Not particularly authentic Italian (or even trying to be), but this very relaxed and popular cafe is well worth a breakfast visit if a change from a coffee and pistachio croissant is sought after. We had Eggs Benedict and Salmon with Advocado - both delicious, deep orange eggs yolks perfectly runny. We arrived earyish (just after 10) and as we left there was a decent queue outside waiting for a table which speaks for itself.

The vibes are so cute! It’s very a tourist central place but the vibes’ very chill nonetheless. The Grandma’s French Toast was to die for! One of the best I’ve had, would definitely recommend it. The cappuccino and iced chai were also great as well

This is by far my favorite breakfast place in Florence! I have tired multiple things on the menu and they are delicious. The interior design is adorable and it feels so cozy inside. My only negative comment is one of the workers is rude (I have been here about 10 times) and she always acts this way. Definitely still recommend as the food is worth it.

I would give 7.5 stars if possible. What a gem. Went for breakfast and the service was impeccable and food was spot on. Fast and friendly wait staff, a Bailey’s mocha to start and ample portions with plenty of bacon. My waffles were light and fluffy with lots of fruit on top. Wife’s scrambled eggs were perfect. When hungry for breakfast in Florence, walk to La Vespe Cafe.

Nice place for American breakfast. Pancakes could be better. Avocado toast was amazing. Prices are fine.

Really enjoyed the food and I appreciate the attentiveness of the staff. We ordered "the king" breakfast for sharing, and they even divided the meal into two plates without me having to ask.

The food was absolutely fantastic and delicious! The place is a bit small so if you are larger than 2 people you will likely have to wait. We were 5 people who went on a Sunday around 11 and waited about 40 minutes. They give free water to the table which is a nice treat in Italy. The prices are a bit higher than previous breakfast places we had gone too but it was still good price for a brunch type meal. I had the Queen which was really filling and refreshing. The potatoes were seasoned nicely, as was the avocado toast which can sometimes turn out bland. The seasonal vegetable was mushrooms which paired nicely with the grilled cheese and the fruit salad was fresh with a nice mixture. The Mediterranean bowl is really a salad with some heavy toppings but the person who ordered it enjoyed it a lot! They also have their version of huevos rancheros which was quite nice. Overall, nice place but I think I prefer Rooster from yesterday due to the prices, large dining area, and free refill on coffee. As a note, they do not allow splitting of checks.

A staple for brunch in Florence with very nice and friendly service. Not many options in the menu but all very tasty 😋 the only negative note is the weird aftertaste of the pancakes - maybe too much sourdough? I don’t know 🤷‍♀️

Really enjoyed the food at le vespe!! It was really tasty and filling! However, I think their location is a bit too cozy. With their hours, it's normal to have to wait 15-20 minutes before sitting down. You have to wait across the street as there is not enough space inside and they don't want you to block the other businesses next to them. If you stray, you could lose your spot! Overall, would wait if craving some good American food, but wouldn't do it all the time.

Super cool spot for a "taste of home" (we're American) only they do American brunch better than most American joints I've been too! I split the granola and "The King" with my wife and there was not a bite left on the plate. The granola was so great, served with Yogurt and fresh berries, I'd say this stole the show, which should tell you something considering "The King" (see photograph) which was more of a massive American breakfast. Definitely enough for two people. Also, one of the best cappuccino's I've had in Italy! Service was great and staff were very attentive. We did have about a 20 minute wait but it was well worth it. Overall, would highly recommend

Great options for breakfast and brunch! We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and how the waiters treated us! Also they have a variaty of smoothies and vegetarian food options. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a really good brunch! PS: the location is small and the logo is not that visible from the distance. Make sure you do not miss it.

Lovely place! Would like more vegan options. During the weekend there’s only one brunch option and it’s expensive (15€) but they have avocado toast which is really good for 5.5€. Good coffee.

Small and cozy place, the food are out of this world and not too expensive! The staff is really kind and the food is super quick. Amazing for a weekend brunch with friends!

This is a very quaint restaurant near our hotel. The staff is friendly and the vibe is awesome. The food was fantastic. We actually had planned to return one more time before departing Florence but sadly didn’t have the time. There were a couple of items on the menu that peaked our interest. Definitely will visit next time.

Cool little brunch spot. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend the green power juice. The portions are generous, and the staff does a good job of staying on top of everything.

Incredible service and place for a good breakfast or brunch. It very good that also needs to wait for get entry. In my case, it was around 30 minutes. Completely worth it. Small tables (2-3 persons)

Excellent service. Loved the patches of exposed brick in the restaurant. The brunch food was tasty. I got the coco coffee but for the price, I would definitely recommend the boozy coffees. My friend paid only €.50 more then me and hers had Baileys.

Lovely brunch today at Le Vespe Cafè. Staff were friendly, warm and attentive, finding us a table quickly and bringing menus and water without being prompted which was a big plus. We ordered Ice Coffee, Detox Juice and Iced Tea to drink. Food-wise we opted for Smashed Avo with Scrambled Eggs and 'The Queen' which were both very good, with generous portions. Definitely recommend a visit for your breakfast/brunch fix!

This is the American Brunch you’ve been looking for in Italy. It is a must stop for us every time we travel to Florence. The staff is welcoming and friendly and the food is the best of both worlds: classic American brunch dishes using the best locally sourced ingredients of the region. The dishes aren’t just substitutes for what you might be missing back home, they’re actually better.

Florence is full of traditional restaurants and life style which also attract many young people comping here to experience life and having a deep relationship with the city. However, this Renaissance city doesn’t only have vintage cultural but also reborn many other new and delicious food. Le Vespe Cafè is located at the international zone which has surrounded by many international schools and loved by their students, one of the main reasons is their American&South American style menu!!! The warm interior space decoration is matched with the kind hospitality of the service staff creating a nice dining experience. If you just arrive at this city, why not go and try yourself, let them bring you some American style.

I am so happy I visited Le Vespe Cafe before I left florence. They have phenomenal coffee and the food is tasty as well. They also make their own hot sauce and it is among the best I've ever had. If you are craving some great food for brunch, you should definitely come here.

I was a study abroad student during the Spring of 2020. My friends and I ate at this breakfast place probably once a week just to get a taste of home... the best part? The free tap water! I have been back to Florence twice since then and always make it a point to stop by this place. I usually get the King with an Iced Coffee and it never disappoints. The staff is always very friendly and speaks English!

A very popular place with a variety of western breakfast/brunch dishes. There’s a waiting list you should register to upon arrival, and I recommend sticking around in case they call your name earlier (we missed our spot twice while waiting on a walk). Also, it took good 10-15 minutes before we were attended by any waitress, and there was only one. We tried to get some more water, and they totally forgot and left us waiting till we asked again.. The food was really great, we ordered The Queen (vegetarian option) and Eggs Benedict, along with a regular black coffee and one iced latte with oat milk. Good portions and tasty food, also recommend their green hot sauce. We got seated next to the road, and it was noisy and too sun exposed. Avoid that if you can. Final verdict: Food: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Service: 2

👍👍 You'll always see queues, but they are actually quite fast, so don't stress! They helped us with recommendations.
