We stayed at this hotel during our five night stay in Florence. It truly was one of the best hotels we could’ve found based on the location and the price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this is for one primary reason - the service was phenomenal! This hotel will not win you over with a luxurious modern room, a vast spread for breakfast, or a relaxing pool. Really what sets them apart is their service. Everyone at the hotel seemed to know who we were and genuinely seemed happy to speak to us and take care of our needs. For example, there was one time we asked the front desk if there was any place in the hotel where we could fill up our water bottles, they politely replied that we could fill them up using the sink, that it was perfectly fine to drink. However, on every night since then we found complimentary water bottles by our bedside! I think that they take note of what we ask for and do their best to go above and beyond. Later in our stay it turned out that my wife got sick and had to spend the whole day in the hotel room. They were very kind and brought us everything we needed while she was getting over her sickness. In short, the service is amazing and the hotel location is fantastic, only a short walk away from all the sights.

This little gem was hidden down a side street, making it a little bit hard to find. This was easily my favorite of the three hotels on our Italian trip, and one of my favorites anywhere. The room was spacious and richly appointed with dark wood, gilded lamps, and elaborate ceiling decoration. The bathtub was big enough for both of us at once. If you open your window in the morning you can hear the beautiful cathedral bells from what sounds like every direction, but there's hardly a sound with them shut. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We especially liked the bartender, Fabiola. She was very sweet and attentive, made good drinks, and friendly conversation. The lounge is comfortable and classy. They have a breakfast buffet and cocktail hour in the afternoon. The spa here is interesting. A Turkish bath is kind of like a rainfall shower, except the water is at a higher pressure and comes out almost lukewarm. The idea is that the water will massage your shoulders. And if you prefer more heat, there are the saunas just beside it. It's nice to alternate between the two. They have water by the lounge chairs for you to recuperate. We were able to walk here from the train station in around 15 minutes, though there was some cobblestone road. It was a nice way to see the surrounding area, though I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a suitcase with wheels.

A nice place to stay in Firenze. The hotel is clean, we enjoyed the spa after a day discovering the city’s beauties. Good breakfast and kind staff.

Awesome hotel! The best staff I have ever experienced in a hotel, which made our stay in this marvelous city even more remarkable. Amazing location, great breakfast (not so rich in variety but everything of the highest quality).

If you don’t mind a lot of late night noise, then you will have a much better experience here… The hotel itself is very centrally located and convenient to many of the shops and restaurants. The hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is pretty nice, but nothing too memorable. The big issue that we had here was the bar/club across the street which played house music until 4:30am… this really distracted from the relaxing and romantic experience we were hoping for when we returned to our hotel at the end of our busy days exploring the city. We resorting to playing white noise to help ourselves get to sleep, but on Saturday night the music from the nearby club was so loud we could still hear and feel the bass no matter what we did. I hate to say it because the hotel staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful, but I would not recommend this hotel based on the excessive noise from the surrounding clubs and bars.

I took a last-minute solo trip to Florence, and the Golden Tower Hotel & Spa was one of the only luxury hotels available for a booking - it did not disappoint! Centrally-located (5 mins walk from the Duomo, 5 mins from Ponte Vecchio, 10 mins walk from the Firenze SMN train station), super clean, and the most amazing staff. The breakfast was included and was perhaps the biggest delight! A beautiful spread every morning, with the most amazing pastries and fresh juice. The room was clean (and the turn-down service at night was an especially nice treat), and the bed incredibly comfortable for sleeping after the long days of exploring Tuscany. I would be remiss to not mention the incredible staff - from Daniele, Gisel, and Francesco at the hotel reception/concierge, to the hardworking housekeeping staff, wait staff, and staff at the spa, each worked so well to make stay an incredible experience. I was sad to leave, but will definitely return!

The room was amazing, almost out of a fairy tale. The location is perfect, it makes the whole town very walkable (5 mins to the Uffizi or the Duomo). Breakfast was delicious and the staff was extraordinary. Highly recommend!

I dare to say this is the best hotel in Europe we ever stayed at!! Wonderful location and staff! Clean rooms and great breakfast. Chiara from the front desk did an amazing job taking care of us. Rooms were clean and without carpets, the building was a masterpiece itself! Just book it 10/10

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this hotel for our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly and more than accommodating (from remembering our names to booking a taxi or even a bus ticket). The rooms were spacious, luxurious and clean. The location is perfect for those who want to be just the right amount for distance from the major attractions of Florence. We enjoyed our time immensely and would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Florence.

We were on our honeymoon when we stayed at this hotel, and wrote to the hotel a couple days before our stay. Although driving to the hotel can be tricky, as Firenze is a challenging place to drive, the receptionist/concierge was very helpful in giving us accurate directions when we told them where we were. The service in the hotel was excellent, as the staff were very knowledgeable about the area, treated us very kindly, and spoke English proficiently. The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, which made us feel at home as soon as we entered the room. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel for tourists that are visiting Firenze/Florencel, especially those on honeymoon.

Great hotel in a great spot - every major sight in Florence is within walking distance. Staff were very courteous and helpful and the room was great (with the best air conditioning we had in all of italy)! The breakfast was very good as well. Highly recommend!

Loved the hospitality of the front desk personnel specially Nami & another lady who assisted us during our check-in& to Francesco who was the night frontdesk person. I give praise to the staff in the breakfast room for their swiftness in setting up the tables& getting it ready for the next guests. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff for always keeping our room clean.

We recently booked a spa day for one of our travelers and his experience was amazing! The staff was so easy to work with and were even able to accommodate a pedicure, which was so relaxing for our traveler! It was the perfect way to relax after walking many steps and climbing many flights of stairs! We look forward to booking with you again!

I have stayed at many 5-star hotels through the years and this just won't do it, not for me. At their best moments they could reach a 4-star rating. The staff is friendly but they don't have a clue what 5-star rating expectations brings from the guests.

Great location in Florence. Walking distance to everything within 15 minutes. Staff very friendly, room and bathroom finished nice. USB ports for phone chargers. Good breakfast and champagne is free with desserts for happy hour at 6:30 every night. Great hotel. I would recommend and stay there again if I have the chance.

One of the best hotels in Florence as far as room quality is concerned, true 5 star services. Nice quiet and large rooms. Great location. BEWARE that they will trick you into packages, like “breakfast and massage” and then be extremely limited with the times you can book the massages. I don’t recommend buying a package offer. Breakfast is underwhelming with small selection.

The hotel location is fantanstic. The people are very sweet. The service is worth a 5 stars hotel!! Don't forget to privatise the spa, it's worth it, especially the tropical rain shower, the smell is incredible. The breakfast is good too.

Our stay at the Golden Tower Hotel was wonderful. From the moment of check-in with Naimi (sincere apologies for misspelling her name if I did) , we felt welcome and in good hands. The duplex suite was beautiful and perfect for our needs as a group of three (and side note- the infuser scent they use is incredible). The breakfast area is lovely and a great way to start the day and the bar is an equally great place to end it. Again, the service in these areas is what truly made the experience. In particular, Sarker not only made the best Negroni we had during our time in Florence, but was engaging and welcoming even though it was close to closing time. On our last morning, the third member of our party was sleeping in. Without being asked, one of the gentlemen on duty that morning (whose name I unfortunately did not get) made up a beautiful coffee tray for us to take up to her. This was quite in keeping with the level of service we had received during the whole stay, but nonetheless solidified our lasting impression of the hotel as one who treats its guests with care and attentiveness. Aside from the incredible service, it is also in an excellent location within walking distance of just about everything you would want to do. I would highly recommend the Golden Tower Hotel for your stay in Florence and hope to be back again
