If you want to stay near one of the most iconic places of Firenze, at a very reasonable rate, then this is your hotel. Very minimalistic and chic reception. The staff was delightful to talk to. Room was very clean with an astonishing view to Ponte Vecchio, as you can see in the pics. It has excellent toiletries by Salvatore Ferragamo, and the lightning makes it perfectly romantic and cozy. It is located footsteps to most scenic attractions, and wonderful restaurants to try authentic Tuscan food. Overall a great stay!

The hotel was wonderful. We had a corner room that was bright and area. Lots of light wonderful mirrors comfortable bed. Really a great spot. Easy to get to everything we wanted to do while visiting Florence. Definitely would highly recommend this hotel. One added note breakfast is in an adjacent hotel it is very nice though not very extensive.

The rooftop is very very cute! Drinks are also good and there is a beautiful view up there! I also loved the design inside the hotel. If you want to get a drink up there, you need to reserve in advance. We had called numerous times but they were always full.

I picked the cheapest room. The bedroom was so beautiful as well as the bathroom. After I came back from walking around the city I found my room re-organized with bed time amenities. I can’t even imagine how the expensive rooms look like. 1000 stars out of 5.

This hotel is ideally located in the heart of Florence five steps from Ponte Vecchia. We were moved from a standard to a junior suite. The service at the hotel was excellent. We also had an easy time getting a table at the terrace bar in peak season, which was nice. The breakfast is good, coffee is available in the rooms, The beds were the most comfortable of all the hotels we stayed at in our three weeks in Italy. I'm very selective, and I don't have anything negative to say about this hotel.

Nice hotel, but unfortunately the roof deck requires a reservation. We wish we would have known that ahead of time because the main reason we chose the hotel was to hangout and relax on the roof deck in the evenings. We were only able to go up there once and they limited our time to 45 minutes. The other hotels we stayed at in Venice and Rome also had roof decks that were open to the public, but hotel guests had main priority which I thought was nice. All in all a nice stay, but it would have been better with access to the roof deck or other areas to hangout and relax with my family.

My Wife and I stayed here earlier this year and what an amazing experience. We originally had a junior suite room booked and were upgraded at check-in to the top floor, corner suite. We were literally right over the Ponte Vecchio bridge with amazing river views. The room was incredible and the overall service at the hotel was top-notch. I would highly recommend staying here when you visit Florence. Thank you to the team at Hotel Continentale.

Well, this is going to be long. Located smack in the heart of Florence next to Ponte Vecchio, with some rooms overlooking Arno. Beautifully maintained property, the warm tones in the room and overpowering white gave such a cool feeling in that sweltering heat in Florence. Very big bathroom, with very fragrant soaps and especially liked the comfy slippers. Should have bought a pair tbh, but forgot. The whole room arrangement with the little walk in closet, the clock bedside table, huge comfy bed, and fluffy, comfy white pillows of which there were plenty to suit all tastes in pillows, big shower, bidet and toilet with a view, makes this the perfect place to unwind. Liked the modern comfy feel of the room with old pieces made comfortable, such as the desk. Fast internet, I could have my online meetings without connection fail, so feel free to have live streams, the bandwidth is there. Then the staff, after going around Italy for 6 weeks for work, staying in 7 hotels in 5 different cities, I can wholeheartedly say these guys were the best trained professionals I have met. Like I did not feel any of them being fake welcoming, my interactions felt genuine, i'm most grateful for that, it was the perfect way to close a long work trip. From concierge to front desk, spotless service. Alison, Francesca, Luca, thank you! The only thing which did not impress was the breakfast. Meh all the way, nothing to write home about, basic stuff. Another thing, they do not do room service, so if for whatever reason you're in need for that, it s 14 EUR the service fee, and there are few things which can be ordered, so skip it. All in all I intend to go back for my honey week, I have future hub no choice in the matter, plus he'll love it, I am convinced.

Amazing stay! You could literally not pick a hotel with a better location. The hotel sits right in front of Ponte Vecchio with tons of shops and cafes and historical sites within walking distance. You have this gorgeous view of the river and can walk to anywhere you want to go. The hotel is small, but modern and clean and efficient. Our room had a big bed with tons of storage and a big bathroom. Very quiet for being right in the middle of the city. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

Lovely little oasis in the middle of the heart of Florence. We had 2 large rooms with views of Florence and a little balcony. The rooms are well designed and modern, very cozy with sheer curtains around the bed and a modem tv with all the apps. It’s a busy hotel with an aperitivi bar on the roof and we were on the top floor so we had to shut the mechanical shutters to block out lights/noise at night but you could still hear the bar a little which didn’t really bother us. No room service but breakfast delivered from sister hotel next door was very good and came quickly. The spa looked wonderful though we didn’t use it, and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful with everything changing reservation and taxi requests, at it was a full hotel.

Amazing room and roof view! I couldn’t choose a better place to stay on my last night in Italy. We were very welcomed by the staff, specially the lady working on the roof bar. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was ok. The only issue I had was with the toilet as it was tilted

I used to stay in this hotel for a couple of times but the last one was very disappointing - especially during the COVID times. I have booked the room directly via their website which offered breakfast included. Unfortunately if you are looking to spend almost 1300€ per 3 night stay and queue for breakfast and sit at the dirty table - you found a place. Staff is paying more attention to italian customers and serve them in first place. Breakfast have very poor selection and I was not offered any drinks. After Spending 20 minutes asking someone to clean the table I have decided to grab something at the dirty table. Place not worth the money spent this time.

This hotel is an excellent place to stay. The staff was extremely kind and professional, the room very tidy and the location just great. Despite the short stay, we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place in Florence. We would specially like to thank the concierge desk staff, who were extremely nice and helpful.
