One of the best gelatos I have ever had. I can't describe in words the taste of it. It is a must try while in Florence. Definetly will come back in the next days to taste other flavours. They have a great variety of flavours so, for sure, you will find at least one you like.

This place is very crowded. There was a queue but it does move fast. Once inside, you have no time to look at the flavours (which are all in Italian), shop is small and you are rushed. No complaints about the flavours/taste. However, there are other gelatarias which are equally good and less crowded. It’s in a heavy tourist traffic area, hence the crowd.

This is definitely of the top geleterias in Florence and I would highly recommend trying it! They have a lot of flavors, we tried about 8 over multiple trips and I can say all of them were amazing in their own ways. My favorite ones were the passion fruit, the fig ricotta, the berries and the salted caramel, you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Definitely try multiple before picking your flavors. It’s crowded during peak times so you might have to way but they are also open until midnight!

There was a big line but it moved pretty quickly. Lots of options to choose from and the quality is pretty good. Fair prices and service is friendly.

Top quality gelato you can find in this place. They have many flavors and you can choose various portions. I recommend taking not more than 2 flavors at a time as the portions are big. If you are brave you can also get a giant sweet pastrt bun filled with gelato in it.

Its a very good ice cream place! Ice cream is creamy and comes in different sizes. Would recommend going for a smaller size as the ice cream is quite filling! Nearby the ice cream shop is the river with many great views!

Delicious and creamy ice cream. We had the pistachio and the salted caramel, the salted caramel was something else. We also had the pistachio with ricotta (the main reason we went) and it was honestly amazing, really different at any other ice creams we’ve had.

We ordered coconut and Mango gelato on a cup for €2,50 and Coffee gelato on a cone for €2,00. All three flavors were really good and actually tasted like mango, coconut, and coffee. The sizes are perfect and the prices are super affordable. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

incredible! there are so many gelato spots in the area but this one truly stands out above the rest. glad I went out of the way to try it. ricotta + fig was incredible! and passion fruit was perfect. (ate it so quick that I forgot to take a picture!)

Gelateria dei Neri has a great selection of ice cream flavors, including fruit ones. The shop has air conditioning and a sitting area. We had the passion fruit and blueberry gelato in a cup. Both flavors were delicious but we preferred the passion fruit for its brightness. We would definitely go back to this ice cream shop in Florence. It is currently our second favorite behind Gelateria La Carraia.

We were recommended this place by others, we walked past several other places and we're tempted to stop but thought keep going. It was worth the walk. We had to wait in line but it moved rather quickly. There are heaps of flavours but all written in italian so you may need assistance for the English translation. Pricing was reasonable and portion sizes ok but the ice cream was absolutely delicious.

We were really exited about it but it was not incredible. Its great but similar flavor as others. I tried Vanilla and pistacho and would like to have an stronger flavor. $3.5 euros mine.

I really enjoyed this gelateria. It was the first one we tried on out trip and they offered a few flavors for a good price. I'd come back to this location.

The best gelato in Florence. We got gelato from here every afternoon except the day it was closed. My favorite was the coco (coconut) and mango. The flavors were so vibrant and fresh. What a refreshing afternoon break! Truly awesome.

Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! We have tried so many gelato spots while in Italy and this ranks up there among the top 3 for us! The line is occasionally long but moves super fast. They have tons of flavor options and sizes too! I would highly recommend this spot for gelato in Italy :)

A beautiful old gelateria at via de neri! Tried the salted caramel and the grapefruit and my friend tried the salted caramel and coco - probably not the best mix of flavors ; but the salted caramel was too sweet for our liking. It’s like eating a caramel candy / it’s too sweet. The grapefruit was way too sour. The coconut on the other hand had this synthetic flavor / I would know what coconut tastes like because i am from the tropics, so def not natural tasting.

We were visiting Florence for one day and we had to choose one place to try gelato and given the popularity of this place , we had to try it. We waited few minutes in line before it was our turn. We tried three different flavors and all of them were amazing. If only I could teleport my self to this place to try their gelato again.
