Just right around the corner from the Duomo. We ate there several times. Our waiter was spectacular! We especially enjoyed the steak with green pepper sauce, the bean soup, and of course the homemade pasta with both the truffle sauce and the marinara. Don't forget the Chianti!

This is pricy dinner but totally worth it if you want to try the authentic bistecca. The garden in the back of the restaurant is supper pretty and has 3 ac units running ( trust me , u need that many ) The waiter is fluent in English and provided the best services.

Unpleasant surprise of 6 Euro charged person for service fees (or locally referred to as coperto). Had 2 pasta dishes and a glass of wine costing 51 Euro. Not worth it in my opinion :/

This place is on point! The service and food are both remarkable. You might miss it if you walk by too quickly, but beyond the unassuming entrance lies a nice garden patio in the back. Quickly became a favorite with 4 return visits in a week (great for lunch and diner). I witnessed fresh meat and veggies delivered daily. Maybe the best pasta I’ve ever had in Italy 😳 but they really excel in the meat department. Just wow. Thank you Leonard for the time and care you afforded us. We will be back!

We had a fantastic meal here! The meat was exquisite, tender and delicious. They had an amazing selection of wine to go with it. We topped off the dinner with some cheesecake. This place was suggested to us by the hotel we stayed at (Hotel relais Lavagini) and the owners knew each other so they were even kind enough to give us a huge discount on our meal! All in all, great food, good people and it’s right next to the duomo!

Booked online and got 20% of the bill! Turns out we didn’t need to boom there were lots of empty tables but I don’t know why the food was fantastic and the air conditioning good. Although the tiramisu had a funny twang

by far the best restaurant we’ve been to in florence. it is located right around the corner of the duomo. we came 2 nights in a row because the food was incredible and the service was amazing. our waiter was extremely kind and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied and that we had everything we needed. he gave us plenty of recommendations and even taught us a little bit about florence and wine. the truffle pasta, meat, and panna cotta are incredible! the little garden patio in the back is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. i cannot recommend this restaurant enough!! thank you Arjan for the incredible service and for all the recommendations!!!

It is the best beef I ever had. We order led a 1.2 kg, 3 years old beef. The arugula- shrimp salad was not good. It had 90% of arugala with little shrimp and corn. The whole thing was so bitter. I could not eat it. But the whole experience was fantastic.

I had the Bistecca Bella costola, and it wasn't bad. It seems to me, I'm just not a fan of Florentine steak. I like steaks thick and juicy. It seems Florentine are more thin cut and lean. The grilled veggies were great and the service was fantastic. They made me feel very welcome as a tourist.

I bet it is the best steak in Florence with no doubt. Florence is the country of steaks, and this is the best place to try the experience. It is expensive but worth it.

We were only in Florence for a few hours, but we had to get the Bistecca Alla Fiorentina before leaving town, right? We chose Locanda Fiorentina because they were open earlier in the evening than some other places, and we're glad we did! The steak was spectacular, the bread soup was superb, and we were very happy with our entire experience!

Very good food, delicious steak, nice personel although sometimes a bit cold-seeming. Also the roasted potatoes were terrible, they were definitly quite old and reheated, like the taste of reheated fried. But the steak was absolutly amazing and the mushroom pasta also delicious.

The meet was actually nice but the spices what they put is not for me. Or it’s was kind of marinade in something what I don’t like it much. But place was cool and table ne’er to the window was most coolest:) you can see lots of interesting and strange people . Nice toilet with music 😅.

We tried the pappardelle di cinghiale for the first time & we were blown away! We have never had anything like it & we’re seriously so impressed! After ordering it here, we have ordered it at a few other places but this one definitely made the best one yet! They split our order for us into two dishes & decorated both, which I thought was so cute! Delicious steak too & huge portions. Definitely recommend

We were fortunate enough to have Locanda Fiorentina in the same building as our apartment. Can not say enough about this restaurant: excellent kitchen, terrific service, and the best location. Whether its 'the best in Florence' may be subject to personal preference, but in my book, the absolute perfect spot: just the right mix of elegance, and a welcoming spirit.

I like the soup a lot. The waiter was super attentive and thoughtful. He offered a glass of citrus to help my digestion after the big meal.

Steak was absolutely gorgious and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommended

This was one of our favorite restaurants in Venice with fantastic atmosphere, good service and really delicious food. We loved the pasta the different protein dishes and the desserts

Genuinely wondering if the reviews for this place are fake? We had the 1.2kg Florentine steak, on waiter’s recomendation. It was burnt on the edges and mostly gristle & fat. For €95 we feel pretty ripped off. Unless that’s what Florentine steak is like, and we just don’t like it?! Waiter was miserable too - no smiling. Brought me my wine in a glass… would’ve expected them to come to the table with the bottle to poor it. The roast potatoes were lovely - nice subtle flavour and the veggies good too, but they each cost under €10…! We had Tiramasu for desert which was nice, but didn’t taste of much but cream. Ambience of restaurant OK - we booked but didn’t need to, not even half full. My overall feeling is that the reviews are fake/exaggerated and there must be better steak restaurants in Florence - very sad to have spent one of our only two evening meals here.

Amazing place! The food was excellent! And the location was great. Recommend the veal ossobucco. The chef's selection steak was incredible as well! Enjoy!

Worst service I've ever had in my life. I got nothing but ignorance. First there was no one at the front desk to have us seated, we had to wait for about 10 mins. Then no one took our order for a long time. When a waiter finally came to take the order, he was distracted multiple times to take pictures or respond to other desks. A normal waiter would finish taking our order before fulfilling other requests. First come first serve is a basic concept. After ordering, we waited another hour and got nothing, not even water. We had to leave after the long wait.

Truffle pasta is the best! The meat quality is also great. The service was nice as well. Highly recommend for people who want to enjoy Italian food in good atmosphere restaurant.
