Everything here was amazing but the cheesecake was quite possibly the THE BEST CHEESECAKE we’ve ever had, in the entire WORLD. Cheesecake is my husband’s favorite dessert, he orders it everywhere, and here it was uniquely incredible. The Graham cracker crust? A revelation. The cheesecake itself? Light. Not too sweet, but packed with flavor. We did the seasonal fruit and it was so so good. The vibe of this restaurant was cozy, comfortable and quiet at the hour we went (6pm). At around 7pm, guest started to steadily trickle in. The host (owner?) was so incredibly polite and welcoming, and spoke impeccable English. Which is of course not necessary, but very convenient! The pasta pasta was fresh and very tasty! Some of the best we’ve had. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the ravioli pecorino with the white rabbit sauce. It was light and flavorful, and definitely a new favorite. The next time I’m back in Florence this restaurant is a repeat for sure!!!

Delicious ravioli with truffle sauce, friendly staff, great ambience on the street & The cheesecake was a dream, The berries were a bit tart but the chocolate sauce and lightness fused together to create bliss! It was like walking on clouds ☁️ , Then eating them! If you want the classic Florence experience, park yourself here!

Authentic and delicious. The ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach are terrific! Also loved the steak Florentine. The side of roasted potatoes were okay but seasoned very inconsistently between each slice. Great friendly service.

The food, the wine, and the service were all exemplary. Had the burrata caprese, and a rabbit ravioli so good I wanted to lick my plate clean. The wine list is extensive and, as one would expect, heavily tilted to Tuscan wines. The prices are extremely reasonable too.

The best pasta pesto we had in our entire trip. It was so creamy and flavorful I wish I could eat it every day. The lasagna was also to die for. The service was very friendly and fast.

During my first visit to Florence, despite the unfavorable weather, the inviting ambiance of Le Cappelle Medicee Restorante changed our days in the city. While initially considering another highly-rated restaurant nearby for a T-bone steak, a quick glance at the latest Google reviews led us to change our minds in favor of Le Cappelle Medicee and we're delighted WE DID! The culinary experience exceeded expectations. the fresh pasta papparelle with wild boar sauce was a standout, defying the greasiness stereotype. The sauce's unexpected sourness added a stunning dimension. The T-bone steak was great and met our expectations! More importantly, the warm hospitality extended by the owner make our dining experience memorable. The owner greeted us with a welcoming smile and patiently answered all our food-related queries. Lastly, the blueberry pudding stood out as the most delectable I've ever tasted. A definite must-try! In conclusion, Le Cappelle Medicee Restorante is NOT a tourist trap; it's an authentic gem in Florence that I strongly recommend. Will definitely comeback next time when we revisit Florence!

The first night in Florence did not disappoint at this restaurant. Our meal was terrific!!!! Everyone was attentive to detail and went above and beyond to improve our experience. The wine was excellent. The homemade tiramisu was spectacular. See it for yourself.

Strolling around we found this place. Starving after a long day shopping and Craving for a Fiorentina we grabbed a sit, enjoying the outdoor area, very cute, very tight but fits around 24 ppl. I think we’re greet by the owner himself, so he recommend us the dishes, very kind very attentive. Speaking to us Spanish too, a chit-chat. Di manzo was great, good flavour, just needed to add some more Salt by yourself. Also had Pasta with ragu, it was alright. Although we would have stay longer for desserts but we were freezing outside and the restaurant was already packed at that time [07:00pm]. The bill was for $53.

Hier we had best food in Firenze. Even better than the famous steakhouse ‘Dall….blabla’ I highly recommend hier. Service was also good and he was funny and kind. Carbonara was perfect and steak was very tasty.

Fantastic food and service. Much better than in touristic places. Very friendly staff. Very highly recommend. We've enjoyed Carbonara and Ravioli with some local white wine. Prices are reasonable. Thank you!

This review is for the restaurant - it was my favourite restaurant from my stay in Florence. The Ravioli in truffle sauce was fantastic, and the pappardelle in boar sauce was also great. The service was fantastic, guiding me through recommendations and answering my questions. I highly recommend this place.

Came here randomly as my boyfriend and I saw they had great reviews and they did not disappoint. From our meals to the drinks and dessert, we would love to come back again one day as it was phenomenal. Aldo, the man who was helping us was so pleasant and sweet. Thank you guys!

Food and service were good here. We had ribolitta, pappardelle cinghiale, and pici salsiccia. The soup had good flavor but too much breading, not much vegetables.

Despite the other bad reviews about this place, after experiencing their service and trying their food, my family absolutely loved it. The ravioli with truffle sauce was one of the best I've ever tasted. Their staff was kind and kept checking up on us to make sure everything was good. The steak has great flavor and is very tender. The boss even gave us a Panna cotta on the house. Great service and overall delicious food. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone in florence. We even visited a second time before we left florence.

The minestrone is wonderful, especially on a cold day. The broth is perfect. The truffle ravioli was also so creamy and delicious. Bruschetta was also tasty. Service is friendly. And unlike many places, they’re open on Sunday!

Delicious small restaurant! We found them based on reviews online and it was a quick walk from our hotel. We ordered spaghetti and one of their thicker noodle dishes that had a meat sauce. We also split a steak which was a good portion for each of us. The wine was very good and the whole menu was well priced. Great dinner spot

Yummy primo pasta dishes with a friendly and accommodating staff! I tried the wild boar pasta which was very good surprisingly! I was nervous but if you’re on edge just give it a shot, it’s fully cooked and really just pork. I would have preferred the Pici pasta with it but really no complaints for this place at all. Outside seating could have been a little more comfortable.

What a great place! We loved eating here during our short stay in Florence. The ravioli truffle pasta was amazing. There was a pici dish, can’t recall the name but it was cooked in wine, delicious. Cheesecake, Pana Cota and Tiramisu were to die for.

This place has good service,tasty pasta, wine, and superb tiramisu! The tiramisu is HANDS DOWN the best I've ever had. I'd be willing to travel quite far just to have it again. 😄

It is a nice place, me and my family had lunch in this restaurant. the owner said, this is authentic Tuscanian dish, for me being an asian, my kids, they ware having pasta and lesagna, they ware good. the beef (dry aged), medium rare.... soft, juicy and well served. fantastic.

Amazing restaurant with amazing food and staff, no exaggeration. I especially recommend the Pana Cotta for dessert, it was fantastic! I got their bruschetta with tomatoes and their grilled steak and fries. Everything was made well and the multiple staff members checked in on me throughout my meal to ensure I was happy and to ask if I need anything. Highly recommend going here!

Food is good. Maybe not for the price. But the location is excellent of you want have a good time. Service is not that great but I think is because is too much tourists.

The great reviews are well deserved! Very friendly staff despite how busy they are during high season. Everything we got was delicious. For anyone who wants to try Florentine beef but don't necessarily want 1.2kg of meat... try the tagliata di manzo!

We've went here twice, once for a light lunch and later for a dinner because the food was good, we liked the boss lady so much and more importantly they understood nut allergies (tree and peanut). My friend felt very comfortable eating there and bistecca we had was incredibly good. Not just that but the recommendations from our server were spot on! And she was kind about to explain things about the food and region that made it obvious that she cared. Tiramisu, Panna cotta and chocolate cake were all divine! Wonderful place! Such kind people!

I was there 1st of may 2022. We had an amazing dinner with my friend. It’s an old enoteca with a warm ambience and great food. We had a steak fiorentina which was we think the best steak we ate in Florence. The staff is very welcoming. They helped us to choose a very nice wine, 5 star !! If we’ll come to firenze again, la capelle mediece will be our first stop. Thank you ! The location is in the central and is easy to reach.
