I stayed around here for about a week last summer and came to Bar d’Angolo almost every day for coffee and aperitivo. It’s one of the best bars I’ve been to all over Italy, the prices were great and quality consistent, and met some good people here. I think about this place often and that means something. Hope return someday soon!

Nice and inexpensive place for a drink outside Florence touristic chaos. Get a Negroni and stare at Porta Romana.

One of the few places I've found pistacchio croissants and they do great cappuccinos! Such a cute little bar, absolutely tiny, no seating inside, but they have a downstairs loo (!) and a few small tables out on the piazza overlooking Porta Romana.

Friendly service small place to take a quick drink. They do a decent apperol spritz and you have a good view of the porta Romana. They do have good apperitivo drinks as well

Cool place, awesome location. Just had a coffee, but the panini looked good. Packed at lunch and loads of people hang around here at night. Great outdoor seating.

Wonderful bar and very friendly staff. They helped us out and spoke in English as well as se Italian words as we were learning and trying to speak in some broken itlaian.

Fantastic place to have your aperitivo. Between locals, really friendly waiters, music and a small bite to eat with your drink

Our 'local' whilst staying in the area. My wife says the aperol spritz is the best she's had. I can only say the draught beer is fantastic.

Great little local bar. Small with tables out the front. Bar staff know how to make good drinks. It's a little meeting point for people from all directions. Awesome spot!
