😠 Absolutely terrible experience. The worst part is that this seems to be the norm for this hotel. Our experience was not out of the ordinary, and here is what we went through. 1) Rude, and unhelpful manager. The first thing he did when we entered the reception was mock us as if we didn't understand.... People often mention room, hotel, dirty, stay, bags, location,

Despite the hotel being so well placed in the city, I cannot recommend at all. Depending on the time you stay it could very well ruin your trip by itself. The rooms are very bad and not clean enough. It smells like sewers 24/7. Hot water is sometimes not available. Walls are paper thin so you hear absolutely everything, no way to have decent sleep. Service is not so bad, but it's unfortunate the hotel is in such a state.

Absolutely horrendous place. When we arrived there was no response at the door. So we sat at the doorsteps with our bags waiting for someone to open the door. The owner then shows up and starts yelling at us for leaving our bags on the floor and aggressively asks us to clean the bags before we enter the building. We of course refused to oblige to such a ridiculous demand. He then told us he was cancelling our reservation. Extremely rude and aggressive. I have never experienced anything like it. Avoid it like the plague.

Absolutely terrible experience. The worst part is that this seems to be the norm for this hotel. Our experience was not out of the ordinary, and here is what we went through. 1) Rude, and unhelpful manager. The first thing he did when we entered the reception was mock us as if we didn't understand. 2) The room was despicable. Never accept room number 22. The two single beds are squeezed into this long narrow storage room. Barely any space to open your bags. Closet with a broken knob, broken chair, broken handles all over the place. 3) Other basic amenities like a toilet has no privacy as the windows face other rooms with windows. Wifi is horrible, lift is barely functional, tables are woobly, not hot water, not water dispenser, 0 room service, all they do is empty the bin. Its a hard and difficult place to be satisfied with even if u wanted to call it a hostel. Summary, for its price it is definitely not worth it. There are literally hundreds of other hotels around that are cheaper and better. And that was during the peak season as well. Avoid this place if you do not want your florence experience to be completely tarnished by this "HOTEL"

Please choose some other hotel for your stay in Florence. The room that we received was dirty, there were stains on the sheets, long hairs on the provided towels, a broken fan on the bedside table, a small window going to a really really small courtyard (I think it's max 4sqm), no sunlight in the room. And I can go on with all the bad points of this "hotel". We chose not to stay there after we saw exactly how the room looks even though it was pre-payed. The guy at the reception told us that we cannot cancel our reservation and he was really rude with us. We took our chances and left, you cannot feel comfortable in those rooms.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. It is just 7 min away from the train station (on foot) and in the center of Florence. Service was bad. When we reached the hotel there was a paper on the interphone mentioning to call a number to open the door. Luckily we had a working phone number, but even though no-one was answering. We tried to call the hotel on the interphone but no answer as well. After a 10 min wait we were able to call the host and he said that he will be there in 5 min. We waited for another 10 min and then entered because someone was leaving the building. The lift does not reach the ground floor. You have to access it from the first floor. We had a hard time communicating with the person on the reception due to his poor English. Rooms were not clean. Bathrooms were average. The walls of the hotel were not sound proof (propably wooden partitions). We were able to hear the snoring of a nearby guest all night. No room service. I personally do not recommend it.

Perfect location to stay and discover around. No room introduction while entrance and no explanation about WiFi and password unless you ask. We asked about if we could leave bags before check in, no one answered. We waited in front of the hotel, rang the bell before check in no one answered. I mean no one gives you any answer if you go there before 14.30. It is nonsense. Then they should add their page on booking that if you come before check in you would find no one for anything. Anyway not too bad to stay if you don't mind shared bedroom.

Wifi is terible. In the rooms was warm, but matraces was very uncomfortable. Toilets was dirty, full dirty towels in the shower on the floor. Reception workers wasn't friendly. Very noisy. The neighbours speak very loud all night.

Probably one of the cheaper hotels in Florence. Room was ok, location great! Super loud at night, mosquitoes will eat you. Found some blood on the sheets and on one towel. Shared bathroom is ok! You will survive.

Great place to stay! Room had all necessities we needed. Fantastic location! Central and a short walk to all the main sites. Hotel team were incredibly friendly and helpful, gave us some fantastic recommendations for local places to eat and drink. Can't wait to visit Florence again and Hotel Regina is where I will be staying!

The room was very dirty (i even found a mascara under the bed which means it was not cleaned properly before we enter). The bathrooms were also cleaned only once in 4 days. The lady at the reception though was super kind and helpful.

No wifi Very rude receptionist No extra tissue roll No change of towels. No ceilings fans, need to manage with table one. Receptionist yelling to customers and not allowing to keep bags before check in. A big No for everyone.

Dirty room, uncomfortable beds, the walls were dirty with hairs sticked on them and dirty marks. Dirty bathrooms. And the personal in the reception (a grumpy man) was rude and prepotent. There’s no price-quality. The only good thing was the location, but just that.

Great location. Kind host. Uncomfortable beds and lack of space. The shared bathrooms were not very clean.

The room was really dirty and cold. The air conditioner was out of order and the staff not helpful about this problems. The bathroom was dirty and the blankets smells terribly. The locker on our door was broken and because of this they stole us 40€. I strongly not recommend this hotel, spend your money to an other one.
