Gelateria Artigianale Da Angelo

Ice cream shop

👍👍 I'm no professional gelati expert but i am an amateur one ;) and this place has the most interesting and flavourful gelati in the city of gelati! There's creamy pistachio all the way to a sharp ginger or a pumpkin. Definitely a must!! People often mention gelato,

Don't let looks deceive you. This is the best gelato I've had in all Italy and other countries too. Shop is small and there is little seating. I recommend the pistachio flavor and the peanut one.

Incredible flavours, this gelato is the best we've had so far in Florence. Already planning a trip back to try more!

After a bit of research we came here.. Absolutely loved this ice cream! They let you taste something as soon you walk in, plenty of choice and staff is really nice. Proper Italian ice cream, so tasty and smooth. You can find the common flavour or something a bit different. It really worth the walk!

Excellent homemade ice-cream. Tiny place, mostly to take away. We tried pistachio, hazelnut, matcha and ginger - they are all worth to taste

Staff was very friendly. Not as big of a selection of flavors as we were expecting and the gelato seemed a bit less creamy than some of the others in town. Not a bad option, but not our top choice.

I enjoyed this elato very much! It was soft, tasty, not too sweet ... just perfect. They many many variety of flavors! I reccomend salted pistacchio and strawberry. But the others are amazing as well! Everytime i visit Florence, this place is a compulsory stop! ❤️

Two words Flavor EXPLOSION. This is probably the most authentic tasting ice cream I have ever had the honor to taste. Natural ingredients, low on sugar and hand crafted. I had to go back and get a second round. The only downside of it is, every other ice cream will taste mediocre afterwards...

One cone wasn’t enough so this picture is of the second set of flavor pairs we tried. Every single flavor is incredible. I can’t express how good this gelato was - it brought a tear to my eye. It went up to all my previous memories of good ice cream and told them to get out of town, there’s not enough space for the both of them. And mark my words I’ll be back there for more tomorrow. As well as every following time I visit Florence. If you don’t think you have time to visit this place, make the time. The reviews aren’t exaggerating.

Everything about this gelato is excellent. For half the price of the competition you get a far superior product. The owners are a sweet family that clearly care about their gelato and the customer's experience. Highly recommend. This is the best gelato in Florence.
