Perfect but little bit expensive place. -We waited about 10-15 minutes and Valentina offered us place to seat and champagne while waiting, thanks for that. -Their pasta with mussel was amazing the best one I ever had. -The meat on my plate was tasty too. -You can order minimum 1 kg meat if you want it grilled, keep that in mind. -Pasta with truffle was good too. -Tiramisu was with cream. I also liked that.

I chose Ristorante Paoli for our last dinner in Florence. It was outstanding. From our romantic table to the fabulous desert, this was a memorable dining experience. Our waiter Valentino went above and beyond to make sure we were well satisfied. His warm friendly nature and dedication to service were a refreshing and well meaning. The food was beyond our expectations and as the dining room filled with beautiful people from all over the world, we felt immersed in, “la dolce vita”. If you should be fortunate enough to visit the Renaissance city of Florence, make this restaurant one of your stops.

It is expensive and be careful when they suggest wine - tendence to sell something 100+ euro. Anyway food is very good, and the interiours are AMAZING. Beautiful ceilings and wall paintings. Absolutely worth visiting

AMAZING! Couldn’t be better! We ordered the plate of cheese, polpette, truffle eggs and pasta. Everything was super tasty! The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the good weather sitting outside.

Fantastic! Simple and delicious Tuscan dishes. I wish I could have tried more of them. Started with a bean and pasta soup, then a truffle & potato stuffed pasta, topped off with an enormous T-Bone steak, seasoned and cooked to perfection. A dinner I will soon not forget. Only negative was that the prices were higher than what other reviews indicated. Definitely a bit more expensive depending on choices... but worth every cent.

The oldest Restuarant in Florence. Fine dining, great experience, amazing food, and very welcoming staff! We celebrated a birthday here, it was really nice.

I wanted to checkout T-bone steak in Firenze that I searched over 20 different restaurants and read hundreds of reviews. Paoli seemed like a place where it has a good t-bone steak and other dishes, and following is my experience. I went there with two other companies and we ordered tartare, gnocchi and t-bone steak. Tartare was very fresh and flavorful. Gnocchi was average. I liked everything about the T-bone steak, except too big portions of it were fat, which we couldn’t eat. Overall, the food and the atmosphere were above average. Also, the servers being very attentive had helped us to enjoy the meal.

The place is amazing. Known as the oldest restaurant in Florence, the interior surely is what you'd expect in a good way. Attention was excellent in every way. Food was perfect and price not too bad given the accolade "The oldest restaurant in Florence". You'll have a great time.. waiters are very profesional and friendly.

What an absolutely divine culinary experience at Antico Ristorante Paoli 1827 in Florence! Our table was graced with a feast of flavors, and every dish was a true masterpiece ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! The Bistecca alla Fiorentina “Chianina” was a dream come true. The T-bone cut was generously portioned, perfectly cooked, and remarkably tender – not a hint of gaminess, just pure, succulent meat heaven. The Tagliolino al Tartufo was a fragrant delight, with a truffle-infused aroma that teased the senses. The silky, creamy texture added a luxurious touch without being too heavy – a true pasta perfection for any truffle lover! and can we say more about the generous serving of truffle shavings?! Now, the Pappardelle al sugo di Cinghiale. The wild boar pasta delivered a burst of flavor that felt like a journey into rustic, home-cooked authenticity. The meat, far from gamy, showcased a delightful blend of spices and herbs, making each bite a savory delight. Both pastas achieved that elusive al dente perfection, a testament to the kitchen's commitment to culinary excellence. As for the Sautè di Cozze al vino bianco e Limone, the mussels danced in a delightful symphony of white wine and lemon, offering a taste of the sea with a refreshing twist. The white wine sauce was also a great dip for bread too. Even for a liquify sauce, it was so rich in flavour and it’s slightly thick with no fishyness too. And then there was the pièce de résistance – the Crème brulee. A flawless conclusion to our gastronomic adventure, it was decadently creamy with a subtle hint of citrus, elevating the entire dining experience to a crescendo. The attentive service and warm ambiance complemented the culinary journey perfectly. Antico Ristorante Paoli 1827 isn't just a restaurant; it's a culinary haven that captures the essence of Florence's rich gastronomic heritage. Highly recommend this gem for an unforgettable dining experience that will linger in your memory long after the last bite.

I started visiting this restaurant on my first trip to Italy in 2008. It is beautiful inside, the food was so good i went three more times. Whenever I am back in Florence, always stop by for dinner. But something has definitely changed since my last visit. The service is still fantastic, but i cant say that about the food now. Please dont get me wrong it was good. Just not quite where it was before. I would still recommend you visit. The space is amazing and so is the staff. Everyone was ordering the local steaks and they looked very good. Just too much for me this time. Buon appetito

We put this restaurant on our list for our last night in Florence dinner but ended up going sooner. What a wonderful time we had. Walked up without a reservation and the kind manager gave us one of only two outside tables. Our server, Emanuele, was very friendly and extremely professional. Our food was excellent as was the wine and the spritz. We were so happy to be outside and able to watch the street activity and the customers coming and going. I did not get the manager’s name, but thanks to him and Emanuele, we had a perfect evening at the historic Paoli.

Perfect food, cocktails, everything was super delicious! The staff is super friendly, could advice any local dish or simply provide clarifications. The only thing that was a bit sad is that you need to order at least kilogram of meat if you want steak. Anyways, one of the best places for perfect evening in Florence!

Very expensive but pretty good food. The service was impeccable. We ordered a bottle of wine and several dishes (213 euros). You are really paying for the atmosphere and service. They had multiple servers per table and greeted us with complimentary Prosecco for our honeymoon. Loved the pasta but I did add quite a bit of cheese.

Came here by myself for dinner. Was aiming for the steak but turned out amazed by their pasta(Pappardelle al sugo di Cinghiale). One of the best pastas since my trip to Italy. Couldn’t order T-bone steak for myself because they are sold starting from 1kg. Ended up having beef tenderloin which was nice enough. Spritz was very nice and came with generous volumes. Definitely want to be back for other pastas in the menu.

This place was crazy crazy good. About $100 for their best steak, totally worth it, it’s the local super tall cow. For ~$85 you can get the prix fixe for 2 which has their second best steak and some other great food. Amazing service and interior. Emanuelo was our server. The bathrooms are especially interesting. Chaplin & Puccini both came here

Ate here this evening, with an early reservation. Note: even though their reservation system says you’ll get a discount with an early reservation, you will not. We didn’t even bother asking about it, it wasn’t worth the trouble. The food and atmosphere were fantastic-the service was *AWFUL*. Not even slow, but non-existent. Never received bread, sat for 10-15 minutes before the waiter even came over to take our drink orders. The pasta dishes we had were excellent, would have liked to try more dishes but it was so frustrating trying to get service that we gave up.

The food was amazing, especially the carpaccio and cheese antipasti. I service was great, the waiters really cared about the quality of the food and drink being served. My first course was the seafood risotto which tasted like the mediterranean. It had so much seafood i almost forgot the rice. The highlight was the steak which was absolutely perfect. Will come back.

The food was enjoyable, if a little sparse. We weren't terribly impressed with the side dishes, but if you're going there for the beef, you should be just fine. The decor was lovely, though the atmosphere was a little loud. We don't regret going, but we would probably pick a different restaurant next time.

We arrived at the restaurant at rush hour and we were sited immediately without having a reservation. The interior sets the mood for an excellent Tuscan experience. Their traditional Italian dishes were cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!

The hostess seating people at the restaurant will ignore you if you just stand at the podium. You need to go up and talk to her if you want to find out how long the wait is. Perhaps it's just an Italian thing 🤔. If you're a tourist and this bothers you - its something to note. The papparedelle with wild boar sauce was great. The sliced steak was certainly good, but not the best we've ever had. The wine menu is expensive. The tiramisu was very very good. This restaurant is definitely worth going to.

Amazing food, service, and ambiance. Our hotel recommended we come here on a whim. The steak was cooked perfectly and the pasta was perfect. We made reservations again for 7pm tonight. So good are having it twice in a day. Also that cheesecake was fantastic.

The service and food lived up to the other reviews. I was not blown away in particular by anything but I would consider returning for the carpaccio (or the tartare which we did not try). Service was good, menu was good, wine was good, but as others have noted the wine was one might say ~ristorante temperature~ which is not your typical cellared temperature. Carbonara was good and tasted fresh but the truffled lacked flavor, maybe because it was shaved. Carpaccio was very fresh, nice texture. Flaming crème brûlée was good, if a little under flamed, but good taste to the crème. We did not try the florentine steak because I had it the previous night, but it did look high quality and I would consider getting it on another visit. Great energy in the room, would go for the atmosphere alone. On the other hand, for your euro could likely get similar experience elsewhere.

Came here from the high rating and was fully satisfied. The restaurant decor was beautiful, the staff was attentive, and the food was great. The best tagliolini al tartufo we had in our trip - we ordered it twice!! We ordered 3 desserts and they all tasted so similar (creamy) so would love to see more variety next time

Had a great meal here last night. The food is top. Service could have been a tiny bit better as we were a bit ignored after our water was delivered. But once we ordered everything came quite quickly. The steak Florentine in the photo was the 1.2kg option that came perfectly cooked and cost a bit over 100 euro.
