a classic pregame spot. drinks are $6, shots are $3. shot menu is huge and they have a different shot for every college. definitely more of a scene for Americans and those studying abroad. punch card gives you a free shirt after 20 drinks!! they also have a food menu that is decent.

Lively place that serves spritz at 5€, beer 4-6€. It gets busier into the night so if you want a table outside, get there by 21:30 to be on the safe side. The bar is located by a nice small square. After 10pm, the bar stops serving drinks in glasses and switches to using plastic cups, which is fine. But, the cup is significantly smaller in volume compared to the glass my Aperol Spritz comes in. It is still €5 so I find this odd.

Staff was great very understanding and helpfull and always in a good mood. The bar felt very safe with all the security around, prices are very good for the location too. The ambiance was amazing i would advise this bar for any young tourist or students.

Good bar with a college aged crowd. If you're in your 30s like me you will be the oldest person there, but still had a great time regardless!

Nice atmosphere and lot of decoration inside. Interesting choice of beers, including classic Irish but also some Belgian beers (Grisette on tap, nice one!). Prices were decent as well. Didn’t tried food though.

A terrific place to stop for lunch and a pint if you find yourself in Florence. They have a very good selection of beer, including a local craft option on tap. I had a pork sandwich that was perfect. The staff were very helpful and courteous. We returned 2 days later for a pint and our waiter remembered - making a point of asking how our holiday was going. Will definitely make this a stop if ever I'm in Florence again.

We went here twice, the chicken tacos were soooo good!! The drinks are also great and they have a large selection of cocktails! The interior is also very cool

Cheap solid quality drinks. Good for English speakers and for international students looking for buzzing nightlife. Very good service, aside from a bunch of drunk college students crowding the bar when receiving their drink instead if leaving for other people.

Great atmosphere, wonderful staff! Very happy they put Newcastle United on to watch. Definitely somewhere to go back to!!

Nice pub, good prices for the cocktails and on wednesday taco night with 2€ per taco very good and affordable. Also a great choice of draft beer and even draft apple cider.

Delicious pasta, best spinach side dish I've had in a long time, great bottle of Chianti and lovely service. Highly recommend.

Such a great vibe in the place. Can tag your name on the wall which is cool. Wine by the bottle is cheapest in Florence (15-18 euro) The bar staff is super helpful and friendly (Antonella) 10/10 would come back again when back in Florence

3.5 stars. it's an ok restaurant. some of the food was just ok, some dishes were quite nice but nothing you couldn't get elsewhere. the toilets were absolutely disgusting, broken seats and very dirty. truly nothing wrong with the food itself, but i think you could skip out on this place and not miss anything.

If you're an English speaking student under 25, looking for a student type bar, go there, otherwise just skip. This has nothing of an Irish pub but the Guinness on tap. Full of students. Slow and disorganized service. As i said it's good if you're a student with zero expectations

First red flag was having the word Lion in the name, second was the Guinness being served in a plastic cup. Not an Irish bar, avoid if you are looking for one.

Best sports bar in Florence. This is where the nightlife is with cheap and cheerful beer and food! They show everything from tennis to F1 so you'll definitely catch what you need :)

Super fun place with friendly staff, great drinks, and an awesome theme of unique shots for each of 350 US universities. Why didn't I think of that before??

We often eat lunch here and Deliveroo dinner. At night it’s a lot of college students. Food is great. Service is pretty good too. Get the super lions fries you won’t be disappointed.

About as good as you can get for an Irish pub. As an American visiting Italy, stopping here was a treat after 10 days in Italy. We had the wings, which were great and spent time watching American football on our rest day. When I return to Florence I will definitely be returning for a snack, a drink and some sports!

Very touristy, but because of that, it can be fun. The IPA is usually oxidated and the girl who works at the beer tab is very unpleasant, not willing to admit the beer has been in the keg for a very long period. Or she simply does not understand beer. The ladies who serve drinks at the bar in the back, they are great.

Really nice Irish Pub to relax with your friends, and taste different types of beers.the food is great and really reasonably priced.The jalapeño poppers are Bueno👌 On Tuesdays you have a special offer on the chicken wings! And the servers were really kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit with your friends

Pleasant atmosphere. A bit hot and the pigeons are a pest. They have wi-fi but it wasn't very reliable. The coffee was fine and the breakfast snacks were OK too.

Find an Irish bar and you'll find English speakers. The bar was packed inside and on the street until last call. Mostly college age through grad student aged Americans. They have a huge selection of beers light to dark for everyone in your group! Every college t-shirt represented on the ceiling, keep looking you'll find it! I challenge you to find the actual fountain with the lion while visiting.

This sweet little restaurant was right down the street from our accomodations and we went twice and enjoyed it both trips. Service was good and personable. We even took home a free keychain souvenir for our patronage. Classic Italian menu, great Chianti, yummy food and cool atmosphere.

Really disappointed. Stopped in for some wings and took almost 40min along with some attitude from the workers when just checking in on order. Beware all the flies infesting every table and the moldy smell coming from inside.This place was definitely a NO.👎

All the premier league games on and the drinks/food are exactly what you need. Staff is helpful and very easy going.

Great place in a hidden corner of Florence. Food is good and prices are fair. Staff is typical Italian; they are not in a rush, and will serve you when they see fit. 😉 Relax and enjoy a bottle of Chianti while you wait.

Would rate it like a 4,2. Great pub, great beer and specially great for watching live games with friends. Beer's price is like 6€ so that's decent. Just know that is completely turistic, there's usually many Americans.

The showed the Premier League match on 5 or 6 screens. Definitely more 'dark pub with stools' as opposed to a comfortable sports bar but friendly service. Shame my team didn't win!

A nice bar, absolutely casual, good choices beer. Food is ok, nothing special, but that's not the reason why people go to lions. Full of young Americans I couldn't say if that's good or bad.

Liked the burger, their own Lion beer and the atmosphere!!! That night around midnight I have been trying to find a place where to eat and have some beer - and Lion's Fountain was the only one still serving food and quite crowded
