If you are a cocktail lover, you would be remiss without a stop in Rasputin during your time in Florence. We made a reservation for four online, same day as we planned on visiting. The bar itself wasn't too much of a challenge to find, despite its secretive address. When we arrived we were whisked downstairs into the dark cocktail den. We were given prompt attention and each ordered four different cocktails from the menu. The drinks arrived promptly and we were all impressed: they were all consistent and delicious in their own way (we each have different tastes). We spent two hours here, ordering different drinks and chatting with the staff who were able to recommend some drinks that did no appear on the menu. The only negative thing that I could possibly say is that it was a challenge to get them to keep us well supplied with water. The atmosphere is perfect as a date spot, perfect for a gathering of friends (who are cocktail enthusiasts), or just perfect to come solo and unwind.

One of my favourite speakeasy in Florence and maybe the world. People complaining about the wait and the rules, don’t understand the concept of a speakeasy bar or make a reservation. If you’re lucky, you will get to sit at the bar. And meet the bartender, Leonardo. He is an absolute master of the craft, passionate about mixology, and will help you understand the complexities of the cocktail. I had great fun just chatting with him and understanding the drink. I got the Come and See and the Nostalghia. Both were brilliant. If you like Old Fashioned or bitter drinks, these are for you. Definitely worth the visit.

This hidden bar is amazing. It can be challenging to find, given that it is a type of speakeasy. Their whiskey menu is unmatched and the drinks are made with perfection.

High quality speak easy in Florence. Cocktails are definitely crafted with care. The decor within the bar itself really brings a lot of character and pizzazz to the overall vibe here. Definitely a cocktail bar that hits the mark when really trying to bring you back to a certain time period especially with the candles! Would highly recommend getting a reservation here as this place can get busy. Had a few cocktails here Sentimental education, war and peace, The Precipice all great!

Very exclusive and unique venue with an alternative range of cocktails - certainly great for the avid whisky lover! Not easy to locate the venue ( it's the smaller door to the right of the large arched wooden one!) Enjoyed a range of tasty ( but pretty pricey!) cocktails!Waiter very knowledge and offered slick service.Something different and not to be missed!

Very classy cocktail/ speak easy style bar. Follow and trust google maps. The location is right but from the outside looks like a closed shop/residential place. We nearly missed it but its exactly where maps says it is. Look for the brass bell/buzzer that I have added a picture of. You go in and ring a bell and then get taken down a dark passage to the underground bar. The bar area is beautiful. The drinks were really nice. A tad on the expensive side but worth it for the lovely experience.

This is not a cocktail bar, this is a secret bar and a fantastic experience. Going down the stairs, you will be into another era. Enjoy your trip.

Hard one here as I particularly like the place while it is certainly not for everyone. (I went twice with different people I was the only one to appreciate, I do have quite a particular taste generally though - in a good way :) Something strangely captivating to this back in time mysterious dramatic glamour and elevated opulence. A small hidden space that doesn’t need to be bigger or scream louder, a voluptuous grandeur that speaks in subtle elegance… an exquisite special cocktail menu to add to the perfect classics and above all a very knowledgeable and skilled team of story telling mixologists that takes it to another level. A discerning place for a discerning type of people I keep the 5th star something to still aim for :)

We loved this place. We're not whisky fans, but they had unique cocktails and we ended up ordering 3 each. One cocktail is about 20-22 euros. Our waiter was amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic. We had a lovely time and we'd go back. Highly recommend this place.

Okay now this place was off the charts. First of all finding it is somewhat difficult if you are not really looking for it which is great for a speakeasy. When you go inside there is a small room where one of their servers come up to greet you. We sat at the bar which was such a cool experience you get to see the drinks being made and all of them are so unique and intricate. There is an added element to all of their drinks and the servers will explain everything. The vibe is dark, moody, and intimate.

Great vibe, expert bar tender, interesting and unusual cocktails. They change their menu seasonally with new cocktail recipes workshopped during the previous season. Tough to find - look for the unlit “restaurant” sign in front of a door that looks residential.

10/10 highly recommended for experience and to try their delicious and creative cocktails. This is Florence's first secret bar— like an homage to speakeasy culture. It’s hard to get a table (harder to find the door even) unless you make a reservation. Yes, the drinks are on the pricey side hence you’d only see mostly tourist, but the chic kind of tourists. The vibe is very underground, sexy, dark and brooding. It’s goes with the name I guess. Pro tip: find the small door, press the bell (only once), and wait for someone to open the door and show you in…to the basement!

Such wonderful hidden place, I would have not known about if not recommended by a friend. Every thing about thins bar is nice, the atmosphere, music, service. If you are scotch fan, it is definitely the place to be. They also have non-alcoholic options. Highly recommended.

What a fun experience. Little hard to find, as speakeasies are, but once we had our little table out was very chill. Very much about the atmosphere. Also had so many fancy cocktails, I wanted to try them all!

This little underground speakeasy is a pure Florentine delight! Deep red walls and dim candle light create a vintage 1920s ambiance, and the cocktails were inventive and delicious. Reservations are highly recommend, just don't tell them I sent you, it's kind of a secret 😉

Love how hidden this is, a man that worked nearby saw us searching and showed us the way. Ring the Bell ONCE ! The staff are so knowledgeable and professional. I felt like we only wanted 1 -2 drinks here due to the atmosphere and cost of drinks however its a really fun and cool thing to do so would say you should defo visit. Was lovely and clean also.

Fun, cute, little place. Nice speakeasy. Definitely they have tourist pricing but it’s about the experience - right? And you’ll wait a bit for the perfectly curated drinks.

Wonderful experience! The drinks were amazing, the bartenders were terrific! But the ambiance was incredible, highly recommend checking this secret and very classy speakeasy out if you can locate it.

We spent our last night out in Florence at Rasputin. Looking for the entrance to the place was the best part. We knew that we were at the right location because google said so. But it was so discreet we would have missed it if one of the servers did not approach us. We might have looked crazy walking up and down the street. Anyway the inside of the bar was super tailored and felt posh(?). Drinks were good but on the pricey side. Definitely go here for the atmosphere and vibes.

The atmosphere of a typical London private member's club nestled within an otherwise quiet street of Florence. The lavish reds of the classical wallpapers complement perfectly the antiques scattered around in this unforgettable cocktail bar. If you are looking for the best service, over the top & exuberant cocktails in a private, luxurious and retro atmosphere, without duck-faced people taking selfies: this is the place for you. Be mindful, cocktails start from around €14 and they have a no picture policy.

great atmosphere and wonderful drinks. very unique elements to the house cocktails and incredibly well done classics. however, for the price it was not 100% worth it. i think you pay for the fab experience, but even then they could have enhanced it with a simple complimentary welcome drink or small bites like nuts.
