It was a difficult search to get a proper hotel in Florence since each of them had a handful of negative reviews but luckily I managed to find this hotel with little to no negative reviews. And they lived up to the expectations. Rooms are great, service is good, great breakfast options and bang on the centre too. What more can you ask for !

Fantastic hotel, in a quiet area yet just 10 minute stroll along the river into the city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day, there is a minibar, safe, hairdryer, shower gels and tea/coffee in the room. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of cereals, pastries, cooked items, salads, pancakes and fresh fruit. The rooftop area is a bonus, with bar, comfy seats and a lovely heated swimming pool (properly heated, so it was nice to use even in November). The views from the rooftop were amazing. Definitely would return to this hotel if we ever visit Florence again.

Great hotel. The rooftop pool really made this hotel perfect for us. We were busy every day taking in as much of Florence as possible. It was terrific to be able to relax with a glass of wine at the pool in the late afternoons and evenings after those long hot days.

Fantastic 4-star hotel with rooftop pool in excellent location. Can’t comment on the restaurant as we didn’t eat there but fantastic location to train station, bars and restaurants. Guests from all over the world. Fantastic reception staff and cleaners. Pool is year round and is heated during the winter - we will be back to try that. Loved the evening drinks on the rooftop bar and spectacular views of the city and the Tuscan thunderstorms.

It’s our last night at Hotel Kraft and I couldn’t wait to praise the staff, rooms and overall experience. One of the best rooms ever! So glad that we decided to stay here. Excellent location, walking distance from river, beautiful views and proximity to great restaurants and stores. Hotel Kraft is an excellent place to be, we will come back again and again. Roof top breakfast with great view of the city. Staff very friendly and kind. If I could give more stars, I would .

Beautiful hotel everything is new. The rooms are gorgeous everything renovated but the building kept its charm with its high ceilings and wooden shutter windows. The location is great because it is in a quiet safe neighborhood but walking distance to all the main attractions. A 5 min walk to the river. The view from the rooftop restaurant and bar are amazing as well as the food. You see all of Florence. The rooftop pool was a nice place to just relax and see the view. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay in Florence. Close to the Arno river so easy to find your way to and from the historic areas. Rooftop restaurant and pool. Clean modern hotel with a great free breakfast on the rooftop and lots of other amenities. Would stay here if and when we go back to Florence!

Stayed as a family of 4 with 2 rooms which we requested near each other which was no problem for the team, this was a last minute booking and after looking at reviews of other hotel the Kraft ticked all the boxes. The small but perfectly formed rooftop pool was a godsend as we hit temps of 38c and service from the bar/restaurant below we excellent. The hotel was fully air conditioned so we slept like babies and the food in the restaurant didn’t disappoint either. Would recommend a stay here and will return at some point in the future. Well done team Kraft

Clean. Friendly staff. Incredible views over the City and Surrounding countryside. About a 15 minute walk into the centre, but there are plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes around the hotel. Valet parking was extremely helpful - the car was made available 24 hours a day at short notice, and was a reasonable price considering the daily rate of other garages in the area. The pool area was well-kept and generally quiet with easy access to the bar / restaurant on an adjoining Mezzanine floor. The gym was quite minimalist, but did have enough dumbbells and cardio equipment to have a half-decent workout. Highly recommend watching the sun rise over the city from the pool area!

Great location in Florence in a quieter part only a short walk to the center of town and train station. Rooms were good (except the AC only working when you had card in holder and had to have balcony door closed was a bit frustrating) and the air conditioning didn’t really work that well but the fact they had an electric kettle in the room to make your own hot tea and coffee was great as many hotels do not have. Loved the little fitness center and the hotel rooftop restaurant was superb- food was delicious as were the views.

Lovely hotel, especially the breakfast terrace. Great price to quality value. Large, very clean rooms and calm area. The only thing is that staff should help with the luggage as there is a lot of steps to get to the room even though there is an elevator...

We loved this hotel in a quiet area but only 10 minutes walk along the river to the centre of Florence. Lovely breakfast on their rooftop overlooking Florence (we also had a fabulous dinner) rooms are incredibly clean with comfortable beds, high quality linen and towels changed every day. Best of all are the outstanding staff, unfailingly cheerful kind and knowledgeable. Nothing but compliments we had a great stay here.

It’s a beautiful property and for the most part everyone was very kind. The restaurant menu was great, each dish was wonderful. A few of the gentleman servers didn’t have great attitudes, but the manager was great and smiley. He was always so cheerful and it sticks with you, also the nice young woman from Greece working at the restaurant was a delight to interact with. The Wi-Fi throughout the building was awful, you couldn’t stay connected to any device. It was very frustrating for the times I needed to hop on a video call. My friend who stayed on the opposite side of the hotel also had poor Wi-Fi. Upon checkout I called to let the reception know I was running 20 minutes behind and I’d be quick. The lady that answered yelled “No late checkout” and hung up. I got down about 10 minutes past 11am, and watched at least 3-4 different rooms checkout up to 12pm with no problem. I waited the last hour in the lobby to catch a train which was no problem but didn’t understand the rude person on the phone considering other people were doing it. Be consistent with your policies and not allow your staff to be rude to patrons. Pros- Great pool area, great restaurant menu, nice cozy rooms. Cons- Service levels, poor Wi-Fi That left a bad taste after that experience and wouldn’t stay here again.

Stayed here for 4 nights in October 2022. Loved it! Great location, very clean rooms and amazing views from the rooftop terrace. Staff were very friendly and humoured me when I asked if they served Cappuccino in Italy...

Upon arrival we were greeted nicely and warmly by a man. He was able to answer all our questions, directed us to a parking place for the car, and explained the amenities of the hotel. Our room was for two people. Spacious, has a window though it was facing the building in front. Didn't bother us much as we kept it covered with the curtains to avoid heat from coming in. There was air conditioning though which is nice during a 38°C weather. You'll need to slip your keycard into a socket to turn on the electricity and use the cooling. Bathroom is big, our toilet had a bidet in front of it, and it was separated by a wall from the sink and bath tub area. Cleaning staff greeted us, were very polite, and also helped me with my luggage since there were a couple steps going down to the room we had. They provide you with yellow towels to be used in the rooftop pool which was open until 9PM (if I remember correctly) when we were there. It's not as big as the photos seem to show on the website, however. Cozy enough for a family of eight, but if you add more people I think it would feel too cramped. I prefer to have a lot of space between myself and other people. There's a button on one of the pool walls that allow you to activate the hydromassage for a few minutes. Rooftop view is stunning! Beautiful during the day as it is in the night. This is where we had breakfast. There are salty and sweet options. Smoked salmon, cold cuts, cheese, scrambled and sunny side up eggs, bacon, and baked beans and just among the salty varieties I could remember. For the sweet part, you have a choice of croissants with marmalade or plain, yogurt with a good choice of fresh and sweetened fruit, nuts, seeds, cakes (best chocolate cake by the way, super moist and soft), and muffins. They have a bartender for the mornings to make you delicious cappuccino and all other good stuff. Frankly, I like to think the morning and evening staff at the rooftop restaurant were the best. They're all smiles, hospitable, like to check up on you. Be sure to give your room number before you head to the buffet! Keep an eye out for the little birds who are usually hanging around past 8AM, they poke at the plates when no one's around to supervise your table. We could only eat once for dinner here, and with just a first course because it was on the expensive side. Still, risotto was delicious and creamy. Was a very pleasant experience. The location of the hotel itself is very good because it only takes you 16 minutes to walk to Ponte Vecchio and a little less for all the other touristy places surrounding that area. If you cross the third-nearest bridge, it leads you to a famous gelato place in the area and people line up for that. I recommend visiting it too when you're nearby. Afterwards, head to the hotel for a well-needed siesta. My boyfriend and I aren't big on watching TV so we didn't test it. There's a laundry service but it's paid separately, unavailable during weekends and holidays, and fairly expensive. You have the option to have your clothes ironed OR washed and ironed. There's no option for a wash only, as verified by the receptionist. If you do decide to go through with the service, be sure to fill in the provided slip with all the details and drop your clothes off at reception early in the morning. You should receive it on the evening. All in all, it was a solid experience, can recommend it just for the good combination of location practicality and comfortable necessities.
