    - I am very disappointed with this place, I strongly do not recommend it. 1. No hot water, only ice cold, and we had a room with a private bathroom, which we could not use due to such conditions. 2. I didn't find the service at the reception in the evening, I tried it in the morning - no one was there again. I called - on the phone, when someone answered, he said he would call in a minute. Several minutes passed - no reaction. I called again, a man said he needed 10 minutes to check it, no information, after 20 minutes we called and said he was calling, somewhere for a service and trying to get something done. It took so long that we had to check out already so we were unable to use the bathroom. Zero apologies, explaining the situation, trying to alleviate our nervousness, compensation. Even after my message to the hotel after check out, describing the situation - no reply. 3. A very strange approach to checking in - the receptionist without asking, wanted to take a photo of our documents with sensitive data. + Location. Clean.

To be honest, I was expecting more for this price. The location was nice, close to the center but not in the middle of unnecessary crowd. There was three bathroom in total, and hot water. Staff was also nice. But I wasn’t really happy with the room. Firstly, bunks were old and every time the other person moved it felt like an earthquake. And there was not enough plugs and it was far from the bed. So when I compare the price with everything it is fair to give three/three and a half stars.

Great price. Great location. It is like a 15 minute walk away from the night life in the city. You can access the hostel 24 hours a day as you get keys to the front door. I met some amazing people here. You can store luggage for free till 2pm after that is is 2 euros I believe. Owner is has a friendly vibe and gave me a map of Florence and as the nice guy he was put a circle around the places I should visit. It wasn’t a very professional hostel. But great for everyone that just wants a cheap nights sleep for their travel. Would definitely sleep there again. Though I am also not the pickiest person.

Bed bugs. The place was fine, I am just writing this review as a heads up to future travellers; I got bed bugs from here, specifically first room on the right up the first flight of stairs, top bunk next to the window. The guy working was very apologetic.

This is a basic hostel, reasonably priced, clean, and conveniently located within the old city area of Florence. Staff is very friendly. It is surrounded by grocery/convenience stores, restaurants, bakeries, and many good things. It’s within. Few minutes walk of all the tourist sights. Breakfast is served too late I.e. 9 AM; it should start at 7.

Amazing hostel for the price. Common rooms had microwaves fridges and snacks for sale. A small breakfast was included which was super nice. The staff was the best part. They were very helpful and answered all of our questions and provided great recommendations. We stayed during the summer and the rooms were nice and cool. The rooms had 4 beds, which has been smaller than other hostels we’ve stayed in. They had storage for clothes and also provided towels. One of my favorite hostel experiences!!

No complaint since this is the cheapest option you get in an expensive city like Florence! It is a cheap stay in the city center and you shouldn't expect much. Bed sheets are clean and they change them right after guests leave, toilet and showers are clean and enough. They don't have a luggage closet or something but you can trust your clothes are safe in your rooms although you can use nearby luggage services which are quite abundant in Florence.

Spacy, clean rooms and toilets with enough privacy. I received the towels and lockers for small price. The location is the best possible.

The rooms are spacious, well-cleaned and pretty much you get what you pay for. What I really want to highlight is the service of the staff there. The woman manning the receptionist truly went above and beyond to help me look for a jacket I accidentally left in one of their drawers after checking out. I didn’t manage to reclaim the jacket, but she was super sweet and patient throughout and I cannot be more grateful for the kindness she showed me. 🥹

+ great location, nice bathrooms, super nice staff - rooms (cleanliness/private lockers broken), high price, a lot of mosquitos!!!

Shower switched between hot and ice cold every ten seconds (other reviews show this isn’t a new problem). Lockers in my room were broken. Good location but not worth it. Stay somewhere else.

The hostel was always clean, Gabrielle is very kind and funny! Always gave us our morning cappuccinos. The rooms are nice and the AC is great! It’s in a great location to everything. The only annoying thing is WiFi not the best but that’s it.

Absolutely charming place with so much character and personality. There are plenty of bathrooms which are very new and very clean. The staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast is very simple. The kitchen doesn't have a stove, but everything else. Very close to the train station and city center. Very secure with lockers available and keys to each room and the entrance from the street.

Super nice hostel! The woman in the morning was super nice, especially during the breakfast! And Gabriele was really a nice host and person to talk to! I took a private bedroom, which was really comfy and ok for the price. Place is close to all the daily and night life of Firenze, and again the hosts were super welcoming! Will probably come again if I have the occasion!

I'm very happy that I booked this hostel for my stay in Florence. We stayed in a private room with shared bathroom. The location was excellent, less than 5 minutes walk from SMN train station and about 10 minutes walk from the cathedral. In terms of cleanliness, it was also one of the best places I've ever been to, with some of the bathrooms being newly renovated. But the best part was the staff, who was very kind and helpful. It was nice to have the breakfast included as well. Recommended!

First time traveler to Italy here. I was terrified of staying in a hostel almost alone (I’m 20 years old, female, and don’t speak Italian) but Gabrielle, the manager, made it feel like home. He was there to greet me when I arrived, give me instructions about the place, and was available for questions. The location is pretty ok— safe & 7-8 minutes from both the Cathedral and the train station. Clean bathrooms and bedrooms, and a quiet atmosphere. I loved staying here and can’t wait to come back.
