THE BEST pizza in Firenze. If you are reading this, put your phone down and go to this place. I cannot describe in words how good this pizza is. A must for anyone coming to Firenze. It was so good, we had to visit it twice over our 2 days stay in Firenze.

This pizza is in place one on my pizza tier list (shared with another one)! It tastes amazing. Just perfect! Very good sauce and cheese. Very very good! The receptionist in my hotel gave me the recommendation based on the fact that the family who owns the pizzeria comes from Naples where they have since 1870 a pizzeria and they opened a second one in Florence.

Can never go wrong at Michele's. Always the best. So I've been to the original in Naples (which is the famous pizzeria from Eat Pray Love) and been to the one in Rome and in London Marylebone. This one is consistent with the rest, very large pizzas that will leave you stuffed for €8! It's worth noting (from the pic) that the dough was a little too spread which made the pizzas larger but not that much of a complaint as the ingredients are always first class

Pizzeria Da Michele is a great spot for quality staple Italian Dishes. The Arancita is a must have, it looks standard at first but once opened it had so much flavor and quality taste too it, i would’ve ordered more! Additionally the Pizza Fritta was an experience too eat, it’s massive and is well packed. I couldn’t finish it in one sitting, but for what i ate it was delicious. Service here was super quick and friendly, and the outdoor seating is very Chill.

My Italian cousin recommended me to try my first pizza in Italy from this restaurant and instructed me to have the margarita specifically as it would be the best introduction. I’m happy to say the experience did not disappoint and my cousin was totally right as this was probably the best Neapolitan style pizza I’ll taste in a very long time. From the cheese proportions to the size to the flavor, this pizza was a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend to try this for both newcomers and seasoned pizza tasters!

This is possibly the most authentic pizza napoletana in Florence. The pizzas are so big that they hang off the plate. The prices are also incredibly reasonable: the huge margherita pizza was only €7.50.

Beautiful mixed starter - 4 pieces and very filling. Pizza was huge - I’m glad we shared it between 2 of us and we couldn’t finish it. Nice spritz. Cost £45. Good value.

A simple, perfect pizza, every time. Friendly, professional service. Clean bathrooms. Always packed, but they manage to find a free table quickly. Always a pleasure eating here.

We didn't go in person but ordered take out on glovo since we were tired from walking around all day. Amazing prices. Excellent pizza. The toppings some erred on the saltier side but nonetheless great pizza. There are different types of pizza and I enjoy a broad range. The crust here has a nice chew. Around dinner time the night before we saw a small line form outside. if you can't go in person why not take-out in the comfort of your hotel room. Fried pizza is amazing. Not sure if this is authentic Italian. But it's good pizza for me...

Margherita was a 5/5, white pizza sausage and broccoli was a 3/5 - it was quite salty. They only had fried starters, would have loved an insalata mixta with these two massive pizzas. Very affordable - €25.50 for 2 pizzas, 2 bottles of water and a coke zero

Delicious pizza in the centre of the old town. Big portions, fantastic and fresh ingredients, all made with passion. Very nice and helpfull staff. I can highly recommend!

Decent pizza but not that wow, staff were nice but not all of them. Very good prices for the size and taste. Would recommend it

The pizzas are almost as good as the ones in Napoli where this place originally came from. The experience of eating in Michele however is completely different. Good value for the money.

The quality of thr food is amazing, and the pizza was much larger than I expected for only €10! Was a great first stop for dinner while visiting Florence.

We were recommended to try this place and truly, it was outstanding! In Italy you either eat the pizza with knife and fork but you don’t cut it into slices.

Good pizza but not better than a Napolitan pizza you can eat out of Italy. Service is very bad. They brought first my napolitan pizza and when I ate already half they brought the fried pizza, I was asking and they say the fried it takes longer. If takes longer they should make first and later the other one to serve at similar time at least. No sorry nothing. And sit next to the place where waiters are all the time passing by taking the napkins and things. Totally stress of dinner, not enjoying at all. Copperto 2 euros per person!!

This small Pizzaria near the city-center is very charming. The waiters are friendly and joyful. The Pizzas are generously big and taste very nice. Considering that, they are fairly priced. The inside of the restaurant can get a little bit loud when all the tables are taken.
