4.5 ⭐️- so good I had to get another one next day The reviews don’t lie. Though their best seller, the lampredotto (tripe/cow stomach) sandwich, is not for the picky eater…there is a reason why there is a line despite having other stalls nearby selling the same thing. Their bollito (boiled beef) would be a good option for the not so adventurous eater. Make sure to add some chilli sauce and extra green sauce.

A lot of travel Youtubers spoke highly of this place inside the Piazza Mercato Centrale, but to be honest it pretty meh. People wait in line for 20 minutes to eat here for something you could get for free at Pelican Bay State Prison.

Awesome spot for foodies in the market. We went early right before noon to avoid the lunch time rush and didn't have to wait in line at all. The staff was very friendly. We couldn't decide between what seemed like their two signature dishes, so opted to have a mixed sandwich with both lampredotto and trippa, which was amazing. The bread is dunked in the braising liquid to make the sandwich perfectly moist, with both meats piled on and then topped with two delicious sauces. Great value for money, would definitely have this on a regular basis. Highly recommended, a must when in Firenze!

We got the panini con porchetta, very delicious with the salsas! Bread was a little hard, so TMJ-ers beware. We didn’t get to try the roast beef one but that seemed to be very popular too. All in all, tasty!

Very nice and meaty bread with beef! Well marinated and cooked. Couple it with the green and spicy sauce for extra kick and it’s perfect. Crowded but they are quick so the wait is bearable. Priced reasonably.

We had soup and beef bun. The roasted beef was quite raw, so it was very chewy, which we didn’t like. Soup is based of chickpeas and mushroom. The olive oil was fresh and balancing with the soup, but the overall soup wasn’t as tasty. We like the food truck outside of the market more (for the beef bun)

In the beginning, I was afraid that I wouldn’t like the taste, so I decided to share with my friends. But the taste is really good so that we all bought 4 more to eat. But the only defect is that the bread is too hard to bite😂

We had a not too bad Panino Al Lampredotto. But their service is not good. If you are a foreigner like me, you have to line up. Many local Italians jumped in directly to order meals in Italian and the boss. When I did the same, the boss asked me to go to the counter to order.

We've ordered 3 dishes, Lampredotto sandwich(meat from beef stomach boiled with vegetable broth), Trippa alla fiorentina(tripe with tomato sauce and some vegetables) and Ragu. If you have never tasted tripe then you can try it here, both Lampredotto and Tripa were delicious. Note if you are from countries where in your local cuisine they are not using tripe or other parts of beef which are served here then it can be challenge for you to eat it. Otherwise you can try it really great experience and probably discovering new flavors. The line sometimes can be long but they are well organised do the service really quick. Prices are satisfying, sometine its hard to find place to sit.

Small market food stall hidden in one of the corners of the market. Highly recommended for quick, cheap comfort food. Instructions weren't super straightforward but basically, you order and pay on the left and depending what you order, you either continue in line and collect your order or you move to the front right side of the stall to collect your sandwhich. There are some seats available, around 6-8 long tables, each with 6-8 seats available. Can get quite busy during peak hours. On our first visit, we ordered the panino al lampredotto. It was super tasty. We had it spicy, and it was just perfect. The bread was soaked with the sauce from the filling, and it was very comforting. On our 2nd visit, we got the same sandwhich as well as the risotto and trippa alla fiorentìna. The risotto was cold and had a very rough beans-like texture to it. I wasn't a fan, but my partner loved it. The trippa all fiorentina didn't look like the photo I saw on google. It was simpler but still very nice! It would've been nice if it came with some bread - maybe it should've, but the lady who served us forgot? I'm not sure.

I went there early to avoid the long line. Well, I was hungry, so I finished the whole boiled beef panini. Was it good?well It was nice but not impressive. So if the long line was there, it wouldn't be worth the time spent standing.

Stopped by for a pork sandwich. Incredible. Super fresh and really tasty! We came early so wasn’t that busy but hear that it gets pretty crowded later on so get there early!!

I had the panini con lampredotto for €5. Recommended by a local. Incredible!! Juicy and flavorful meat. Long queue but it went rather quickly. 👍 👍 👍 They also have an eating area. It’s quite hot inside the central market so do have a cold drink handy 😉

Beef burgers were okay, but unsure if it is worth the long wait. They were out of regular bread, so I got small burgers. I got 5 small burgers to see what the hype was about. They were all okay but not amazing. Also, the people at the market were quite unfriendly, and sometimes felt hostile. Their attitude toward me and other Italian speaking people were noticeably different.

This place does not need to be reviewed, it should be on everyone’s list I suppose. Reach here by 1000, skip the lines and enjoy a hearty flavourful breakfast. 100/100 Loved it, the meat is 🤌🏼

Wow ! This was located in the corner of a local market. Tried the boiled beef sandwich and roast beef sandwich. Both had wonderful flavors but definitely try the boiled beef if the liver (their signature) is too intimidating. Only 9€ for both. Definitely a must visit in Florence

We ordered the Trippa (tripe) and Lampredotto (lining of cow stomach), both were so delicious! We didn't go for the panino so it was just plated and came with bread which we dipped into the scrumptous sauce. The trippa was fragrant with celery, which balanced the tripe taste and made it lighter, more balanced in flavour, it was served with cheese ontop, overall a heavier dish. The lampredotto was cooked with many vegetables, and the sauce was less heavy in general, but both were so delicious and i'd recommend getting both! They embody Tuscan cooking with very simple ingredients but elevated flavours.

Very popular place in town! Great food but you need to be patient because most of the times you have to queue for 20/30minutes before you can order food and the other challenge is to get a free table. They make good pasta and sandwiches. My favorite is the turkey sandwich.

Must have in Florence. Even if you don’t try anything else, this is a must-have! I recommend the all tripe version, not the mixed tripe with beef as tripe was the best. Sauce wise mixed is great, with non spicy green sauce and spicy red sauce. I ordered a second serving without the bread. This dish stroke me with a similarity with Mexican street food. The choice of intestines, the color of sauces, and the tastiness that makes you come for more!

We came before the lunch rush, so we were very lucky with the wait time. There was plenty of seats and the workers were very welcoming and sweet. There was more than enough left over to bring along with us to snack on while we travelled around Florence.

The shop is located at one corner inside the nice market building. We arrive early, so no queue. Service is minimum but efficient. The generous tripe dish (piatto di lampredotto) is good to try but I prefer the Asian ways to cook tripes. The sandwich with pork (panino con porchetta) is nice with yummy pork. The local bread is less good than German brötchen, as my personal taste.

Da Nerbone offers wonderful panini soaked in delicious stock juice and slathered in meats and sauce. We ate here twice on our stay in Florence as we wanted to try as many menu options as possible! It’s clear that Da Nerbone’s mention in Salt Fat Acid Heat and many awards and list mentions has made it a popular place with tourists. We recommend getting there before 10am as the lunch rush seems to begin after that point. Order and pay at the window first and then shuffle along the counter with your tray until you reach the master of panino at the end of the counter, let him know what you’ve ordered and watch the magic happen! Remember your per favore’s and grazie’s and you may win a smile in return but don’t hold out hope because you come here for the meats, not the service. We enjoyed the panini con bollito and panini con porchetta most and had the lamprodotto (tripe) for the culture 🤌 you’ll be offered the option of green sauce and picante sauce and both should be non negotiable!!

I came back after my first visit in 2019. I was somehow let down. It wasn’t as good as I remembered it to be. The texture was good but the flavor was a bit bland. What a pity.

You can tell why this place is so popular. Really lovely staff who despite it being busy, and the language barrier, took the time to help us get a great lunch. The classic local delicacy of panino del lampredotto was perfectly seasoned and freshly made before my eyes.

Absolutely one of the best places where to get the famous Tuscan panini. Be there on time because the queue can be long

I’ve tried one panini con Lampredotto with tomato sauce and one with extra spicy 🌶 Both are so good!

Amazing! The best sandwich/burger in Florence! This place should be on TV! Also, I read several bad reviews about service or even racism. We came here multiple times and saw no evidence of that, the service was great too! Like any good place, you should get there early if you don’t speak Italian or English so you get even better service! Again, the food is amazing—the beef sandwich or the tripe or anything else, it’s all great!

👍👍 You'll always see queues, but they are actually quite fast, so don't stress! They helped us with recommendations.
