Best dinner we had in Italy! Outstanding service, food and wine. I saw the review of 4.8 and was surprised by an even better experience. The waiters are very kind and helped me to choose the food. I ordered the "3 experience" for starter and it was amazing! Their 36 months parmesan with aged balsamic is incredible, also great ham, salami, olive oil and bread. No critics to make. Main course we shared a pork with baked potatoes and a truffled cheese sauce, didn't want the experience to end.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! My wife and I had the Tagliere Misto Salumi E Formaggi, the spinach ravioli cacio e Pepe, and a panna cotta dessert. Everything met and exceeded our expectations!

Must eat restaurant in Italy. True farm to table in an amazing cellar! The pasta is great and the pork loin with reggiano was the best! Caprese was only thing about the meal average.

In our quest for a restaurant, we stumbled upon this gem in the afternoon and made a spontaneous reservation for the evening. It was one of the few restaurants that still had enough available seats for the night, and we even had the option to dine outdoors—an enjoyable and tranquil spot right in the heart of the city. The service was commendable, and our waiter consistently delivered witty remarks, not just at our table but at others as well. The food was good, though it didn't quite reach the level of a taste explosion we might expect from a place with a 4.7 rating. Additionally, it could have been served a bit warmer. Overall, it's a dependable, decent restaurant with fair prices.

All I can say is Wow! Wonderful dinner and the service was excellent! Thank you Lorenzo and the other gentleman (I’m so sorry to have forgotten your name!) both were so helpful and nice! We had the meat and cheese platter which just started the night - pork loin with balsamic was excellent! Pork loin with truffle cream and my boys enjoyed their pasta dishes! Wine and limoncello to top it off. We couldn’t t have asked for a better evening. Can’t wait to come back again on our next visit!

Randomly picked this place after getting into Florence late last night. The atmosphere was amazing. Our waiter was very nice and informative about the owners farm and how everything was made from scratch. The pasta was some of the best pasta I can remember having, the meat and cheese was extremely fresh. The service was great considering they only have a couple of staff members. I highly recommend checking out this place and definitely try the honey!

***** YOU MUST COME HERE WHEN YOU ARE IN FLORENCE One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Must try their carbonara when it's available. The customer service was amazing. The staff was friendly and you can tell that they love serving their dishes to the world. Ingredients are the best you can get and the price was super affordable.

We thoroughly enjoyed this farm to table restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious. In particular, the pear with pecorino cheese antipasti was both a work of art and so delicious. Our servers were knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. This was a top restaurant for us during our ten day stay in beautiful Firenze.Highly recommend.

Had to dine solo unexpectedly but had a lovely dinner here. The ravioli in parmigiano reggiano was amazing.

Wow this place is incredible. Everything in this shop is sourced from a local family farm in Reggio Emilia. IT'S SO GOOD. The meats and cheeses are top quality. I was solo traveling and I got the charcuterie platter. Included with my meal was a little board with a sampler plate (which convinced me to get the whole board to myself). The salame is the best imo. The waters were so kind and friendly!

This place is amazing. An absolute must visit in Florence. The meat and cheese is out of this world. They understand how to use (but not abuse) truffles. Maybe the best restaurant in Italy, and a really cool location as well.

Charming, delicious and the most hospitable waiters. We immensely enjoyed our first meal in Firenze here. From the lovely cellar seating, excellent wine and mixed antipasti board, to panna cotta with balsamic reduction recommended to us for dessert. Farm to table at its finest.

This was by far the best meal and dining experience I had while in Florence. I’ll start by the most surprising and positive point. The service was amazing (thank you, Jean Pierre!). Really friendly and helpful, it was definitely the best experience in Florence. The food was delicious. I had a tasty Pinsa (first time I tried one and simply loved it), together with a great wine and ended up with a delicious Panna Cotta. I dined in the basement, but the atmosphere was really nice. The room had a cozy and spacious. The food quality is outstanding and together with the excellent service, makes it for me, one of the “must visit” if you are in Florence. If I ever come back to Florence, I’ll definitely return! It is located in a quiet street but not far away from the main touristic areas. Overall, I strongly (strongly!) recommend eating at this restaurant!

Wonderful experience, did not feel at all like a tourist trap. Owner was thoughtful and while suggesting another wine was not pushy but explained fully why he was suggesting it. We had a great experience. Trust the servers in what they suggest, you won't go wrong.

Luca (I’m not sure the spelling), who welcomed us as we arrived early and just as they were opening for Tuesday evening, is the hardest working man in Firenze (Florence to the English-speaking world). He was exuberant, patient, knowledgeable to the n’th degree. It was a fantastic and delicious experience, from the farm-to-table charcuterie boards for which my foodie wife tells me they are most famous, to the pinse (specially prepared flatbread w/a wide variety of toppings), to the house wine and walnut liquor at our meal’s end. Our large raucous party will doubtless be remembered for one of our loud, brash, ugly American party toward which our quiet European neighboring tables were constantly turning to gaze at in amazement and scorn. We nonetheless stumbled back up the stairs having fully loved the experience. Grazia mile e Luca!

Short review: The No. 1 place you should eat in Florence! Long review: This was our last dinner in Florence and was by far our favorite meal we’ve had. We’ve tried all the top-rated places and enjoyed many of them, but this tops the list. The menu offers a selection of Italian classics as well as unique options. If you are visiting Florence, this would be a wonderful place to get some classic Italian dishes as well as some unique dishes you can’t get anywhere else. Beautiful restaurant and the inside was cool even in 95 degree heat, very warm and friendly service, the staff were friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the food and answered all of our questions. That alone would have made the experience very nice but then we get to the food… we had the meat and cheese board which was incredible (all of the individual elements were delicious, but paired together made everything even better) as well as the Pinse David. Both were large enough portions for me and my husband to share. The pinse was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. The pairing of flavors and the texture of the dough were outstanding. We both enjoyed delicious glasses of wine and two bottles of sparkling water and the check came to only 55€! If we could go back and do it again, we would eat here every night and sample more of their incredible menu! Good food was the top priority of my husband and I on our trip and (if it wasn’t already clear) I cannot recommend this place strongly enough! Grazie mille!

🫤 This place offers continental breakfasts. Unfortunately, the Italians do not fully understand what they are.
