I could eat here four times in one day…and I have before and will again! This restaurant is truly one of my happy places. I’ve never had a bad item here whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or cocktails. Service is also incredible. I received the same level of attentiveness and care for a €3 espresso order as for a €300 elaborate dinner. Cocktails are also excellent. Definitely take a look at their specialty cocktails

There's no doubt this place is visually stunning. On looks and ambience alone, this place could get 5 stars. The music is pleasant, the furniture is aesthetic and comfortable, and there's an overall upscale feel - which you pay for in the food, but neither quality nor quantity. I ordered a smoothie and I've never seen someone put ice cubes in a smoothie before. It seems like a way to short how much they actually give you. The smoothie itself tasted like water with a couple of blended berries. I was really surprised based on the menu description. The banana bread was dry with little flavor. Another example of shorting you on portions despite the hefty price. This may sound critical but what's the point of having such a nice place if it doesn't offer anything good? Feels more like a money trap in that case.

Such a cool experience to have breakfast in such a beautiful store. The only downside is that it’s low staffed- it takes ages for a waiter to notice you. The space is large and they only had 2 waiters working- we had to get up twice to ask for something mid meal. However, the food was great, and we really enjoyed our time

Very nice and cosy cafe bar, amazing interior design and multiple dining halls for different occasions! This time we enjoyed a very good macchiato and yogurt with cereals and red fruits as well as a cheesecake! The service was friendly and the place so beautiful for a relaxing drink! This place has its own character translating the oldest Italian architectural building elements into a modern, beautiful and minimalistic design.

The food was tasty and the building was beautiful and old. However, the food was also very basic: small portions, with a few ingredients. It is something I would expect at a highway bistro, but for a much higher price (12 euro for one piece of toast, a few slices of bacon, a bit of scrambled egg and a vanishingly small topping of cheese). The service was basic too. We were served a glass which was still wet, and had to ask for salt and pepper. I also didn't feel welcome at the restaurant - it was as if I was in the way. Paying can't be done at the table - instead you must find the right place on the right counter in the right room in order to pay for your food. The worst part is the hidden cost. I had to pay 5 euro extra to have lunch there, because I visited before noon. The added cost appears on the menu, but with small text, and the purpose of the extra cost is not clear. Therefore, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A lovely setting that didn’t match the food or the menu…being our first time we wanted to take our time and explore the menu. We tried booking online but unsuccessful so we took a chance and showed up to a very empty restaurant. We went to sit down and we were asked if we had a reservation which we replied did we need one as we had tried but the online system wasn’t working. We were then asked if we were having lunch as we could only sit in the section if we were eating. At this point we had not even seen the menu so we simply replied we are not sure and could we please see the menu…. Fast forward we are finally permitted to sit down. We decide to start with a tea and dessert to see if the service and food improve as to this point three separate people asked us if we were eating and that we the restaurant that is nearly empty is reserved for those with reservations…insert they also didn’t have any current reservations at this time?.. so the Americano comes with an unusual flavour, the water for herbal tea is lukewarm so it can’t steep and I basically have purple water. When I can finally get the attention of a staff member I explain the water I have for the tea is lukewarm and unable to steep the tea… the waiter leaves and returns with a large pot of water and no new tea bag so still unable to steep the 6 euro tea I just purchased… then we have the dried out tart stuffed with jam however labeled as a fresh fruit tart… so at this point we asked for the bill and left. Lots of potential but if you are going to have such ambiance it would be amazing to match the culinary skills and price points.

Must visit place in Florence, very good coffee, lunch and seating, perfect as a remote work place. The place is beautiful with lots of attention to details.

We decided to come here for drinks early one evening in Florence Italy. Beautiful Bistro with excellent drinks accompanied by complimentary appetizers if you come at the right time. We were just walking by this place and said hey let’s go in here for some drinks. Ended up having a great time. Drink, eat, and be merry 🥂

We went here for lunch, and overall it was quite nice. Food was decent, but not amazing. Beer and wine were quite nice. The decor and ambiance are of course amazing, and you are paying for it. Little touches like fresh flowers on every table are not free. Service was stellar. So of course, come for the experience, but just recognize it is priced as an experience. Of the dishes we tried the gnudi and ratatouille were both delicious. The former actually being one of the better truffle dishes we’ve had in Italy to date (we mostly have been underwhelmed). I would rate the food actually a bit higher, but in consideration of the price, it is what it is.

Very cute bar / boutique / flower shop! They are wonderfully decorated for the holidays. They have a wonderful little gift shop & florist there as well. The cocktails were great & good selection of different drinks. My husband got a Japanese whiskey & I had gotten a whiskey sour which was yummy. Our friends had gotten 2 other signature drinks which they both enjoyed. Staff was helpful in suggesting drinks!

On a Saturday evening 6pm, the waiting time to be seated inside doesn't exceed 10min. The place is charming and the drinks come with sides. If you like vermouth, I recommend the Ferrari & Mary for 16 euros.

Very pretty and relaxing place. There are flowers everywhere, which really enhance the decor and make the place stand out. Their selection of tapas is unusual yet tasty and creative. Prices are on the steep end.

The best customer service in all of Europe! The food was amazing, great vibes, great drinks. One of the waiters accidentally spilled our drink near us, but it was really no problem at all. They said because this happened they would cover our whole lunch. WOW! We didn’t not want to accept that, but they refused. Thank you for such a great lunch experience during the busy season! Also, I recommend the St.Germain Spritz. It was so good!

managed to eat here without a reservation by chance on a Sunday night in Florence. obviously brought in by how beautiful it is! pricing was a bit high but we hoped it would live up. it was the first pasta I didn’t like.. maybe in my whole life?! And I am Italian American. nettle ravioli, super bitter sauce. The cheese plates were minimal for 21€ (and we were in Paris the week before!), a bit funky but fine. The crudo with mango granita was AMAZING! fresh bread & local butter also amazing. So the meal had it’s moments. probably better to just go for drinks & a fancy bite. 10/10 for design + ambiance, no question! florist making bouquets while you eat is a fun experience & the space is really memorable.

Had dinner at La Menagere and had an absolutely incredible experience. Food was exquisite. Service was really good, with our waitress, Nadia, who was extremely attentive. The place itself is unique and worthit by itself. I highly recommend to walk around every single space, you’ll feel you are at a restaurant-art gallery-botanic garden-library all at once.

The food is tasty, and the ambiance adds to the overall experience. However, it doesn’t quite match the appearance in the photos, so manage your expectations. Given the abundance of affordable options in Florence, I might explore other places for better value, especially with limited days in the city. If you decide to go anyhow, take a good tip from me: the toilet door opens by dragging it to the side.

I was expecting way worse for a few reasons. Obviously the price on food was high, and looking for restaurants with 4.5 or higher, this didn't show up for me. However my girlfriend wanted to go here last time we were in Florence, and it was our last night here, and decided to give it a try. They were nice enough to give us a seat although it wasn't even a quarter full, and reading reviews about being turned away, we were sitting at a huge table by ourselves. I was totally expecting the food to be mediocre and tiny portions, but I can't complain because it was decent compared to our lunch earlier at a small eatery that was rated much higher (4.8). The food we had for lunch at the 4.8 place could be described as disgusting compared to this restaurant. The salmon and gnudi we had was good enough that I would happily order it again. Not perfect, but compared to the other much less expensive restaurants we tried it was certainly better tasting. Salmon could have been a little less spicy and a tad bit less cooked... but still very good nonetheless. The service was "meh" at best. Seems the waiters like to disappear into a black hole somewhere, I can't recall them even checking on us even once. But at least they acted like they somewhat cared about us for the split seconds we saw them. They didn't rush us out, which was nice, but after asking for the check and giving it to me, they never came back. After about 10 minutes I had to get up and find someone to take my card. I love the flowers and decorations. The lack of a waiter didn't bother me because I just sat there taking pictures of the small bouquet in front of us. Overall the experience was memorable, food was better than much higher rated restaurants in the area, and we didn't feel rushed or pressured. I think the good things overshadowed the bad things and I would come back here again, although there seems to be a very fine line in between the good and bad, according to the low reviews I've read. Oh yeah, and the bread was surprisingly better than almost every other place in Italy we ate at! Super crispy outside and super soft inside. Butter was great! Bread could have been served warm... but not complaining!

Gorgeous environment and service, pleasant background music and just delicious food and coffee. Everything very well done and plates appearances are amazing. Really recommended as a must have experience in Firenze.

I’ve been coming here for years and hadn’t been back since the recent renovations. Still as beautiful as ever. Hostess was wonderful and so friendly. Unfortunately, I believe the quality of the food and coffee is no longer there. It is one of the most expensive places to eat for breakfast and coffee in Florence and it just wasn’t that good. Great place to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere maybe for a coffee and drink but for quality food and service this isn’t it.

We went here for breakfast, we ordered two cappuccinos and two croissants, coffee here is more expensive than in other bars but it doesn't seem to taste different. Unfortunately we didn't try any other food. The place is very beautiful with a pleasant atmosphere and good music, I wanted to sit there longer, but we were in a hurry. The design is certainly beautiful and I have not seen many similar places here in Florence. This is one of my favorite restaurants, if I come to Florence I will definitely go there again to try other dishes.

The place is charming, it’s full of flowers and the dishes are really good. A little bit expensive compared to other places but totally worth it. I’ve gone a few times and I’ve ordered the Delia salad and the salmon baguette and they were awesome.

This exquisitely decorated restaurant serves up a fancy breakfast. However, prices are steep for the amount you get on the plate. Maybe they source the finest ingredients for their toast toppings, but even so, it is a modest amount of food for the price of dinner. Nonetheless, I can’t deny that the food was delicious.

La Menagere was a fun and unique experience. The restaurant itself was probably the nicest/most beautiful restaurant we had been to in Italy. The food itself was non-traditional and creative. The service was good as well. A great spot if you're looking to give yourself a break from the more traditional Italian food. We did a prefixed menu which was all beautifully plated and delicious.

I love this place and everything about it. It’s a mix of a shop, bakery, restaurant, flowers shop and music all under the glass ceiling. Food was delicious. I’d love to go for dinner there when they have musicians in.

We came here specifically for the Champagne Time (available Thursday & Friday from 3:30pm - 5:30pm by reservation only). The price is 80 euros for 2 people, and includes a bottle of champagne and a 3-tiered afternoon tea platter (scones, finger sandwiches, and sweets). The bistrot itself is beautiful. While the music felt a little loud, the ambience and decor were chic and elegant. Sadly we did not enjoy the food included in the Champagne Time. The finger sandwiches were bland and uninspiring, and the scones overly dense and dry. The sweets were okay but nothing exceptional. Thankfully the bottle of champagne was good. Service was attentive and swift in refilling our glasses. Perhaps they have better items for the other meal times...

I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. I ordered the vegan burger – glad I did. I read a review where someone said it was the best vegan burger they’ve ever had… I can attest to that. Im an American, so yes… that was the best vegan burger I’ve ever had. La Ménagère even went above and beyond and allowed me to order a delicious cinnamon roll outside of breakfast hours. The cinnamon roll was awesome as my taste buds danced in harmony. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. The music choice was great. The food was SUPER great! I definitely recommend La Ménsgère to anyone who’s reading this. You won’t regret it. Two enthusiastic thumbs way up!

Really beautiful restaurant and bar. We stopped by for a drink and some light bites outside and loved it. Would definitely return for dinner to experience the setting inside.

Superior dining experience in an airy, beautiful space. I had to admit I hesitated before coming here as some other recently posted menus looked uninspiring. I was very wrong - lots of interesting, very well crafted food and cocktail options. Had a great night!

We went there for a cup of cappuccino but the restaurant was so welcoming, spacious and beautifully designed that we decided to eat. You feel like sitting in five star hotel restaurant. The food was so delicious and the service was good.

The interior and the atmosphere looks very nice. They have nice books for sell as well. However the food was a little bit poor. We ordered the breakfast set, the pancake had barely syrup on it. The menu is not flexible. We don’t drink black coffee, only with milk. In this case we couldn’t change the Americano in the set menu to a latte and had to order one extra. A little bit dissapointed. Also it is a little bit overpriced.

Very poor service. We ordered a few drinks, pancakes and a croissant. The croissant never made it out and we flagged our waiter down after a 10 minute wait from receiving our pancakes. He not only didn’t acknowledge it but never came back. A bus boy however came over and asked if we needed anything and he informed us they were out but he brought over a second option which we politely declined. That bus boy was a great guy, the waiter on the other hand classless and not professional. Utter disappointment after being excited for the ambiance and experience.
