I agree with all the other reviewers that this is a great place to hang out. Doesn't feel touristy, full of locals. However, when the bartender, dark bearded one, serves someone with a different accent who is obviously not from the neighbourhood different portions of wine, that is akin to racism. Treating people differently just on their appearance. I've been there 4 nights and the portions served to me have varied although I have observed that all the portions served to Italians are exactly the same. Why is this? Please think about your behaviour and treat people who are not from your neighbourhood as you would be expected to be treated when you travel to other countries. When I was served by another bartender I was given a large glass, thanks!

Nice bar to have a drink on this crowded square. Large choice of drinks, reasonable prices. You can ask for the aperitivo and have a good amount of food. Waiters are kind.

By far our favourite place we visited during our stay in Florence. Sensible prices for brilliant coffee and pastries in the morning and perfectly crafted spritz and cocktails in the evening all served by wonderfully helpful and smiley staff. There is plenty of covered seating outside in the tree lined square for you to enjoy a Aperol spritz or a glass of Tuscan wine (with some chips and dip of course). You must visit Pitta M'Ingolli if you want a relaxed and more traditional experience away from all the tourists.

aside from the food/coffee being delicious, I met the most beautiful Italian girl working there. I might have to go back and visit Florence again ☺️

Really good Aperol Spritz, and the Bartenders have skills. Would comeback to try other drinks. Location is nice, near the Pitti Palace

Nice place to stop for a drink. Complementary snacks such as pesto spread, taralli and crisps are offered when ordering a glass of wine or a cocktail for the aperitivo. Lovely sitting outdoors overlooking the charming Piazza Santo Spirito. Fair prices: a glass of excellent local wine goes at an accessible €5. Would definitely recommend.

Have to leave 5 stars. Paying very little for 2 Orange juices, 2 cafes and 2 pastry and it all tasted great with very friendly service. I paid literally 3x times more in café across the bridge. This was a great value!

After 1 week in beautiful Firenze, I consider Pittam'ingolli my favourite place to relax, have a drink (and even food) in a nice atmosphere. It's not crowded, the people are nice, the prices fair and the food is worth a try.

If you’re in the area, I highly recommend going here! It was the busiest cafe in the piazza and we now know why! It’s delicious and very well priced! (2 cappuccinos, a panini, and a salad was €14) The staff is very friendly and fast. The cappuccino’s are well made and their food is so good. We got a panini with salami with a fig reduction… amazing! Go here for a drink or food or both!
