More expensive than described, but food was great. The set meals were anywhere between €25 to €40, but the portions were huge. The service was the main reason why I gave 5 stars however, the waiter that served us was really nice and friendly. And they mistakenly overcooked one of our steak, after we told them about it they immediately cancelled it off the bill, big respect for that!

Busy restaurant. Good food, good service and fair prices. Kid friendly with plenty of choice on the menu. Would definitely recommend. We were in Florence for only 3 nights, and we ate here twice. They have set deals. Leonardo our waiter was very friendly and kind. Didn't reserve but we got to the restaurant just before 7pm and were seated straight away.

There is great value to be had here. I got the Toscano, which was a 4 course meal. I felt like I got to try a lot of Tuscan food with this. It seems I'm not a big fan of Florentine steak, but I like their thick soups and pasta. Can't go wrong with a Tiramisu for dessert as well.

30mins wait on weekend 2:30pm Very generous portion of food. 14 euros for one main course, second course and water and wine. Very very cheap option in Florence, not bad food. Worth the wait.

Great food, friendly staff and great location! The prices are also very reasonable! Be wary though and make sure to make a reservation in advance to secure a spot and avoid waiting too long. It tends to get full pretty.

Delicious meals and great prices. I found the place on google maps and wanted to check if the opinions are justified. Yes they are. The place was full of locals and tourists and you could feel that it is not an ordinary restaurant. The waiter showed us our place. It was cool inside but you could expect a bit chiller temperature. The staff were everywhere as people were coming in and out. Much appreciation for it. Still they had everything under control and the food was appearing without much waiting. Everything was delicious, of high quality but reasonable price, home wine was very tasty. If i am next time in Firenze i would definitely come back again to check out some other dishes. Come by and check it yourselfves.

Easily the best ostaria in Florence. Located not far from the main tourist attraction. Menu price range from 11 to 12 € with fresh aqua, wine and 2 plates. Meals are excessively good, menu changes everyday. There is a queue outside due to the popularity of the restaurant but I've never waited more than 15minutes.

Great local spot, definitely recommended! Pizza looked good for a very good price. Especially if for take away. We got a whole menu for 30-35€. A lot of good food. Finally a place in Florence, which is not overcrowded with tourists.

Nice food and good service. The waiter took our name and called when the table was ready (accurate wait time provided). Lots to choose from and the set menu with the steak Fiorentina was very popular and photo worthy. The waiter was chatty and interesting and very attentive until the end of service. Unfortunately they had run out of our dessert choice but it was a nice meal in a lively Osteria.

Osteria dei Centopoveri is a hidden gem in Florence offering incredible value with their 14 euro per person menus. The meals are not only delicious but also remarkably generous. We wanted to stop for lunch and eat something nice and authentic and we came across this place. We liked it there, it's busy but the food is good. The staff is also nice which always helps. We ordered some pizza and pasta and were both really nice and it didn't break the bank either. It's not expensive. If you want to stop for a good meal go ahead and visit the place.

On our first night Dec 27, We were referred to Ostaria dei Centopveri by a nice waiter at La Spada for good pizza. We walked in on December 28, 2023; put our name Henry for 4 on the list. We got seated 20 minutes later and the fun experience began. The food was delicious and our waiter was so funny and attentive. I ordered the Toscana set menu of 38 euros (Very good value), my husband had the best spaghetti Vongole, our sons had pizzas. The price is reasonable. We came back on December 30 but this time we could not get a table without reservations. The man in front was kind and friendly said “you like it why didn’t you make reservation! Now we are fully booked and we are close Dec 31 & Jan 1.” We were so disappointed because we have to fly out back to California on Jan 2. We will be back to Firenze in a couple of years and will definitely make reservations at Ostaria dei Centopoveri.

Amazing food, obviously the service is not that great because it is a very busy place. It's definitely a place to pop in, highly recommended!!! We back the following day for our last lunch in Firenze.

Amazing restaurant with absolutely delicious food! We came back here three times over a few days.. First day dinner we tried their Vongole and 3 other chef recommendations. All were good! Second day lunch was a superb deal. A pasta, with a second course along with a glass of wine n water for 12 Euros. Wow! Last day came back for their Tuscan steak, way better than the Florentiene steak we had somewhere else.. Recommended this place right away to all our friends and a group who happen to be in Florence is on their way tomorrow! We will definitely be back one day. Thanks Brother

I went there for my birthday a few days ago and it was absolutely perfect. Excellent food (we ordered the bistecca alla fiorentina kilo for two), amazing service (shout out to our favourite Albanian!), wine, desserts, everything was exactly what we could've wished for, all for a great price. Highly recommend! ♥

Great Ostaria in Florence. Simple yet cute restaurant with cosy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and efficient. The menu has plenty of delicious Italian dishes and desserts to choose from, which indeed are good quality products at a fair price. In the "coperto" you also have bread and water included, a great deal difficult to find in other restaurants around the city. 100% recommended!!

Wonderful food. Wonderful value.Food of a much higher quality than one of the restaurants recommended on Trip Advisor that I ate at on my first night here and half the price. Extra bonus =Friendly and speedy waiters. Shame I only found it on my last day here otherwise I would have lunched here all week and gone through their menu!😀

We liked this place so much, we went twice in our week stay in Firenze. Reasonably priced, friendly service, and all the food was just delicious! The atmosphere was lively and fun.

Great place, always busy, welcoming staff. They offered us a drink while we waiting for a table even we didn’t have booking. Really cheap and good food. Delicious four cheese gnocchi we had with roasted potato and a pizza Not the best pizza base you can have in Italy, but the pizza still good quality ingredients, spicy and tasty homemade chilli oil you can ask for if you like chilli. Don’t forget to get good bottle of Tuscany wine

Food was above average, and it was very worth it for its price. Paid Eur 11 for a 2 course meal which also includes wine and water. Waiter is able to speak English and they are friendly.

Simply the best place I’ve ever been to when coming to Florence. Delicious food, excellent presentation of dishes and very friendly service. Ah, and cheesecake dessert is a must to try (I ate it that fast that forgot to take a pic!) Highly recommended!

This restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb host and it was down the street from where we stayed. The food was absolutely delicious and we ended up going back a second time. Call and make a reservation beforehand because it does tend to pack. The price was also very cheap! There were four of us. We had appetizers, house wine, 4 main courses and deserts and the price was less than 100 euros! I will be dreaming about their cheesecake! It was so light and the berries complimented it well. The mushroom sauce was excellent! The risotto with prawns was also yummy if you’re tired of pasta and pizza! We traveled all over Italy and this was the best meal!
