We chose the restaurant using Google Maps. It has a nice atmosphere and the service was very nice. The explanations of the different types of meat were very good. The T-bone steak was very tasty and cooked to the desired point. The recommended wine was also good. I was able to take a look at the menus of other guests. These also looked great. I can only recommend the restaurant.

We loved the food here. For the 2 person steak meal that comes with salad, dessert and water. Ordered couple of bottles of wine and pasta. The mixed platter came with chicken liver that was amazing! Pasta with duck sauce was my favorite. Ravioli was average and the server recommended one pasta with truffle sauce and that was our favorite. T-bone steak we asked for medium and they brought it more on the rare side because you get a hot stone with it to continue cooking it as desired

Yes, the steak Florentine IS actually great! It’s not a tourist trap, guys! The service was excellent and we had a marvelous time there! Make sure you ask for the salt and pepper grinders for the steak - the meat is EXCELLENT, but it does need just a bit more seasoning.

If you are a visitor, one time here is all you need ever in your life. It’s as regular as any non-chained US steakhouse. No disrespect, but in summary, the iconic Florence cut is a grass-fed, USDA choice, porterhouse steak that has extra large bones. Also, having a world ranking for steak is truly a disgrace and disrespect to world cuisines. If you are a tourist from the US who can cook a perfect steak at home or go out to lots of steakhouse (I’m prior), you will be disappointed. Also, you will find lots lots fellow Americans in the restaurant. I’m not even going to cover the side dishes. The pasta are cooked exactly how they done in the US. Oof. The biggest plus however- the meal is much cheaper than most of steakhouse in the US. Overall, a 2 stars is to the non-traditional experience, my disappointment, surroundings, below average bathroom, and also my beef with beef.

Great steak option. The wagu t-bone was cooked perfectly. The portion size was huge. Definitely for a party of two. The Bronzino was cooked to perfection. Not too salty. Skip the seafood pasta. It lacked flavor. Overall good experience

Steaks were amazing, pasta was good. Nice wine selection. But sort of felt like I was at a trendy Italian Steak house in the United States, did not feel “Italian” to me. Keep in mind, I have been to Italy 14 times in the past 20 years so I don’t say that without some experience. Our waiter was really nice, but felt like I was getting up sold on everything. Overall, food was fantastic, but I probably would pick another place.

Five stars awarded. Have to get it to believe it. Rated world famous dish. Was skeptical at first but decided to go ahead with it. Waited in line for 85 minutes and was given a table at 1030pm. The wait was worth the wait. The meat was amazingly well prepared. By far the best steak my family and I have tasted ever since we got to France and Italy 20months ago...Thank you!

Absolutely amazing! Steaks are perfect, and the 500g is very suitable for two of us. The price is cheap and we even got complimentary water, bread with mushroom and meat, and a small bottle of Chianti to take out! Amazing!

Service wasn’t pleasant. We asked 3 times for water, when ordering the salad it didn’t come with balsamic -had to ask, when our steaks arrived we had to ask again for steak knives. We asked for all our food at the same time and the pasta and salad came first. We waited and everything got cold Before the steak came. We didn’t want the T-bone we wanted only the New York (Costada?) but got the T-bone… For 101 worlds best steakhouse it didn’t preform food or service wise . Steak was good but I’ve had better places in Toronto. Go somewhere else this place isn’t anything special. Also the night before we tried going without a reservation, the lady gave a us a dirty look since we didn’t have a reservation then just ignored us. Could’ve just said no we’re full. I tried not to make a big deal of it because there were a lot of guest but it’s not a good impression.

This place was freaking amazing. At first glance a bit pricey, but considering the level of food you get it was right on par, and the ambiance of the restaurant was superb. Service was good, the only thing I would recommend is to check on us more often, drinks, etc. We lucked out with a walk in and getting right in, set up a reservation, there is even a option for that in Google.

We found this restuarant thru Google Maps, and I thought it would be the best place for someone who is visiting Florence for the first time. I'm glad friends from the US are happy and satisfied. This restaurant offers a nice atmosphere and the service was very good. The staff was very attentive and friendly. A bit pricey but considering the level of food you get it was right on par, and the ambiance of the restaurant was superb really nothing compares to its taste and the experience. Florentine steak was very tasty and cooked to the desired point. The recommended wine was also good. Overall it was an amazing experience and I can only recommend the restaurant.

Best restaurant we ate in Italy! We stayed Florence for 3 days and went there everyday hahahahaha Literally, all the food we ate is beyond our expectations! It’s a statehouse but their seafood risotto was soooooo good! We received amazing service from our waiter Marco and other servers were so nice to us as well. My American husband and I (Japanese) highly recommend this place!!

Great experience, we went with the Florentine steak 35€ set menu. The first dish tasted good, but the slices were way too thick. The steak afterwards was very good though, and there's plenty of wine options to match it with. The interior in this place is also very cool if you sit in the back, like an old basement with wine bottles all over. The service was chaotic and they were rather confused most of the time, but the good food made up for it. Recommended

Absolutely incredible meal. We went for the menu for 2 that consisted of an antipasti (huge portion!) and the famous bistecca alla Fiorentina with potatoes and salad. The beef was cooked exactly as requested (medium rare). It was tender and delicious. Could not have been happier with the meal.

We wanted to try the Florentine steak and this was the place we chose. They have many options on cut and origin/type of beef. The food was delicious even if you do not want the steak. One of my favorite places to eat while visiting Italy. The staff was very attentive and I highly recommend.

Flew to Firenze especially for a few specific meals... Florentine Chianina steak being one of them. Very friendly waiter who found my reservation and quickly sat me down. Ordered a 1.2kg Chianina T-bone with a couple of sides, and a nice bottle of Chianti. This was a lot of food for myself... but I did manage to finish the steak... even though the chef threw in a free bruschetta, with amazingly sweet tomatoes. Steak was cooked to perfection, was succulent and had enough flavour without anything else needed. Highly recommended and I will return!

Best steak house in Florence, the pasta was also amazing. Sides can be a bit expensive so it’s better to order a pasta as the side in my opinion. They also allowed us to order half portions of 2 different pastas as one order. The service is amazing as well, would go back every time I come to Florence.

We were excited to check this place out as many people recommended it. And it was good. We loved pasta and steak Florentine. But we were disappointed that they were able to serve only 2 Aperol and 2 Peroni, as they didn’t have more in stock. And we were notified only 10 min after we made the order 🥲 But overall good place and good experience

A nice steak dinner with friendly and helpful staff. The place was busy by the end of the meal so reservations may be a good idea if you are planning to eat here.

It’s a nice restaurant for eating meat and especially the T-bone steak that is so famous in Florence. The appetizers are also nice, but my recommendation if you are a meat lover is to order big piece of meat and some salad and good wine! Price is a bit high, so its not for every day dinning there, but it could be a nice treat. Make a reservation in advance, especially for dinner.

👍👍 You'll always see queues, but they are actually quite fast, so don't stress! They helped us with recommendations.
