This is my home away from home. The rooms are uniquely modern yet retain the Firenze charm. The location is fabulous - very close to EVERYTHING! But the cherry on the cake is the staff - from the front desk to the breakfast to the housekeeping. Noteworthy mentions to Irina, Sulaiyman, Stefania, Valentina, Alberto and Tawfiq. They always make me want to come back here and never ever switch to any other hotel. Thanks a lot u guys!

This hotel should be a 3 star, at best, not a 4 star. While the location was great for seeing all the sights and convenient to the train station, the facility itself was very disappointing, run down, and the breakfast was subpar, low quality, food not tasty, and they ran out of basic things like cereal very early in the morning, we were there no later than 7:30 for breakfast and they had run out already. The breakfast staff were not helpful and didn't seem friendly. When we first arrived we noticed the bathroom sink was backing up, not draining well. We did report it and they fixed it the same day. There was also a chip in the rim to the bathroom sink. Our room was not spacious, with the bed so close to the wall on one side it was awkward getting around it to get into the bed. The bed itself was comfortable. The pillows on the bed were hard and lumpy. Our room was located right next to a service area we had to walk by to get to it where the housekeeping carts were left out and the cleaning staff would hang out to talk. Basically we felt like we were in a janitorial utility area. We travelled throughout Italy for one month and the only place we stayed that was awful and where we will never return is this hotel. We will return to Florence and will definitely stay somewhere else. It was just awful!

Always a pleasure to stay at Hotel Cerretani. They managed a great initiative during world soccer championship in December 2022. A special area in the bar was set-up to see the games. A special customer care from the general manager that I wanted to share with everybody who is searching a nice hotel really well located without forgetting the kind and helpful staff. Enjoy greetings season and see you in 2023.

Service and staff were amazing, nice rooms, delicious breakfast. What’s even more important, a great location! I was there before Covid June 2019

Lovely lovely hotel, will definitely come back to stay when I eventually come back to Florence. A 10 minute walk from the main train station and a stone’s throw away from the Duomo, this has got to be in the best location ever. Beautiful rooms, very comfortable stay and very friendly hotel staff.

A very conveniently located and well managed hotel with comfortable and hygienic accommodation, and very helpful, pleasant and efficient staff. The breakfast is good. It would be better if it provides also toast and peanut butter.

Well this is exactly what you can expect from a MGallery : rooms are great without being too spacious, you sleep well, AC is working perfectly, breakfast is good, everything looks clean, and service is on par with accorhotels standards. All of this for a very fair price. You won't find a great ambiance in the lobby/bar or the charming details of Italy architecture in your room, but you will have a great stay.

We stayed in the Medici Suite in early July 2023. The suite can accommodate 4 people comfortably. The hotel is in the city's heart; guests can easily reach all the world-renowned attractions. All the staff were friendly and responded to our needs promptly. We especially like the cold drink after a long, hot day in Florence.

You cannot get anymore central than this. Fully amenable, great breakfast buffet and staff. My only complaint would be it may have the slowest lifts on the face of the earth but still very nice experience. May be haunted but that’s understandable given the history of the street! ;)

Where do I begin? This hotel provided one of the best experiences we have had on our many stays in Italy. The hotel is very clean and the hotel beds were very comfy. It was our first three generation trip with my daughter and my 5 yr old granddaughter to Italy and your staff made it so special for us. Our accommodations were quite comfortable for the 3 of us. The staff here is over the top in any and all aspects. Even though there was no restaurant in the hotel they provided us w plates and utensils for our takeout dinners before we even asked! The service we received was exceptional!!! So many to mention but loved Stefania, Alberto , Sarah and my 5 yr old granddaughter and Mateo were in love!! LOL This is such a kid friendly hotel! Stefania is such a sweetheart...She made any arrangements we needed during our stay! She also shipped/expedited a backpack we left behind to our next hotel in Rome. We will definitely return to your hotel on our next trip to Florence. Hope to see you again soon! 💖🇭🇺

This hotel saved us from an awful apartment rental. We searched last minute for a hotel and came across this one. It was amazing. We needed two rooms for my husband and I and our two teens. They got us rooms close together and they were the most lovely of rooms. We faced the main street and heard little to no noise. Our kids face a building, but we were never in our rooms so it didn't matter and the lack of noise ensured they slept well. The windows are thick and there are two sets of them so super noise filtering. The room was super clean, the bedding was really nice, the room amenities made it feel like a 5 star hotel. The staff was super friendly as well. Breakfast was yummy and all four of us found something to eat (we eat gluten free). It's less than a five minute walk to major sites and exceptional shopping. I slept so well here and would go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel is located downtown and it´s easy to walk around and find restaurants, bars and also to visit (I think as I was here for business and had no time to do it) I was upgraded as a Diamond member, room is clean and comfy, the bed is great. People wants to help and are very gentle. A good place to stay and visit Firenze

Very good hôtel. Ideal location. No noise coming from outside. Top breakfast. Bar opening till 10pm, Danielle is preparing good cocktails. Reasonnable price. Ultimate beds. Kind staff. Front desk is well managed, I could not mention all as they are numerous but used a lot Alessandro as my concierge and he was very efficient. Several languages spoken. Kindness and efficiency.

The hotel is luxurious and Stefania at the front desk is excellent with service. I had a twin room that was perfect — darkening shades, spacious bathroom and cold air conditioning. It’s a 7-minute walk from Firenze SM Novella train station, 5 minutes to the duomo piazza and 12 minutes to Ponte Vecchio. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location was fantastic. Very close to everything so I cannot fault location, but for the price I don't think it's enough Unfortunately the hotel was not very good. It had poor air conditioning The water pressure was abysmal The lifts seemed super dodgy There was some construction going on around the hotel which made it a little tricky to find.

It was a beautiful hotel the man at the reception I believe Antonio or something along those lines and the women and male who work breakfast were amazing!! The hotel doesn’t offer room service though according to two males at reception. So that’s the main reason to not give the best star rate.

strong odor of sewage in the lobby, dining room, all common areas of the hotel. they have a big jar of room fragrance in the lobby, that makes it even worse. when discussed with the staff, they said they are aware of it, but cannot do anything about it and that several area businesses have the same issue with sewage odor. Not sure that is true. The restaurant staff was very hospitable. Rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities.

Fabulous modern hotel!! I was here for work the past week, and stayed a bit to do the touristy things also. I had taken the airport T2 tram (€1.50 pay by apple pay at kiosk on the platform) to go the 25 min to the terminus, central old Florence (the last stop so you don’t have to worry!). The hotel is on the same street as the T2 stop, just a 5 min walk (maybe more only because of the crowds). I emphasize the tram because there was a taxi strike on the day that I left, meaning if I didn’t have the tram station right there, I would’ve had to pay €75 for the hotel driver to take me. Every front desk staff I talked to were super helpful with taxi, tram, places to see, and they spoke English no problem. The Cerretani is walking distance to all the major sites. It’s new, clean, has a small college fridge and coffee machine in the room. Would highly recommend to others!!

Amazing location! Clean rooms, with nice products. Maybe they could provide more towels as we had to ask twice otherwise I can’t fault it. Will be booking the hotel again. Special thanks to Alessandro for the restaurant recommendations, Valentina and Stephanie for managing our bags, deliveries and for the late check out. Great team and service.

Very nice hotel, was the highlight of our short trip in Florence. Perfect location, we came back to the hotel to have a short break and shower even a nap when we came down from the dome and tower! Sarah at the reception was absolutely helpful, speaking fluent English. They have everything you need for a comfortable stay, even have slippers which is rare in Europe. Everyday 5pm to 7pm, they provide complementary tea/coffee/snacks. Overall, 5 star experience, worth the price, we will definitely come back to stay again!

Amazing Stay in the hotel.. Clean Beautiful Rooms with great service from the friendly staff.. Great Location.. most importantly what will make the stay very memorable is the sweet attentive super friendly staff (Ms. Stefania), she was very helpful and caring assisting us with the transportation needs, information about the city, and ensuring that the room and its amenities is up to our expectations and more..

Overall, an average experience. A few positives: staff were accommodating, complimentary breakfast (was average food overall, but lots of options), complimentary mini-bar as well (proved helpful for water/refreshments, as we did a ton of walking in Florence!) and very good/excellent location - within a 10-20 minute walk of almost all sites we wanted to see. For the negatives, the room was a handicap room, and still pretty small, though the bathroom was quite spacious (we did not need a handicap room this was just what was offered fyi). The bathroom had poor ventilation. I had to prop the door open to air out the bathroom, or else everything was covered in condensation. There were a few things in the bathroom that also needed repaired, did not affect functionality, but unsightly. The bed… oh man. I know everyone sleeps better on different types of mattresses, so please consider this. I prefer a firm mattress - these beds were way too soft, the pillows were fluffy, but almost completely flat when you laid down. The bed frankly offered no support - I had back pain every morning and was so poorly rested during our time in Florence as a result (for context, I am 27 years old and in fairly good shape). If you like a very soft bed, this place is for you! Probably would not return due to my poor sleep - I believe more of a 3-star hotel. If you took the mattress out if the equation, it was of good value overall.
