The overall experience was good. The food meets expectations. The pear shaped dessert was interesting though... It looks like a pear but it was actually a mousse that tastes like cheese instead.

LOOK AT THE PHOTOS OF THE BISTECA SO OVERCOOKED IT COULDN’T BE CONSUMED There are numerous topics to touch on, but the poorly cooked food, wretched service, and limited wine and cocktail menu should have you consider numerous other restaurants in Florence before taking the chance on Konnubio. We ordered the $130 Bisteca steak, which traditionally comes out rare to medium rare. The filet portion of the steak was not just medium well, but WELL DONE…absolutely no pink meat remained. We attempted to get our waitresses attention for more than 25 minutes, but she ignored us. And when she finally came to our table, she stated that she was not the waitress, even though she took the order and brought our drinks. She then tried to state the person who delivered the food from the kitchen was our waitress. One would then expect that individual to come over to apologize, but she never returned to our table…clearly she was not the waitress, and was just the person delivering the food from the kitchen. The potatoes were over cooked while the remainder of the meal was tasty. Unfortunately, the service was so far under par, and left us with no choice, but to leave this review. We traveled to Siena to have another Bisteca steak, to understand the true meaning of what the Florentine style should be, and was blown away by the difference of what we should’ve expected from this supposed Michelin restaurant. While there are multiple issues we had, limited wine menu, cocktails that simply read, “Rum & Coke” or “Moscow Mule” with a staff that didn’t know how to prepare the drinks. Another thing that blew us away was the tap water in pre-used water bottles that they charged 12euro for. It was clear the bottles were reused as the bottles didn’t even have the tops. The entire experience left us totally unimpressed. We had the pleasure of enjoying numerous other Michelin restaurants during our stay in Italy, such as Enoteca Pinchiorri, Borgo San Jacopo and Osterio le Logge, and Konnubio was easily the worst experience of our entire trip.

Delicious and creative dining, excellent service and cozy ambience. We enjoyed all the ordered dishes and would highly recommend this restaurant.

If you're looking for a restaurant that offers a tasting menu with wine pairing, Konnubio is definitely worth checking out. During my visit, I opted for "The Earth" menu, which consisted of five courses that were all deliciously prepared and paired perfectly with the accompanying wine. The elegant decor of the restaurant creates a warm and refined atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a special occasion or simply a delightful meal.

Nice atmosphere, and good food. Ideal for date night due to atmosphere and wines, or if you want to taste modern Italian cuisine. We did go for the Florentine steak, and it was cooked as we asked so +1 for that. Be mindful with the first courses, as they are a bit complex and not very well described in the menu. Overall a good place but not thrilled with any of the dishes unfortunately. The deserts were tasty but didn’t excite me.

I’ve loved this restaurant before Covid but this time it was quite disappointing with its food quality. Service seemed upgraded but the octopus dish.. it is a very easy dish but I couldn’t get any flavor from two sauces. Octopus itself was tender and good. Side vegetables were also too plain. And the coda fish…the same problem with the main component. Artichoke was very perceivable and nice but fish wasn’t seasoned well. You could do better.

Went here with my boyfriend on a Tuesday night after just walking by the place. It is so beautiful and lovely and well decorated for Christmas. The portion sizes are a bit small, but such is fine dinning. I would come again if it were a birthday or special occasion maybe not for the regular Tuesday night. Honestly not too expensive, dinner for two with a bottle of wine was about ~100€. The food was really creative, enjoyable to eat, and well plated. It did not have any particular Italian flare to it though so if that’s what you’re looking for best to go someplace else.

Good quality food and well presented in a lovely quiet atmosphere. Would like some light music. Food was very good but not any remarkable flavours.

I was lucky to get a table as a walk-in by going as it opened. We opted for The Sea tasting menu and every dish was expertly plated and delicious. Staff was attentive without being overbearing. Overall a wonderful experience

My boyfriend and I were just walking the streets for a place to eat and stumbled in here. Luckily there was a table available without reservation. Not sure if our experience here was just horrible but it was probably one of the worst services I’ve had, for a Michelin star I expected better. We waited probably over 20 mins til a server came and didn’t really feel like they wanted to serve us or acknowledge us. The food we had was ok nothing spectacular. The pasta dish my boyfriend had was on the bottom of the list of pastas we’ve had this Italy trip. I was pretty disappointed.

We spent 2 weeks in Tuscany and ate at multiple michelin-star restaurants but Konnubio was by far our best experience. We had a 6-course menu with 5 different wines and each course was prepared to perfection. The wine accompanied each course brilliantly. The atmosphere was nice, classy but easy going. The staff was friendly and super helpful. If I ever visit Florence again I will make sure to come back. Highly recommended!!

Very good food. Make sure to repeat the order with your waiter - we had a mix up with ours. Atmosphere is rather informal. Do not expect a white table cloth. Staff is friendly. Would not go there for a special occasion, but worth checking out to enrich your dining experience in Florence.

Amazing restaurant in the center of Florence. The service was perfect, with an attention to every little detail. For instance, for the starter, we decided to share it, so it already came in two different plates. The decoration is very pretty and the cuisine is tasty. We received an amuse-bouche to begin and a little digestif to finish. I definitely recommend it to you!

We wanted to like this restaurant more than we did. Overall, the food was good and enjoyed by our table. However, there were technical mistakes that should not be seen in a Michelin starred restaurant. The flavors of both of my dishes were good and had varying textures to add interest to the dish. However, with the cannolo stuffed with celeriac and coffee crumble, it was clear the pastry had gotten soft due to either prolonged exposure to the humid air or the cream in the pastry pipped in during prep too far in advance and was no longer crisp as it should be. The confit duck leg ordered by two at our table had a good flavor balance again but was very dry (almost like overcooked chicken breast), with chestnut having a dry mouthfeel as well, it added to the dryness - the pumpkin cream and red currant tried to save it but couldn’t quite do it. Although I didn’t try it, I did hear good feedback for the foie gras and the rabbit. We were also seated next to a draft which made a couple of our group cold throughout the meal. Staff was pleasant and wine was enjoyed although some of the pours were smaller than expected.

Top Michelin star that had excellent service and friendliest staff. The prices are very descent compared to any Michelin star in New York. They have an excellent wine list that pairs perfectly with the dishes served.

Took the sea menu with wine pairings. It was tasty and interesting! The menu dessert was one of The best desserts I’ve ever tasted! Need to visit again for the beef menu.

My wife and I spent our 30th Anniversary in Italy this past Halloween 2022. We were so excited to go to a Michelin Starred Restaurant for such a momentous occasion. Konnubio didn't disappoint. They greeted us like we were royalty and brought us to our table, which overlooked the restaurant. The entire evening was very special. The service was outstanding, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was romantic. Various people stopped by our table to greet and check on us to make sure we were happy. Our food was creative and presented beautifully. On our dessert bowl, the Chef wrote an Italian word that reflected Best Wishes. Never had that happen before. The experience was amazing and gave us memories to last a lifetime. If you find yourself in Florence Italy, I would highly recommend making a reservation well ahead of time to ensure a seating. You'll love it!!!

A great breakfast provided here with our B&B room nearby, we ate here all 3 mornings we could. Buffet of food, all you want. Scrambled eggs, bacon, cold cuts of ham, salami and cheese, pastries of plain and chocolate croissants, mini muffins, and more, yogurt, fresh fruit, cold cereals, juice, one included prepared coffee drink, more American drip coffee. Arrive early before it gets busy.

Had very high hopes for this restaurant as it was recommended by the Michelin Guide. The staff was great, the interior and decoration very elegant. The concept of the dishes was very creative but the execution was not the best.

Really amazing Italian. The braised veal was one of my favorite dishes I had in the two weeks I was in Italy. Really different flavors but executed perfectly.

Konnubio's Michelin acknowledged menu speaks for itself. The entrées are creative, delicious, and very well presented. The bread platter given at the beginning of the meal had some of the best bread I've ever eaten. The wine menu is well crafted and paired well with dinner. Staff is helpful, friendly, and attentive. I can wait to return!

The lunch menu was decent, we enjoyed the bread and the dessert. Do not recommend the flavors of the garden noodles, it tasted like warm grass.
