I stayed at both the branches of this hotel in Florence and it was one of the best experiences I have had. The staff are so amazing and accommodating especially a gentleman called Nic who usually works at reception. On 28th April we went to the bigger branch of this hotel at around noon and the gentleman who checked us in was also just as amazing. The staff from the reception to the kitchen to the cleaners are just so fabulous. The service in this hotel is brilliant. The rooms are clean and and really nice.

Absolutely the worst. It’s in a “good” location where there are a ton of people traffic and the room isn’t soundproof at all. The rooms are the smallest I’ve ever seen. The entire hotel has a sharp pungent smell from a cheap air freshener or cleaner as if they’re trying to cover up old smell of the dated facility. The toilet would’t flush unless you hold onto the button for 30 seconds. It was going to ruin my trip if I had stayed here so I decided to just lose out on the prepaid money and just dip to a different hotel. Please don’t go by the other good reviews and make my mistake.

We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel, friendly staff, clean hotel and rooms, warm inside the rooms despite the freezing weather outside. Only downside is that the wifi is not super strong and our room didn’t have great signal

The staff was lovely, the hotel clean and beautiful, and the air conditioning was the best I have ever experienced in Italy! Suxh a great location as well. The staff was so willing to bend over backwards to make our stay lovely. I definitely will stay here again when I go back to Florence!!

My family and I stayed at the Studio Apartment of Hotel Globus in Florence for 2 nights and 3 days. We were very satisfied! Its location is very good...5 minutes from the train station and another 5 minutes to Santa Maria del Fiore. Though central, it was quiet at the apartment on the 2nd floor. And it was near enough that when it got too hot outside, we could easily go back to the hotel for a siesta in the early afternoon. The buffet breakfast was very good. One had enouch to choose from = light breakfast of fruits, cereals and milk (vegan alternatives too); or heavier breakfast of eggs, sausages, champignons. The apartment itself was really nice, clean and cool. The hotel personnel were very helpful, informative and extremely friendly. Grazie mille, Joseph, Nicola, Mia and Karen!

This place is the friendliest spot in Italy! The rooms are exceptionally clean, and they even gave us complimentary biscuits. They also upgraded our rooms, and the location is absolutely fantastic. You can walk to everything, from laundry and supermarkets to popular tourist attractions. Plus, they offer a complimentary breakfast, quick check-ins, and a 24/7 front desk. If you want a convenient and delightful hotel experience during your trip, this is the place to be!

Great location. I stayed solo for two nights. The hotel is boutique so pretty small with an elevator. It was within walking distance to several restaurants, stores and a short walk to the train coming from the airport. It was nice being able to wake up and walk the town in the morning and at night since everything was close in proximity. Staff was very polite and friendly. The room was okay. I booked a few weeks before my stay so the only room left was for 3 beds. Would have preferred a king size bed lol. It had basic necessities and cleaned after the first night. The breakfast buffet was okay but could have been better. I’m also a healthy eater so I’m picky for the most part. Overall the stay met my needs.

    - Amazing location, super close to all city attractions. - Super friendly staff. Nice gesture at the time we were about to leave (with postcard and cookie) deserves its own part of this review! - very good breakfast with eggs/cheese/ham/bacon/pancakes/pastry/yogurts/fruits/you name it. - extremely slow elevator 🛗 - bad coverage for mobile phone, though I think it’s rather city but hotel issue

The staff was lovely, during ALL the shifts, extremely helpful, sweet, caring, and will try to help you and accommodate to the things they can provide for you. Their recommendations were also super great!!! My whole family felt very welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast was also great! They made our hearts warm multiple times by their service. 😊❤️

Loved staying here. The ladies on the counter were so lovely and knowledgeable. As soon as we settled in they gave us a map and marked out attractions to see. Everything was so close and could walk everywhere. There were 3 of us with large cases and our room had so much space, lots of hanging space as well. The breakfast was great with a nice variety. It was lovely to be greeting in the morning by the staff offering us fresh make cappuccino. Would definitely stay here again. Our last morning we received a beautiful thank you card with biscuits.

We stayed here for three nights while we were exploring Florence over the holidays and really enjoyed our stay. Not only it is in a fantastic location, but the staff was very kind and friendly. We also picked this hotel because breakfast is included and we were really impressed with the quantity and variety of food offered. Cherry on top of the cake for me though is the little note and cantucci they left on our door on our last day, wishing us a happy new year. Such a nice touch they left a smile on my face and made me want to come back!

Great hotel and lovely stay! All the staff were so cheery and kind, rooms were very clean and have everything you need. Location is great as well, just a few steps away from the central market and a short walk to the train station. Totally recommend! Oh and breakfast was a nice spread too.

The rooms are tiny. I got a single room which was fine for the most part however, I found the bed to be super uncomfortable. The bathroom shower is a joke. It's very very tiny and I had to take a shower with the door open to even fit into the shower. The location is perfect and everything is within walking distance. The staff is amazing and nice and I thoroughly enjoyed the free breakfast.

I would give it more than 5 stars if I could! Extremely comfy rooms with excellent amenities. The proximity to historic sites is super. The best part of all was the amazing staff. Knowledgeable, courteous, and in touch with clients. Hubby had a birthday, and we were greeted in the evening with a bottle of bubbly and birthday a card. Classy touch! GABRIELLA was a rock star. Her smile and demeanor made us feel special. Congratulations!

Good value hotel in a convenient location (albeit without much in the way of views). The staff put in great effort to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple but recently renovated and well stocked with the usual conveniences. Solid buffet breakfast. 3 to 4 star level of luxury, but very good value for money.

Best hotel to stay in Florence. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Florence. The one and only feedback is we put do not disturb but the room was still being accessed. But everything was superb! The location is just a short 10min walk from the Firenze SMN Station. It's in the Old Town and just next to Mercato Firenze. We were here on our honeymoon and they gave us a bottle of red wine. What a sweet gesture! And even gave us a small gift for our train ride. Very good breakfast spread and even have porridge for our Asian craving. Every staff carries a smile on their faces. They even have a free drinks night from 6-8.30pm and John the bartender attended to us! We have great conversations and truly enjoyed our stay!! Thank you for the kind hospitality and we will be sharing our experience with our friends back home in Singapore!!

I was pleasantly surprised by Hotel Globus Urban Hotel. This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Italy (and I have traveled extensively through the country and even studied/lived in Florence). It was great for a solo traveler because of the location and moderate price range. A modern hotel in the midst of this Renaissance city. The buffet breakfast was huge with everything (hot eggs, bacon -> nuts) set out buffet-style. Tip: arrive early before families descend to eat! The staff was very pleasant and proficient in English. The hotel is a gem! It’s super modern inside and just a stone’s throw away from the train station and mercato centrale. The room was very smart looking. A huge flat screen TV, very comfortable bed, air-conditioning which was so good! The bathroom was modern and had an enclosed shower. The double paned windows and external shutters kept noise out. They have an adorable enclosed patio with plants on the walls where it is enjoyable for drinking some wine.

This was an amazing hotel with amazing staff! Our stay was great. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. Our hotel room was always clean when we came back from our adventures. The location is in a good spot as it was in the middle of everything. Would stay there again.

My Husband and I were backpacking through Europe and happend to stay at The Globus Urban Hotel and we loved it! From the wonderful kind staff to the clean comfortable room and hotel. The breakfast was very delicious. My favorite thing of all was the personalized thank you gift they gave us , which was a kind note personally thanking us for our stay and wonderful Cantucci Aka Biscotto and a page with the history of Cantucci. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality and great stay. With love always Topete's P.S Best Hotel out of all 6 we stayed at.

Great location, near train and market place. Staff was exceptional. Clean a modern. Our rooms were kinda small but that was what we chose

Actually quite nice. The reception staff was exceptional, very helpful, polite, spoke great English and gave a lot of helpful tips. Room is small as described but is very convenient, has everything and a few more small details that made my stay more comfortable. It was also quiet, the room windows turn down the noise from the street quite well. The view was amazing

Excellent location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are well-decorated with very nice views of Firenze. I highly recommend this lovely hotel and will definitely be staying at Hotel Globus when I next visit Firenze.

The globus hotel is the perfect place to stay for your trip to Florence. We stayed here for our honeymoon. The staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND. So many personal touches, we were so touched! The hotel is super clean, and the breakfast in the morning was superb. We would definitely stay here again!

Aurora at the front desk was super helpful, knowledgeable and attentive! Very friendly and gave us tons of recommendations. The location was awesome, super close to the train station and the center of town. The breakfast was great, a lot of options. The only downside was the room. The toilet wouldn’t flush correctly, one of the beds in our rooms was way too hard and the temperature in the room can’t be controlled by guests so it got very hot at night.
