After reading a poor review of the Moscow Mule I had to try for myself. Can say it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted, bartenders friendly to us pesky non Italian speaking tourists and the music was banging.

Ended up on stage with my style of metal blues.. Great place and people. Loved it

Although the music that was on when we were there was less rocky than I was expecting, the odd nugget of joy popped up. That to the side, chap serving was brill, nice beers, what’s not to like.

Spent 3 nights in a row at this place while on holiday and every night was better than the night before. Drinks and cocktails were amazing and Emilio went above and beyond to accommodate drink request by going to the store in between customers so he could accommodate a rare drink request. Great staff, great service! My favorite bar in the city and will be back every time I visit!

Great drinks and even better chicken nuggets. They gave us bbq, ketchup, mayo and mustard with them too. We tried the mozzarella balls, fries, and a burger as well, all were fabulous. Fried olives were not good but were olive haters. Live music is always fun and bartenders are lovely, but bathrooms are questionable.

Gets 4 stars for being the only rock bar in Florence afaik. Good music and beer. However, be prepared to wait a long time for drinks as the venue is too small for the crowd and they are understaffed. Nonetheless, should be a good night if you can overlook the small things.

The Cocktails are amazing, The music choice is heaven for any Rock and Metal enthousiast and the bartender is a hoot. We are definitely going again.

Bartenders pay exceptional attention to the preparation of cocktails. They also have some of their own. Or you can just have some beer and enjoy vibes.

We had a great night in here in April 2022. Staff were all absolute heroes, band were great, ale was great, local punters all wonderfully welcoming - 'Hey Liverpool, want a shot?! 😂. It was like a home from home, a pokey little rock bar full of great people and serving up great booze. Staff also solicit requests for the music once the bands have finished, and this results in a wonderfully eclectic vibe. Loved it and will certainly be back once we return to Firenze.

Fantastic experience for a metalhead visiting the city. We lucked out on their appetizer buffet + free drink, and we enjoyed the ambiance quite a bit. It's definitely not for everyone, but if you're a fan of rock and roll, it's a nifty spot with excellent prices. There's nothing fancy here, just a ton of music culture on the walls and ceilings. I loved that the lights were drum cymbals. So rad 🤘

The Virgin Rock Pub is one of kind. I would say it is the best bar on planet earth. If you are in Firenze, please give it a try. Great food and drinks.

Great little rock bar! Friendly staff, good selection of reasonably priced drinks and great music! The whole place is pretty 'compact and bijou' and the stage is probably one of the smallest I've seen (and I've seen a few!) but it packs a lot of character into that space. Within half an hour of arriving, I had already heard Muse, Smashing Pumpkins, Jane's Addiction and Queens of the Stone Age. If you like that kind of music, you'll love Virgin Rock Bar! I did!!

It's fine to stop here for a quick drink on a tour of the city, but it's lacking in any special Florentine flair and isn't large enough to make up for it with a variety of company. It has beer (very limited selection), and that's about it. Staff are friendly enough though.

I cannot comment on the food because I didn't eat in here. However I can comment on how amazing the staff are! I came here as a solo traveller before my family joined me, this place made me feel extremely welcome. I speak very little Italian but this didn't stop the locals and staff being friendly with me! This very quickly became one of my fave places to have go and have a drink. The prices are reasonable and the drinks are good 😁 Want to say a specific thanks to Matteo (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) for all of the above and the warm welcome smiles 😁

Coolest pub in Florence! Nice staff and atmosphere and live music in the weekends! Definitely check it out.
