After enjoying the gelato , wood fired pizza and various pasta dishes for the past 5 days in Florence , my wife and I desperately needed something spicy and savoury that we grew up with. Entering the glass doors during our reservation , we were greeted by the host and was seated immediately. The ochre/mustard coloured walls reflecting city of Firenze was also harmonious to the spices used in Indian cuisine. While deciding to order, we were served papad with chutneys and a lime pickle. We ordered the pistachio Lassi as well as the traditional Mango Lassi. The fresh yoghurt with mango was really good as expected. What really pleasantly surprised us was the pistachio lassi which was something we never tried. The lamb chops were well marinated, soft and tender. The garlic and butter naan was freshly made and was soft. The chicken kadahi served in a copper bowl was very delicious with a good portion of tender chicken. Lastly we ordered the chicken biryani . The chicken biryani was well spiced. The rice was abit over cooked in our opinion. In conclusion , this was a fantastic meal and we definitely will visit the next time we are in beautiful city of Florence and crave authentic Indian food. Definitely recommended!

Me and my hubby were hungry and went to eat authentic Indian food, we hadn't made a reservation but they said it was ok and showed us to a table. They served us papad with chutneys and water....and the menus of course..... And then we waited and waited and waited some more minutes...we thought they were busy....then came 6 people who had booked a table, they sat down....they got their papad, chutneys and water....we were still waiting for them to take our order.... and when after 20 minutes of waiting the table of 6 got their starters, we had enough and left to pay for our water! We can't say that the food was good or bad since we weren't served any....so make sure you make a reservation before you go.

The best Indian restaurant in town and the staff are very efficient and accommodating. Food tastes amazing and we tried a variety of vegetarian options on the menu. They can help with allergies etc but some dishes cannot be altered.

Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. We found it by chance and want a different cuisine after eating Italian for 2 weeks. You cannot go wrong with this restaurant. The staff is very polite and the management is very nice too.

High prices, small portions, the rice in my opinion had been cooked much earlier (it was dry). Two minutes after ordering we already had the food on our plate. I honestly expected better

A great place hidden in Florence. Food was great. It was authentic, flavorful and delicious. Their hospitality was even better and we loved eating there. If you are looking for authentic Indian food and Indian hospitality, this is where you should go.

Excellent. The service was so good and quite fast, and the food was tasty. You can ask for suggestions, they're so helpful. The place is good for friends, couples and business dinners. It's better to have reservation before going. It's easy to find the restaurant, you might have difficulty to find parking, but there a place a few meters ahead where you might park your car. Prices are so reasonable. I recommend.

Must visit Indian restaurant in Florence. Great ambiance with lovely authentic Indian food. Staff is very polite and friendly. Service was also quick. I had a chance to talk to the owner of the restaurant Mr. Giotti Singh. He is such a gentleman. He shared his journey and passion for Indian food. I wish whole team great success. Good Indian restaurant very close to Florence SMN Station, the food was good, the only reason is to reduce 1 star is for low portion size of the dishes, also the staff was kind enough to provide service at the last minute of the closing time, I would recommend this restaurant in Florence.

After eating Pasta and Pizza for 10 days we were desperate for some Indian/Pakistani food. A taxi driver recommended Haveli to us. The owner greeted us at the door. Clean. Beautiful decor. Excellent food. Highly recommend if you want real Indian food.

Went to Italy In August/September 2022. We were walk ins and has no reservations. They immediately sat us. Food was amazing and came out promptly. The service was phenomenal as well. We needed a taxi called back to our hotel and the owner was kind enough to call one for us. Great service! Thank you!

Honestly, don't get the hype. Food nothing special, had way better in Palma de Mallorca, served as street food. Prices - they give you an outdated English menu and then you get about 30% higher bill. It's not a good practice. And worst of all, baby portions. We got two mains, two drinks, one desert for 52 eur. Think about it.

The best indian food in Florence! I always come back everytime when I visited Florence. The food is authentic and the quality is always the same. The restauraunt is always clean and has a nice and pure decoration. The services are always great! Highly recommened!

Ordered a Veg Biryani, the food was ok not spicy could have been better. As the price was 9.5€ they didn't accept card as they are accepted only 10€ and above, just to pay by card had to order more things 😬. As I was not from Italy didn't have much cash to spare even after some request they denied to pay by card for 9.5€ (even if it's 50 cents lesser than 10€).

Enjoyed the vegetarian dishes, highlight was Masala Chai. Dishes are small portions, service was fast and excellent

We came here on our way through Florence and I must say that it was the best food I had in all of Italy. The Chicken Tikka Marsala and Aloo Gobi were incredible and upon meeting the manager, his kindness solidified my desire to come back next time I am in Italy. A must come!!

We went to Haveli for food tasting prior to our upcoming wedding and all I can say is Wow, Great service from Giotti and his team! They provided us with a whole host of dishes to try out and these were amazing. Each dish had its own unique taste, and you could tell that the chefs put their all into the dishes! We were treated to a feast and can’t wait to try it again at the wedding!

After enjoying Italian cuisine for many days, my kids were craving Indian food, and we enjoyed our time at Haveli so much that we ended up eating here two days in a row. The owners were terrific, and we had an opportunity to speak with the lady of the house who took excellent care of us(my apologies, I can't remember the name now). This place gets bustling and usually requires a reservation. We didn't know and just showed up and were grateful that the owners made accommodations for us. We tried many dishes, and everything was terrific. I would like to give a special mention to the paneer dishes. It was the most tender and tasty paneer I have had in a long time. They have a wide selection of wine from the region at a very reasonable price. Overall, it is a perfect place. Highly recommended!

Even though we had made the wrong reservation, we were welcomed very well by the staff. The place is very well kept, the staff very kind, attentive and never intrusive. Delicious and high quality dishes. Fair price. We will definitely be back and highly recommended!!
