Absolutely delicious. I had the osso bucco and my husband had the tripes ( intestines). His family is Italian and he said they were even better than at home! Pro tip : add chili flakes.

Words can’t describe how incredible the experiment was. An AMAZING family trattoria. It was the perfect blend of delicious food, authentic atmosphere, and mostly importantly, amazing service from the staff. I could not recommend this place more. We stayed a bit later speaking with the owners and they were generous enough to gift us a bottle of their own in house wine to take home since we loved it so much! Thank you so much for everything!

Love the wild boar ragu pappardelle here. The squid ink pasta and caramel panna cotta were delicious too. This was the best meal we've had in Italy so far

My fiancé and I went here on the recommendation of a fellow traveller and it lived up to every expectation and then some! The steak was the best steak we have ever had and the service was incredible. The owner made great recommendations and gave us so many drinks and things to try on the house. I wish we had stayed in Florence longer so we could go again!

Small homey restaurant away from the tourists and crowd. Great Tuscan steak, delicious Chianti with astoundingly reasonable price. Tiramisu that tastes just about right. Attentive service. Everything about this restaurant is perfect.

My wife and I loved this restaurant. We had our first dinner here when we arrived in Florence and returned for lunch a few days later. The service, food, and atmosphere were great. The owner, wait staff, and the chef made us feel like family. We ended our stay in Florence with dinner here.

We had such a wonderful experience in this place. I can honestly say this place is perfect in any way. From the very cozy and romantic atmosphere, the servers who are so kind and helpful (to the server with the yelllow shirt- you are so sweet and funny🤩🤩🤩) And of course the food! The mixed cold cuts was the best we had in Italy so far, the wild boar stew and wild boar pasta were amazing and also the house wine was great and reasonably priced. Italian run restaurant close to tourist area. We booked reservations a month before but they didn’t easily have our reservation available but still had a table for us. There was a couple tables like us also they didn’t have but they all got seated. End story, book a reservation and have documentation of it as worth to come eat here. Favorite dish was orecchiette , highly recommend many dishes and to come eat here.

Very intimate and romantic restaurant for dinner. The staff here was friendly and overall, food was reasonably good! Would highly recommend the burrata with truffle, it was so creamy it was melting in my mouth! The squid ink pasta was a little too fishy for my taste but the florentine steak was well prepared.

Me and my friends had a great time! It is a small, cozy restaurant. It's located in a quiet area near the center. One of the best places that I’ve visited in Florence. Service was friendly and quick. I had sliced beef with cheese fondu and the truffle was amazing. Can recommend this dish (on photo is half of the portion). The meat is soft and juicy, really well prepared, and maybe the best meat I’ve tried in Italy. For dessert was a very delicious brownie. Definitely should visit this place to enjoy this atmosphere and food.

Amazing Florentine steak, the meat is soft and juicy. Definitely a must try in this restaurant Love the black ink spaghetti and the service is great. The service staff were very attentive and the pacing for each course were well timed Thank you to the owner and staff for their patience in rushing out the bills for us and taking the time to pack our tiramisu to go as we were rushing off for our train It’s a shame we didn’t get to enjoy our dinner at our own pace. Will definitely come back again!

Real Italian food! Not tourists at all. The staff was very nice and the dish was incredibly delicious. I got a wine recommendation and limoncello for free at the end. Brilliant plate to have dinner!!!

My partner and I have been travelling through Italy (Cinque Terre, Lucca, Rome, Florence) for two weeks and this is easily one of the best meals we've had so far. I was excited to finally try the Florentine style steak and it was absolutely magnificent. My partner had the vegetarian riboleta and it was fantastic as well. The service was the best we've received on our trip. Everyone was so kind and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommended!

My goodness. The food. The service. The atmosphere!! All buonissimo. We were blown away how delicious the steak was. And we couldn’t say say no to the homemade Tiramisu and of course limoncello to finish. We rolled out so content and agreeing one it being our favourite experience in Italy. If you are looking for good food in a casual yet quality establishment with an authentic Italian experience, this is your place. I left here a changed woman. God themself is clearly blessing this restaurant. No one should live or die without eating the food at Il bargello. All other food will now taste like dirt. Alejandro is an angel that suggested the truffle pasta. I will forever be indebted to him. Also, highly suggest the truffle burrata and my husband is currently still crying over his Florentine steak. The only regret you could have in life is not eating here.

The food and company here make you feel like you’re home away from home. Florence steak is DRY AGED beef , aged for 34 days. WOW. Highly recommend getting it medium rare. Also, finishing off the meal with their pistachio mascarpone made from fresh cream makes any foodie’s palate wanting more. Thank you to the staff for an incredible experience! ❤️

Great place. The owner is super friendly and the food is quite delicious. It gets busy so they took a little bit of time to give us the check but the food was truly fantastic.

Outstanding food. Try the Papardelle with wild boar ragu or the steak Florentine. Recommend reservations even though we were able to walk up and get in after an hour.

Cute little restaurant with lovely settings. Staff are soooo nice and cute. Had Pappardella with wild boar ragu and Taglierini butter and season truffle, both are amazinggggg!! Staff-recommended wine to pair with the Pappardella with wild boar ragu was also very wonderful!! Wish I have the stomach to try their steak too… definitely recommended and already want to have another meal there already..!
