Upon
arrival
we
were
greeted
nicely
and
warmly
by
a
man.
He
was
able
to
answer
all
our
questions,
directed
us
to
a
parking
place
for
the
car,
and
explained
the
amenities
of
the
hotel.
Our
room
was
for
two
people.
Spacious,
has
a
window
though
it
was
facing
the
building
in
front.
Didn't
bother
us
much
as
we
kept
it
covered
with
the
curtains
to
avoid
heat
from
coming
in.
There
was
air
conditioning
though
which
is
nice
during
a
38°C
weather.
You'll
need
to
slip
your
keycard
into
a
socket
to
turn
on
the
electricity
and
use
the
cooling.
Bathroom
is
big,
our
toilet
had
a
bidet
in
front
of
it,
and
it
was
separated
by
a
wall
from
the
sink
and
bath
tub
area.
Cleaning
staff
greeted
us,
were
very
polite,
and
also
helped
me
with
my
luggage
since
there
were
a
couple
steps
going
down
to
the
room
we
had.
They
provide
you
with
yellow
towels
to
be
used
in
the
rooftop
pool
which
was
open
until
9PM
(if
I
remember
correctly)
when
we
were
there.
It's
not
as
big
as
the
photos
seem
to
show
on
the
website,
however.
Cozy
enough
for
a
family
of
eight,
but
if
you
add
more
people
I
think
it
would
feel
too
cramped.
I
prefer
to
have
a
lot
of
space
between
myself
and
other
people.
There's
a
button
on
one
of
the
pool
walls
that
allow
you
to
activate
the
hydromassage
for
a
few
minutes.
Rooftop
view
is
stunning!
Beautiful
during
the
day
as
it
is
in
the
night.
This
is
where
we
had
breakfast.
There
are
salty
and
sweet
options.
Smoked
salmon,
cold
cuts,
cheese,
scrambled
and
sunny
side
up
eggs,
bacon,
and
baked
beans
and
just
among
the
salty
varieties
I
could
remember.
For
the
sweet
part,
you
have
a
choice
of
croissants
with
marmalade
or
plain,
yogurt
with
a
good
choice
of
fresh
and
sweetened
fruit,
nuts,
seeds,
cakes
(best
chocolate
cake
by
the
way,
super
moist
and
soft),
and
muffins.
They
have
a
bartender
for
the
mornings
to
make
you
delicious
cappuccino
and
all
other
good
stuff.
Frankly,
I
like
to
think
the
morning
and
evening
staff
at
the
rooftop
restaurant
were
the
best.
They're
all
smiles,
hospitable,
like
to
check
up
on
you.
Be
sure
to
give
your
room
number
before
you
head
to
the
buffet!
Keep
an
eye
out
for
the
little
birds
who
are
usually
hanging
around
past
8AM,
they
poke
at
the
plates
when
no
one's
around
to
supervise
your
table.
We
could
only
eat
once
for
dinner
here,
and
with
just
a
first
course
because
it
was
on
the
expensive
side.
Still,
risotto
was
delicious
and
creamy.
Was
a
very
pleasant
experience.
The
location
of
the
hotel
itself
is
very
good
because
it
only
takes
you
16
minutes
to
walk
to
Ponte
Vecchio
and
a
little
less
for
all
the
other
touristy
places
surrounding
that
area.
If
you
cross
the
third-nearest
bridge,
it
leads
you
to
a
famous
gelato
place
in
the
area
and
people
line
up
for
that.
I
recommend
visiting
it
too
when
you're
nearby.
Afterwards,
head
to
the
hotel
for
a
well-needed
siesta.
My
boyfriend
and
I
aren't
big
on
watching
TV
so
we
didn't
test
it.
There's
a
laundry
service
but
it's
paid
separately,
unavailable
during
weekends
and
holidays,
and
fairly
expensive.
You
have
the
option
to
have
your
clothes
ironed
OR
washed
and
ironed.
There's
no
option
for
a
wash
only,
as
verified
by
the
receptionist.
If
you
do
decide
to
go
through
with
the
service,
be
sure
to
fill
in
the
provided
slip
with
all
the
details
and
drop
your
clothes
off
at
reception
early
in
the
morning.
You
should
receive
it
on
the
evening.
All
in
all,
it
was
a
solid
experience,
can
recommend
it
just
for
the
good
combination
of
location
practicality
and
comfortable
necessities.
