Very unkept, dirty and moldy shower inside and outside. Unclean toilet seat. Mold/water stains on the ceiling, ripped/torned wallpaper. No elevator, so a room on the third floor is a challenge. No disposible cups, only one plastic cup in the bathroom, not clean. I was told to go across the road and ask for a cup at the bar, wow!

Didn't even end up staying here even after having booked months in advance, had the hotel cancel the booking on us whilst at the airport. Apparently due to the card being "declined" which is a straight lie, tried to call and resolve the issue but had the phone put down on us. Subsequently after all calls made to property went straight to automated answerphone. Not something you want to have to deal with before you even depart for your holiday. Avoid this place at all costs, plenty of better places around, coincidentally the Panzani 14 Tourist House the opposite side of the road.

Room was covered in so much mold (under the wallpaper peeling off and our bathroom) that we got a little sick from our stay. The other part that was not great was the lack of an elevator. Having to lug all the suitcases up the stairs was not fun. Other than that it was in an excellent location for a hotel, and the staff was very nice. Room was okay, it looked very nice and was clean besides the mold, bed was hard.

Hotel is ok just if you want to spend half a day or just a night. It's a very old hotel with no proper infrastructure.The rooms are extremely small. No proper housekeeping staff and it looks they are renovating something. You might get lost as it's confusing once you get onto different floors. I would definitely not recommend it to a family. It's just ok if you are on a budget and want a room to spend a night .overall for the price it is ok.

This hotel is very strategic, it's just there's no lift, but the receiptionist was friendly and kind on the 1st floor even though you still had to go up the stairs, but over all, I liked it

NOT WORTH IT. Yeah it cheep but definitely not worth it. The rooms are small and dark and there are so much dust around. Location is great but that’s the only pro to picking this hotel. Also... the pictures on the website does NOT look like the rooms

The biggest advantage of this hotel is being very close to the most important museums - Uffizi Galleries, The Dome, Galleria dell 'Academia, the Baptisterium, Campanila di Gioto, Museum Galileo, Leonardo da Vinci, etc., no more than 1.3 km. Clean bathroom, clean room, towels and bedding. Old furniture, old doors, drought as the window doesn't close properly. No slippers and no wi-fi. Very nice and helpful staff.

This is a really bad hotel. Toilet was broken and didn't work, this was not told to us in advance. Black mold was growing in the bathroom. AC was broken and took 30 min to start. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. It was very cheap and really central, but spend som extra € to get a better experience.

Good for one night. Location. Few steps away from the train stop when coming from the airport. Decoration (versace logo all over the walls) makes the place tacky. Walls are thin and you can hear conversations from outside.

The location is amazing. It’s right in the city centre. Everything is at walking distance. From the airport you can take tram T2 until the last stop ‘Unica’ to reach the Hotel. The people working at the hotel were all very very nice. We enjoyed our 3 day stay in Florence a lot.

We paid for everything throught the Agoda system and when we arrived to the hotel it was found that the hotel is closed forever. Be careful and don't book Hotel Spagna.

Location!! Amazingly placed in midst of city at a walking distance from main train station, from main attractions and walking from all great eateries. Staff was very friendly and helpful, very quick response on Booking messenger and very kind for every ask. I wanted to drop my luggage in between my two trains and it worked smooth except some running back to station due to shortage of time of-course. Hotel reception was prepared to take care of my luggage and the same worked smooth when I left luggage the next day on check-out. I did not manage to open my hotel door due to lock mechanism but hotel staff was quick to arrive even at 10 PM and was pleasant in greeting. Room was tidy and spacious. I missed having an elevator in hotel with heavy luggage, apart from that ... everything was super good.

Hotel's location is perfect - in the very center and walking distance to the station. Staff was friendly. However the negative things are more unfortunately: most important hygiene was really low level, maybe they haven't cleaned the rooms for months - tones of dust on the furniture, on the air conditioning system, etc. As an allergic people we were barely able to breathe and sleep. In the bathroom there is no window and the only one in the room you can use if you put a towel to stop it not get closed. See the attached picture of the radiator and you will be amazed! We were not expecting 5 stars quality, but hygiene is a must. On my pillow there were pink and yellow spots. There is no 24/7 reception, so you should agree in advance with the staff to give you the code for unlocking.

I would not recommend this hotel. Wifi is terrible with frequent disconnections. The room was not cleaned well - I found a clump of hair on the bathroom floor from the last guest. The AC does not work properly so it is hot and hard to sleep at night. There is a lot of street noise and the room actually vibrates when trucks drive past. You can hear other guests through the walls.. I can clearly hear conversations from other rooms. No elevator so we had to carry suitcases up 4 floors of stairs. Only good thing was the location.

Great hotel! Amazing location, couldn't be better. Right next to the central station, Duomo and piazzas. Perfect to see the main city attractions within walking distance. Room was big enough, TV work fine, had a small fridge which was perfect to storage some parmesan. Bathroom was big and clean. Shower was perfect, great water pressure, hot water was actually too hot. Daily cleaning of room. Comfortable bed. Would definitely come back. There's no WiFi in the room.

No elevator! We were on the fourth floor and there wasn’t an elevator, the beds were also quite uncomfortable. But it was in a fantastic location, everything we needed was within a 10 minute walk so it did the job for what we wanted.
