😠 Seriously…just skip this place unless you want to spend 110euros for two on a below average meal with mediocre service but a really cool atmosphere. The Florentine Steak was 50% fat and nearly raw in some slices. And, for over 30euro…I expected much better. The vegetable soup tasted like sauerkrau... Definitely skip this one! Overhyped and not the best option out there! Went there for a dinner date with my husband and it was one of worst dinners we’ve had in Florence! The whole dinner costed us 96€ and it was below average. We ordered for me, a mushroom pasta and osso bucco for my husband. Accompanied them with wine and followed by a cheesecake (too small and bland for €10)! The pasta was bad and bland, the bread served seemed stale. Wouldn’t recommend this place and definitely one of the tourist traps!

If one giving less than a star was possible, I would have. We had made a reservation, because just walking in the other day was not possible due to its high popularity. When ordering we got four menu's, one of which in English, the others in Italian. After making our decision our waiter came and served us water. We had to ask if it was possible to get the wine card, which, after grabbing it, dissapointed a lot. The was a wide variety in wines, yet they served them in bottles starting from €60 up and till €1700. Water it was. The food was okay and nothing more than that. My steak was not even warm when served and the pastas were merely okay. The restaurant was very crowded and it seemed to be more than the staff could handle. A big table of extremely loud Americans next to us got most of the available attention and affected the ambiance. Last but not least, the desert came in. Which, all fingers crossed, was my last hope at redeeming my night at this restaurant. I ordered the apple pie, which on its own could not be ruined that much... right? Yet, there you go. The taste of apple was nowhere to be found, and it was served somewhat burned. All and all, I would not recommend this place for the money you are spending. You can have a way better experience for probably half of the money.

Every time in Florence, this is our MUST VISIT place! Of course from must tried : the Florentine steak and their pasta… Reserve in advance, because it gets full very quickly. If you get the 19:30 service arrive a little earlier to avoid the line

We unexpectedly went there with a friend and we’re lucky to have a table! The restaurant has a authentic and rustic style with a lot of vintage decorations (super cute!) the waiter was funny and nice, trying to speak French with us! The pasta were amazing and the wine delicious! A beautiful surprise 🥰🍝

13 Gobbi was some of the best, if not the best, pasta I’ve had in Florence. All 3 pasta dishes we got were incredible with both flavor and texture (rigatoni, wild boar pappardelle, garlic chitarroni)

We had a lovely dinner at Trattoria 13 Gobbi tonight and would highly recommend this as a dinner spot for a night in Florence. We had excellent service from our waiter Massimo, who was kind and attentive. The restaurant was lively with a great ambience and our food was delicious! My husband and I shared the pear salad, Florentine steak with roast potatoes, house wine, and each had dessert. It was not an inexpensive dinner, but we felt it was well worth the price!

The food was yummy . Didn’t feel touristy at all and proper local eats . The Florentina steak was really good .

Food was good, however was told that service was NOT included and was asked to tip. Isn't that covered under cover charge of €4 per pax? Happy to tip but surprised the wait staff asked in this manner as in Italy it's not mandatory to tip.

A must try when you’re visiting Florence! If you want to try the famous Florentine steak this is the place to go. I recommend getting the personal and also the Papadelle with wild boar ragu. Absolutely delicious! For dessert the cheese cake is fantastic. Food was absolutely delicious and service was very warm and attentive.

What a spectacular experience! The featureless street belies what is inside this restaurant. The decor gives you such a sense of place— and remarkably good local food. My eggplant parmigiana was the best I’ve ever had. The blend of cheeses were bright, with just enough edge to the flavors to remind me of a summer sunrise. The eggplant had no bitterness nor was it mushy—just a lovely foil to the excellent cheeses. My partner ordered the wild boar pasta. I’m not much for meat, but ah! the gorgeous flavor of that dish! I was amazed. He also ordered a cut of beef with porcini. He called it “above prime.” We ended the meal with a luscious creamy custard dessert with fresh berries. Fabulous. The clearly professional waitstaff run table service with the efficiency of a naval vessel and the friendliness of neighbors. People wait outside for a table for good reason.

Very crowded and overwhelming, but we were lucky to be seated in a separate smaller room so that was nice! Our waiter was very friendly and kind, and we enjoyed the food! We had the Fiorentina here and it was delicious!

I was recommended to this place by a friend of mine who is a local Florentine. Despite my friend’s recommendation this place was very disappointing. The service was inexcusable as we were largely forgotten about as they seated my party at the back of the house. Our server operated with haste as he seemed bothered by our presence. We were left asking for stuff from the busboy. The food was alright. The pasta was fresh but was nothing spectacular. We got served bread to start with by they did not provide any plates to pour olive oil and balsamic. Overall I would not recommend this place to tourists and/or any people of colour or visible minority. Would give this place a 1 star but that fact that it was recommend by a close friend I gave it 2 stars.

This was a nice local place for a great meal. Be prepared to be up close and personal with your neighbors dining there. They squeeze in as many people as possible. The food is excellent.

We visited a cozy trattoria tucked away in a small alley, bustling with large crowds and seemingly overwhelmed hosts. Unable to secure a walk-in table, we booked for the next night. The place, with its quaint charm, felt cramped and noisy due to limited seating. The menu, offering a local Tuscan flavor, leaned heavily on meat quality, opting for minimal seasoning in sauces. Limited vegetarian options presented a challenge; the vegetarian pasta we tried was notably bland and lacked texture. The pear and pecorino salad agin was bland and didn’t deserve the €13 price tag. The osso buco, while well-prepared, came with a lackluster sauce. The recommended cheesecake, at €10, was disappointingly sweet and dry, overshadowing other dessert choices like tiramisu. This place, despite its popularity, didn't live up to the hype for us, seemingly drawing crowds more for its exclusivity and long lines than for the culinary experience.

Amazing place! Super tradicional Italian. We had great steak, and pasta. They were super friendly and quik! 100% a place to go!

The atmosphere is so lovely, very lively and authentic experience. The food is very good and traditional. We got the wild boar parpadelle, rosemary steak. We got the pear and pecorino salad and that was the weakest dish we ordered. Wine was lovely and service was good, it’s even better if you attempt some Italian.

I had a reservation for my first night in Florence early October. We had the best steak I’ve ever head as well as amazing pasta. When I tipped the waiter he gave us big hugs and thanked us. Best service and food I’ve had. Back in the States now and still missing that steak.

The place is very traditional. There vintage items hanging around everywhere, really cool. The service was fast and professional. The food was really good, extremely tender, so far the best Fiorentina we have had in Florence. We also had their famous pasta, i famosi rigatoni nella zuppiera, which was very good (a bit overcooked ) and reminded me a pasta I used to eat as a kid. I love the idea of the big bowl like you would might have at home. I have suggested this place to all of my friends visiting Florence!

Amazing local gem. Truly authentic place with great pasta. I really liked the vibe here and this was my 2nd visit to this restaurant. Highly recommend the veal with tuna sauce, and the tagliatelle with beef ragu. Service was also attentive and friendly. Really nice and quaint place for lunch or dinner. I'll definitely return on my next trip!

Disappointing for a highly rated and recommended restaurant. Service is slow, aperitif wasn’t served with snacks (isn’t this Italian?). Two stars for food items that are edible but lack of wow factor. Tomato soup is horribly salty and the only item we have not finished in the whole of Italian trip. Highly Not recommended. Don’t chase the queue outside the restaurant.

The steak Florentine was the most delicious steak I have ever had. Very detailed service. Eclectic decor. Intimate seating. Reservations are required. Very recommended. Will go back!

Been to this restaurant twice. It was recommended by a local friend. Although the food is great, the place is quite crowded and even though you have a reservation you might have to wait 15-20 mis to get your table (we went on a weekend to that might be why). But once you have your table the ambiance is nice. My favorite dish is the Rigatoni. A classic and very well done. The waiter was very pleasant and recommended us a bottle of wine. A few minutes later he approached us to tell us the price, just so that we could be aware. I found that to be quite transparent of them. On other restaurants they do not do that. We were happy with our meal and wine. Will recommend.

👍👍 You'll always see queues, but they are actually quite fast, so don't stress! They helped us with recommendations.
