Chicken Quesadilla, and Rigatoni a la Vodka. The dishes were all a good size and all were made to our liking. My wife and daughter had the White Sangria, which they loved. Richie was our server and he was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Your staff made a horrible day much better with great food and service. Thank you, Jimmy.

The male and female host (08/18/23 around 7 PM) were disgustingly rude, making insulting comments when trying to pick up food. Will never return after this terrible experience, as I have a strong feeling one of the two up front was also a manager and clearly their immaturity and rudeness trickles down to their employees as well. If you want to be respected, DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE!

Love the restaurant. It is our "go to restaurant." Tonight however, was a crazy night. We got home and couldn't find our car keys after the valet gave us the car. We went to turn back to the restaurant and found them on the windshield!! Enjoy the food and the service but check your keys before your leave!

This restaurant is easily one of the best places I've ever been to. The food was all absolutely delicious. We had the wings, buffalo spring rolls, rigatoni with steak, granny smith apples chicken, and chicken parmesean. Everything was amazing. The atmosphere is warm and felt like home but also beautiful and elegant. I went with my girlfriends and we all agreed we would be back to try the entire menu. Service was wonderful I really enjoyed our waitress and she was spot on with her suggestions especially for dessert. The cookie skillet and banana Betty parfait were incredible. I didn't have a cocktail but my girlfriend's did and they both enjoyed them very much. Can't wait to go back.

Booked an end of year 2023 holiday party for about 40 people at Mim's. We worked with Barbara in Catering, and also met one of the owners (Brian, I think). The party was absolutely fantastic!! We had passed appetizers, trays of salad, pasta, and chicken tenders, and homemade cookies (absolutely out of this world!) baked by their Chef. There's a good possibility that we will be back at the end of 2024 for another holiday party.
