Best cocktail bar from extremely eclectic and detailed menu including a wide selection of digestives. It’s one of those places you can drink, have a proper conversation with good music and well spaced out seating. It’s def a place I’d go back to the next time I’m in Florence.

Unique cocktails from the most welcoming, warm proprietor I have encountered. He takes the time to explain each ingredient (none of which you have heard of) and provide you samples to be sure he is on the right track in suggesting a cocktail. His background in chemistry and perfume is on full display with the pieces of liquid art delivered to your table. Oh and by the way the music is A++++

This is the best bar I have ever been to, and I'm a former bartender. It blew my mind that this place wasn't packed wall-to-wall and had a wait list a mile long. (Note for foreigners: they speak English and Italian fluently.) Folks, if you want expertly crafted cocktails from an *alchemist* that will make you rethink alcohol, this is the place. Yes, the menu is intimidating. However, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and will walk you through your flavor profile to find the right thing for you. It is literally impossible to be disappointed here. I could go on for an hour about how incredible this bar is. Just go. It's in the heart of Florence, and the atmosphere is wacky and wild. This place is truly, truly incredible.

Like the rest of Florence itself, Mayday club has more than what meets the eye, with hidden gems at every turn. Between the rich history of the location/origin of the bar, the unique ambience, and the personalized cocktail creations that owner and head Alchemist Marco creates for each patron, you will never have a better night out than one at the Mayday! You will be doing yourself a disservice if you just “grab a drink” here… make sure to ask your server for a little history of the place, order more than one of the cocktails, and soak in the amazing vibe!

Absolutely incredible, this man is a magician with alcohol and has the expertise of decades in the perfume industry. These cocktails don't just taste good, they are a smell and overall sensory experience. I've never been to a bar like this, and we can't wait to come back!

The perfect place for chatting and sipping amazing drinks, in Florence. The menu presents the cocktails, all connected to the Florentine history, with a complete description of the ingredients, the taste and the type of glasses. You can sit on a sofa or a chair, in a complex but well integrated diversity of furniture styles. Run by professionals but friendly staff

The ambiance is immaculate, with great music and super fun eclectic decor. The drinks are creative and delicious. I was genuinely surprised it was not busier, this is truly a hidden jem of Florence.

A precious gem of a bar. A delightfully fun and delicious surprise, tucked in the historic heart of Florence. From the carefully hand crafted cocktails, handmade liquors, to the playful rhapsody of heirloom decor, this space is layered and thoughtful. Owners Marco and Jenna have worked hard to make it what it is, and the love and attention to detail shows. The alchemy and craft are present everywhere. And this alchemist is committed to his craft. I tried a few of the incredibly intriguing cocktails ~ both were exceptional, and beautiful. Rose & Cucumber, Mango & Bergamot...a delight for the palette and senses. Treat yourself to a taste of these magic potions. I will certainly be back soon for more!

Cocktails with a side of popcorn? Yes! Absolutely!!! Had “La Via Delgi Dei” a semi-sweet bourbon concoction that hits just the right notes

Brilliant cocktail bar with a staggering list of choices. Our server/cocktail guru was friendly and attentive. We tried two cocktails from the menu first and were both great. Then we took our server up on his offer to recommend something more unusual based on our preferences - at least one of them that we got was not on the menu and it was excellent. The decor was cool and the music was off-kilter but great. Thoroughly recommended.

Really interesting bar and definitely one of my favourites. As opposed to its name Mayday "Club" its more of a chill bar type of place for when you want to have some quality drinks and talk with your friends. They have a wide selection of cocktails and many other interesting drinks, artichoke flavoured alcohol and porcini flavour alcohol (I forget the names). The artichoke one tasted great and the porcini one smelled great but was too sweet for my tastes. They have nice decor if you're into the 1920s-1950s (hence the name "Mayday") with vinyls records and big posters on the wall. Honestly it just really nice to try all the interesting cocktails that they have to offer even if not all of them taste great. All the times I've been it wasn't too crowded and had a really laid back atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!

We met the Director/Host out as a guide and ended up at dinner with him and the owner of the Mayday Club. They were so awesome and made us feel like best friends and family. We were invited to come check out this bar they work. Giovanni and Marko were so great! They explained to us their processes and ideas about what they are aiming to do here. The drinks were so creative and very delicious. They spend so much time perfecting flavors that this is a true Renaissance of Drink. The music and atomosphere is great, too! English is spoken very well here and would highly recommend you visting this place and having a drink and some conversation!!!!

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. We felt like family immediately. The staff, decor and drinks were Triple A Plus!! The master mixologist Marco Arduino is a true genius in the art and beauty of drinks. My wife almost felt guilty drinking hers. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Florence.

The "tea room" of cocktails...this gem of a place serves what I can best define as "meditation cocktails". You're not going to taste anything like them anywhere else in the world, because each of these concoctions is a story that unfolds sip after sip. It's an intense experience of joy, pleasure, surprise. Go when you are ready to be challenged and to impress your friends. Please ask about the cocktails to the staff for suggestions on what to choose. The descriptions on the menu are really precise but if Dante had a guide, you deserve one too. Ask Marco (the owner) about the decor too. Everything in Mayday has history and meaning.

The mad scientist who works here has been perfecting his craft for over 20 years. Monitoring everything from the PH balance to the flavor profile, pairing tastes with homemade perfume to engage all the senses, distilling his own wine and schnapps to make unique tastes for the cocktails... this is an experience not to be missed! All he's missing is a white lab coat!
