The steak is amazing there! One of the best steaks I have ever had in my life. The staff is also very helpful. Met an Egyptian member of the staff (7asheesha) who was very helpful! He gave us amazing recommendations! The apple tart there is to die for! I enjoyed eating there very much. The prices are also very reasonable! I would definitely go again if I am ever in Florence again!

We arrived without a booking and were seated promptly. We were served very quickly with polite and friendly service. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing and the seating was comfortable. The food was exceptional. We had a variety of pasta and chicken dishes. All were excellent. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to any travellers visiting Florence.

Our Airbnb host said this is the best place in Florence for the Florentine steak, and it was really good. But I personally wouldn't ever get it again. It's just a very large, very expensive steak. Nothing really all that special about it. But the spaghetti was fantastic! Best spaghetti we've had yet in Italy. And the dessert was really good as well. The prices for these items were reasonable and a good value. Lastly, the service was extraordinarily neglectful. This is my fourth trip to Italy. So I understand service is slow and there's no hurry, and I absolutely love that! But we literally didn't see our server for a half hour or more at times.

This Italian restaurant in Florence offers a delightful dining experience. The food is excellent, with the duck ragout pasta being a standout dish. The atmosphere is charming, and the service is attentive. While it's popular with tourists, the quality justifies the visit. They have both indoor and outdoor seating options, and remember to make a reservation for a dinner visit, as it tends to get busy. Prices are reasonable, making it a great choice for a memorable Italian meal in Florence.

First time trying gnocchi and completely fell in love. I’ve heard a lot of people don’t like gnocchi so I was quite skeptical, but this dish was absolutely amazing! The gnocchi was soft and fluffy and the sauce was super flavourful and complimented it very well. I was stunned by the tiramisu! It is arguably the best I’ve had, super creamy and decadent and not overly sweet! Both are a must try. Must also add that service was amazing, I went right when they opened and they were super welcoming.

We stopped in between 3-4pm without a reservation and were seated immediately in the enclosed outdoor area. We had water, beer, an appetizer, and the 1kg Florentine steak and the total was about €80. They recommend cooking the steak rare (and it’s also tradition). We asked if we could have it medium instead and they said it wasn’t a problem, but it was still rare when it came. It’s a huge piece of meat and it’s understandable that it’d be tough to cook it to a specific temp, and I knew from other reviews that it was difficult to request anything other than rare. The pieces that we had were good and I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys their steak rare to medium rare.

This restaurant has some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. The liver pate and the ravioli were my favorite dishes. Our waiter Abraham was the best. Spoke great English. Very easy place to eat multiple courses at and just enjoy the environment.

Simon our server gave me the best service in a restaurant I have ever had. Treated me like a Queen (wish I took a picture with him) He is also very multi lingual. He recommended the Ravioli and wine and treated us go great. Absolutely loved the restaurant and service. Highly recommend. Please make a reservation or arrive by 18:00 in the summer as the waiting line is very long! Rightfully so. The food is amazing and good prices. 10-15€ depending.

Since 1977 this trattoria has been offering classic Italian Tuscan cuisine such as Bistecca alla Fiorentina, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Fried Artichoke. A stylish restaurant with nice waitstaff. However, I suggest that more attention should be put on the food. We returned two times our steak because we ordered it medium well and came raw. One expects much more when visiting Florence.

Very busy and bustling seemingly every day so you would want to try and book in advance or arrive early for dinner. Portion sizes are reasonable and food tasted great. The waiters were all very friendly and accommodating. Bustling atmosphere with more traditional decor.

We came as 4 people from Toronto, Canada. We’ve been trying great places to eat across Italy and we can easily say this was the best food so far from Venice or Florence. The Gnocchi is perfectly done and the tenderloin steak was perfectly done rare. Top it off with the house red wine and it was perfect. The steak itself can feed 2-3 people. The service was great as well. Just make sure to reserve ahead since it is quite popular.

We came here for lunch at the opening hour of 11am and there was no queue! We ordered the tenderloin which had a min order of 1.2kg but the waiter said it will range from 1.2-1.4kg depending on the chef’s cut. Ours ended up being 1.4kg at 77 euros. There’s only a choice of rare, medium and well done and we went with medium. It turned out nicely medium rare in the centre which was what we wanted anyway! Meat was juicy and had a nice sear out the outside, though we added more salt and pepper to our liking. We returned back for dinner that same day to try out their pastas! Pastas were affordable and the creamy truffle sauce tagliatelle was our favourite!

I had to ask for a menu after being seated for over 20 minutes. The tables on both sides of us had menus, so our section wasn't forgotten about. It was 8pm on a Saturday night and they were VERY busy, so all is forgiven. Food portions were generous, great flavor. The 1kg Florentine steak is more than enough for two people. You definitely need to make reservations.

I haven’t stopped thinking about the truffle gnocchi since we ate here. It was so delicious. The ravioli dish we had was also great. We also had a really tasty sparkling red wine which we enjoyed. The prices were fair and it was a memorable experience. The server was nice also. My only warning is that the bread tasted odd. Maybe it was just an off day though!

This place is definitely a crowd pleaser. Well executed, traditional and comforting Tuscan dishes and large selection, but be warned ....the portions are huge! I mean, American Cheesecake Factory sizes! As a result we definitely over ordered and left extremely full with a takeaway box. The spaghetti sauce was really yummy though so I finished that, and the fried squash flowers were well seasoned and tasty! White beans were nice too but as was with everything huge portions! Great value but I feel a bit bad at the food waste that must follow at this place.

I loved this place so much I went a second time before I left the city. It is the perfect combo between what you expect to eat at a restaurant and home-cooked. There is always a queue and even tho the staff makes an effort to move along quickly I would advise to call ahead and make a reservation.

Make sure to reserve a table in advance. The line outside is filled with people that reserved a table. But the place is huge so the line will diminish fast. We were sitting inside and it was fabulous! 4 Stars because it did feel a little like a touristy place at the beginning. The food is 100% amazing! We had typical Pasta dishes and one meat dish. No regrets!

Very cool place (one of the old central market buildings) with great customer service. Everything we tried were awesome! For main dishes we had stake and the gnocchi with Gorgonzola. The only negative feedback I have is about the waiting time, it could be for a long time depending on the time you arrived. However it is a must go if you are in Firenze!!!

Had a very weird start to my experience. The organisation system is very off and needs a lot of improvement. My friend and I arrived separately and they seated us at separate tables. The reservation is under my name, so they seemingly do not keep track of their reservations appropriately otherwise this would not have happened. I wouldn’t have minded this so much if the staff was apologetic and accommodating about it. But rather no apology was given for this mishap, the woman that initially ushered me to my table was giving me attitude the entire night like it was my fault. On another note, the truffle gnocchi was amazing! The hype was worth it. The vibes of the restaurant are also really nice. But again, I did not have a good experience with the service to say the least

Surprisingly good, despite it being flooded with tourists. The fillet steak with green peppercorn and cognac sauce was awesome - the sauce 👌. Appetizers were great too - went a couple of times while in Florence and had various chicken liver pate/parma ham/vegetable options that were full of flavour. Re: wait times, we had late lunches after sight seeing (4pm) and were instantly sat both times.

Food, service, atmosphere amazing! Everything is amazing, the pasta is DIVINE and cocktails are great! The place is super nice inside and the staff is really taking care of everything you need. You should make a reservation so you don’t have to wait outside, but even if you have to wait it’s worth it! The prices are not very high, it’s quite affordable for any budget. I would say the best place to eat in Florence, we went there 3 times in our trip! ♥️

The staff is kind and professional. The food is absolutely amazing and really big portions, they have gluten free pasta. I'd suggest you go for lunch, less crowded and more enjoyable. Don't bother booking on the website, unless you can do it 24 hours in advance. Try and call them! I will definitely go back if and when in Florence. Thank you!

Very massive restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Portions were generous and delicious. Servers were friendly but could have been more attentive. Menu was priced well. Highly recommend vongole. Gnocchi was too filling but tasted great. So yummy that we went back the next day again.

Delicious food, very good wine, impeccable service. I recommend you to make a reservation. I picked up a mix of 3 really good soups! Very good pasta too. And the atmosphere is typically Italian!

Gal from SF here. This place is quaint and food is delish! I’ve had a fair share of pastas in SF and this one lives to the hype. And did I mention the affordable price for a plate of pasta here?! Went around 6 and there was no wait. Ravioli with truffle cream, bomb. 8/10 Steak with green peppercorn cream sauce, recommended by the server was amazing. I was already full from the ravioli and didn’t expect it to taste this food, I went ham and ate 2/3 of it. Asked for the 1/3 to go. 10/10 The tiramisu is out of this world. I scraped the bowl while already stuffed with the pasta and steak. 100/10

👍👍 You'll always see queues, but they are actually quite fast, so don't stress! They helped us with recommendations. 👍👍 The best steak restaurant in Florence. Food was really good. I ordered the set menu of Appetizer, side dishes, mineral water and the steak, and it was worth it!
