Antico Noe is a fantastic spot to grab a sandwich and a drink. Located in a busy outdoor seating area, there’s a great casual sit down vibe. I got the Stuffed chicken panino with Salsa rosso, the sauce tastes absolutely delicious, and the combination with the chicken and mushrooms make a great sandwich, at a good price as well. There’s many options too choose from here, and the staff is professional and friendly.

If you are looking for a real taste of Italy this is the place to go. This restaurant will serve you dishes made with real ingredients from the seasons. The food quality is excellent without the fuss and is all about flavours. Get your taste buds ready and your patience will be rewarded.I can not recommend enough.

I was recommended by a guy on the plane on the way to Florence. This place is awesome. Really authentic and delicious Tuscan food. Simple, fresh, high quality ingredients and full of flavour. The atmosphere is rustic and romantic. Warm and friendly. The staff were awesome. Very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The chef who is also the owner was also really nice. Popping out on to the restuarant floor chatting with customers. I can not recommend this place enough if you are in Florence. There is food for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. The wine selection is really good too. Don't miss out on this little gem.

This is the kind of rustic dining experience that can prove elusive when traveling in Italy. The old man who runs the place welcomed us warmly and immediately started bringing out crates of fresh mushrooms, truffles, and zucchini flowers both to show off and to suggest preparations we should try. Pouring himself a glass of wine, he insisted we drink the same. Sure, maybe it’s all a bit put on, but the food here is solid and inexpensive by Florentine standards. Forget about eating too fancy in this country. Many of the best places are the least conspicuous.

I now have another reason to come back to Florence. Amazing food, lovely people and a wonderful setting. The chef coming out from the kitchen to pick fresh veggies off the cart for our meal was definitely a unique experience for me. Delightful experience all the way around.

Authentic place! Open 75 years. Don't expect an English menu. Review is for dinner. Had a great fava bean and cheese starter. Simple and delicious. Then the giant T bone Floretine steak! Come with appetite! Comes to about $80 for this dish but very delicious and only cooked rare. Make reservations. Service is good and atmosphere old cosy

Great panini for €5! Recommended by my local friend, good part is that is not attacted by the tourists! It is kind a hidden place in a tunnel, by avoiding Toscan sun, amazing place to have a quick bite! Loved it very much!!

Was recommended by a friend whilst walking around and we decided to try it out immediately. Safe to say it became the perfect late night meal. The roast beef was nicely cooked and seasoned whilst the combination of steak with balsamic sauce was just perfect. My friend also recommended the steak with mushrooms, will definitely be back to try it! Highly recommend!

A hidden gem that needs to stay hidden since it's so damn good! The restaurant portion is killer and intimate while the sandwich shop is more casual and fast service. Everything is good on the menu and the staff are very nice and welcoming! Best restaurant on a budget in Florence!

It might suit those who prefer American-style flavors, but for those wanting to experience authentic Italian cuisine, I advise looking for other restaurants in Florence.The staff's attitude also came across as self-centered and arrogant, though this may have been influenced by my personal experience, and others might have a different impression.In conclusion, with so many excellent dining options available in Florence, I don't see a compelling reason to visit this particular establishment. Especially for travelers, I strongly recommend exploring other places that offer authentic Florentine cuisine.

Chose this place after reading some reviews. Was very happy with my choice, was looking for a bistecca Fiorentina and was not disappointed. However, be weary the service sizes seem limited- we went at 8pm and were told the smallest available steak was 1.4kg (after we said we were sharing and wanted 1kg). I wonder if this is a way for them to sell more meat. Therefore, spent a bit more than we wanted to (€50/kg) but it was very well executed. Beautiful char with woodfire coals flavour. Fried carciofi were delicious and just how nonna would make them. I imagine many of the other dishes are the same, delicious and homely.

Hidden gem this. We visited la giostra the night before. This,however was much better and half the price. Real rustic, warts and all kinda place, staff were super helpful and attentive. Mushroom pasta was out of this world, as was the truffle steak. Waitres recommended the perfect red, €25. A steal considering its Florence. Was offered plum and chocolate cake as a dessert. Didn't sound too appealing. But, i then devoured it washed down with a coffee. Foodie bliss. The other mushroom dishes looked fantastic. So its a must go for all you grass munchers out there. Fantastic. Really lovely, honest Italian food that’s made from the freshest of ingredients. The cute hand written daily menus are so sweet too. Will definitely go again! It’s also under a beautiful arch which makes for something different.
