The hotel is very very nice has a gorgeous garden with very old trees and with century olive trees. It is extremely clean and it has rooms with views over Firenze. It is the very close to the city but also very quiet. The personnel is extremely nice. They have a very good restaurant with an incredible vast choice of wines and cheese, the quality of the food is excellent! regarding the rooms be aware of the fact that you can get a nice dépendance with separate entrance but no view over the city. It is actually with the view over wall but if you’re not interested in the view it’s a good choice because however you get to stay in a very nice hotel at a cheaper price also be aware of the fact that they do host a lot of events, therefore if you stay in the main hotel you might get lot of noise enjoy your staying in Firenze from NICOLETA

This is a little Florence in itself. I enjoy this place the most during my last trip to Italy where I visited Bologna, Padua, Vicenza, Sirmione, and Venice. Its garden was smaller but was better manicured than the Boboli garden. The outdoor area was absolutely heavenly - it's tranquil, well-lit, and it's got a beautiful view of Florence. If you get up early enough, you might get to enjoy the birds chirping, wild deer dance through the foothills, or watch the hot air balloon sail across the early spring skies. If you are a night owl and dare to venture into the wooded area, you can feast your eyes with twinkling fireflies(my first time). Breakfast was a feast in itself(all you can eat) and its included. Its shuttle service is truly a blessing...especially after a full day of walking around the city. Just call the hotel and it will arrive one of two specific locations in 15 minutes.

We had the most amazing stay at this property! Staying here feels really magical, no matter if you want to enjoy the historic rooms, the most peaceful, beautiful garden, or let yourself be pampered at the hotel restaurant. The staff was the most professional and friendly we’ve encountered during our trip to Italy, so kudos. Shuttle service is just perfect too. If we ever go back to Florence, we’ll definitely staying here again.

Loved this hotel for the price. Up in the hills you need a taxi to originally get up there but once you’re there they have an in-house shuttle from 9am-1pm and 4pm-8pm. This comes in clutch but then once again later at night you will need a taxi back up again. The staff are so nice and the grounds are beautiful. Stunning garden and nice views of Florence. Nice art around the hotel and I would definitely stay here again for a short stay. The included breakfast is fantastic.

Villa Agape Hotel was truly breathtaking, a beautiful and delightful place to stay. The highlight is undoubtedly the garden behind the hotel, offering a stunning view and a cozy sitting area. Given that the hotel is a refurbished nunnery, the rooms showcase an older style decor that adds a unique charm. The vintage elevator, accommodating only three people at a time, added a cool touch—I found it fascinating, though my sister preferred the stairs most of the time. A noteworthy feature is the wine station, which allows guests to serve their own pours using a wine card obtained from the front desk. While there aren't many restaurants in the immediate area, the hotel's own restaurant is quite good. It's worth mentioning that securing a taxi later in the evening to return to the hotel can be a bit challenging, but the locals were helpful in assisting us. Despite the minor logistics, I would unquestionably choose to stay here again for an overall wonderful experience.

It's a fantastic hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. We had one dinner there, which was outstanding. It was perfect for us as it was away from the main tourist area, but a reasonably easy walk to and from (it is uphill coming back, so be prepared). The reward is sweeping vistas of Florence and the surrounding countryside. The hotel provides a shuttle, which we didn't use, but seemed readily available. The grounds are magnificent with flowered porticoes and sitting areas overlooking an olive orchard. A walk through the orchard was a great experience for those of us who don't get to walk through olive orchards on Florence hillsides every day.

We couldn't be more pleased with our experience at Villa Agape. The rooms are well appointed, the food is excellent, and the staff truly understands hospitality. We stayed over Christmas, and the Christmas dinner was an incredible experience. Of all the places we stayed while in Italy, Villa Agape is the one we talk about the most. We can't wait to come back!

Genuine, kind and very helpful staff. We arrived just in time to see the sun setting from our window overlooking the beautiful garden, took a stroll and then had a delicious dinner in the restaurant before bed. Treat your loved one by staying here, it is very romantic 💕

I LOVED this hotel, the staff were absolutely wonderful and I mean every single one of them. They all were highly accommodating and friendly, they make you feel like family and seem genuinely happy with their jobs. I want to thank Luca and the woman bartender that works the bar at night, they really left a lasting impression and understand true customer service! The hotel and its grounds are all so beautiful and are a much needed escape from busy Florence! The rooms are clean comfortable and provide everything you need. The breakfast is 10/10 delicious and fresh! They even have a wine self service machine that was great! Do be prepared to get a taxi from Florence to the hotel and etc…the shuttle is helpful but if you have an early morning to late night you’ll need a taxi. And they aren’t always easy and quick to get, if you need to be at the airport or train station at a certain time ensure plenty of time to get a taxi up to the hotel to bring you there! Besides that book this hotel now and you won’t be disappointed! We will deff return in the future!

Beautiful place, nice staff and full of commodities. We were given a room upgrade for our 7 days stay, which was great! Would definitely recommend to explore Firenze and Toscana region.

A beautiful hillside location overlooking the city, with extensive, romantic gardens. Accommodation is excellent, with comfortable, quiet rooms. We had an issue with our first room, and this was addressed with grace and generosity, taking our anniversary into account, in that we were then given a suite with superb views. Breakfasts are simply fabulous, with anything most could want either as a buffet or prepared for you. A shuttle will take you down towards the city, dropping off at the Piazza Michelangelo, but we enjoyed the walk more often than not. The staff are attentive, and our stay was a joy.

We loved this beautiful hotel villa . After spending 2 weeks traveling busy Italy it was so nice to relax and take in the beautiful views from our room and all around the grounds. The staff including the front desk, wait staff, bar tender, and how clean the maids left our villa were all top notch!!!! We would love to revisit this beautiful place again

Great experience and would book again! The beds were the most comfortable bed we've ever had in a hotel, the staff there was always tentative and quick with whatever we needed and the hotel itself was absolutely breathtaking! We loved the shuttle service to and from the hotel, it was free and they were super quick to getting someone to bring us down to the city when needed.

There is no word to describe this Hotel. Elegance and cozy Hotel, quiet, nicely decorated with a beautiful garden. I was planning to stay one night and I extended it as I loved the place. I have tried 2 bedrooms. The double and the single bedroom - the single bed is larger than a normal single bed. Beds are very confortable, the products in the bathroom are high quality and everything is very clean. The walk to the center is lovely as you have a beautiful view of the city. Private and safe parking - the hotel provides a free drive to the center. The breakfast is probably one of the best - fresh fruit juice ! home made cake, croissants, delicious focaccia, eggs and more, even gluten free options ! The food of the restaurant is also delicious, with a good choice of local wines, and you can also taste them. But most of all : the special people who are working there. They do everything to make you feel like home. I'll definitely come back.

Lovely hotel situated on the outskirts of Florence. The rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, breakfast was great and the shuttle to the city very efficient and easy to use. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. All in all I would recommend a stay here if you are looking for a bice hotel, reasonably priced with the quieter setting bit still close to the action. A taxi to the airport cost us 40 Euro.

I had 2 days meeting in villa Agape, and it was a very good experience. Meeting room was good for 15 attendees, restaurant was great, beautiful traditional infrastructure, with peaceful view on Tuscany hills, 10 minutes away from the historic center of Florence

Beautiful hotel in a 14th century villa located just outside the wall of Florence. The rooms are well equipped and the gardens provide a relaxing spot after a day touring. The staff is exceptionally helpful and breakfast in the garden is a lovely way to start the day. There is a free shuttle from the hotel to the top of old Town. While the walk down into Florence isn't difficult the walk back up to the shuttle is a challenge.

Rooms are small and distance from center of town is about 8-10 minutes away. Otherwise, shuttle service is provided. But, the staff, they were all amazing. The in house ristorante, La Duchesse, the food and service was superb. The choices for breakfast, was the best we've enjoyed anywhere. Thank you Art Hotel Villa Agape. We very much look forward to staying here again.

This is a great place to stay. We have visited Florence many times before mostly within the old city. This hotel is away from all the noise and traffic. Picturesque views, quiet and relaxing while only 10 minutes shuttle to centre. We drove to Florence this time and were particularly looking for a place so we can drive in and out easily and have a safe spacious parking. We also had to do work a couple days and the found the wifi internet stable and reliable which was a bonus while you are on video zoom calls. Breakfast is great and is served in the courtyard with a cute water fountain. Fresh juices squeezed for you per your liking, warms eggs, variety of pastries, cold cuts etc. We booked a superior room with garden views. Very high ceilings room within a mansion hand painted doors and beautiful Italian furniture. Just perfect. Views are breath taking looking over the 9 hectares of olive trees land if the hotel. Bonus was the sunset views from the back garden looking over the city with a second bar located in the garden for your convenience. Totally recommend this place and we ourselves will make this a stop for every time we visit Florence with car

I absolutely love this place. The location, the history, the food, the hospitality - everything was 5 stars. Villa Agape is located about 10-15 minute drive from the city center of Florence. It is set up in the hills which provides beautiful views of the city as well as a quiet, relaxing refuge after long hot days of exploring. I preferred it to being located in the city center amongst the hustle of tourists. The hotel provides a shuttle to 2 different locations right outside of the city. The hotel provides a great spread for breakfast and the on-site restaurant serves up delicious dinners on par with anything you'd get in the city. Having the restaurant right there provides a great option to spend a night in and not have to venture back into the city. The hotel staff was welcoming, kind, polite and beyond hospitable. I will be staying here again (I've already booked it for next year) and will likely make it a stop whenever I'm in Italy. I would give Villa Agape 10 stars if I could!

This Hotel was first on our stops in Italy and set the bar so high that we are having a hard time reviewing the others. It was beautiful beyond my expectations. The staff was Amazing the room Amazing! The location was the BEST! The morning breakfast set an expectation that couldn't be meet at another facility during our entire trip! Highly recommend this place!

Just a beautiful place to stay. The views are breathtaking. The staff is wonderful and have great sense of humor. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. They have a shuttle to bring you into Florence, however the hours end at 8pm which is early. They have parking if you have your own vehicle which is nice. The elevator is tight so if you have many bags you may need to make multiple trips. Property has much history including a stay by Galileo and a view of his final home when he was under house arrest. Definitely recommend! 😁

Stayed 5 nights here and liked it so much we stayed another night! Was perfect for us because we had a rental car and there is free parking on site. Not only that, but the shuttle is a really great to get into Florence. Both shuttle stops are convenient to walking around Florence. Note that the shuttle stops service at 8pm, so if you plan on staying out late, you'll need to grab a taxi back. Usually cost 10-15 euros from Ponte Vecchio area. Grounds around the hotel are beautiful and you feel like you're in the country even though you're juuuust outside a major city. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Only thing I might note that we booked a suite for the first 5 nights. The room was spacious and comfortable. For the last night we switched to a standard room and it was much smaller and the quarters were much tighter. We were glad we booked a suite, so if you plan a longer stay, it might be worth it to pay a little extra for a larger room. Still a great stay all the way around!

Near perfect accommodation. Kind and helpful staff, large rooms, free shuttle to 10 minutes walk from center, great breakfast buffet, beautiful grounds to have an appertivo. Restaurant left more to be desired.

We stayed here the night of our wedding. The staff went out of their way to make it a special event. The quality of the restaurant and the breakfast blew us away. The gardens and views are spectacular.

The staff made the stay a beautiful experience. The pampering from them was great; great customer service. Employees go the extra mile to provide great service. We scheduled taxis daily since we were out and about all day most of our stay; staff coordinated that with the taxi company and to our surprise they packed our breakfast for us. The hotel provides free breakfast like many other hotels, but the staff packed it for us for the road; is not the price of the breakfast is the though that counts; one of may examples of great customer service. PLEASE NOTE THE HOTEL IS 20-30 MINUTES WALK TO DOWTOWN FLORENCE. THEY HAVE A SHUTTLE MOST OF THE DAY

Best part of Florence, old monastery, quiet, stylish, comfortable. 24 hr reception staff always ready to solve any issue beyond the warm welcome. The breakfast is truly heavenly. Take time for breakfast and make sure you check out the complete offering before making your selection. Take a walk in the garden before breakfast, maybe at sunrise. I did not have time to test the bar, but an inviting place for sure. Highly recommended!
