This Boutique Hotel is really well located just at the border of the ultra center. It is very clean and quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful (speak Italian, French and English). The facilities of the hotel are good. The valet parking is a must as parking in Florence is almost impossible, they bring your car on demand. The continental breakfast is very good. The only negative point would be the high price of the Spa/swimming pool if you don't take it as a package with your room. The pool is nice and refreshing but doesn't not justify 22 euro for few hours. Overall we highly recommend this hotel if you wish to visit Florence and rest in a high standing location.

We had a wonderful stay here last May. The staff were all very nice, and I even enjoyed the hotel cat, despite being allergic. The spa area was quiet, and the staff was accommodating, allowing our girls to enjoy the salt water pool. Got a great shot of the Domo complete with a double rainbow after a wild hail storm.

Wonderful hotel! Super nice staff, immaculate interior design, every detail has been attended to, down to the AC vents. Service was prompt, great breakfast, and afternoon tea service. Super nice and cozy spa with a heated pool that connects to an outside courtyard pool…very COVID conscious and clean….highly recommend to anyone visiting this wonderful and historic city!

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful hotel with very welcoming staff. The garden was especially lovely and we sat outside after a Dar exploring enjoying a glass of wine. Our room was spacious and wonderfully clean. We only ate breakfast but that was excellent with a large variety to chose from. The hotel is in an excellent location as well.

So happy that we stayed here during our trip to Florence. Beautiful hotel! The staff was wonderful! Very accommodating and always smiling. Take their dinner recommendations, never steered us wrong. The food at their restaurant was excellent! We ate dinner there twice because it was so good. Loved their outdoor space. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Service is top notch and rooms very comfortable. The spa and outdoor area were an added bonus at the end of our days. On site restaurant and bar served good food and drinks.

Loved this hotel. Staff were very professional and friendly. They would do anything for you. The breakfast and dinner were great. There was so much choice for breakfast, it would set you up for the day. Great situation for the railway station and the centre. Loved the garden and afternoon tea and cake. Amazing hotel! We spent our holidays beginning of August. Hotel is beautiful decorated, has amazing garden with nice gym and small pool. Very good restaurant and breakfast. All the people from the staff are very kind and helpful, it's been huge pleasure to spent vacations at Palazzo Castri! Last but not least the mascot - cute cat named Fuli- true ambassador :) we felt in love in him.

We loved our stay in Florence. This had a lot to do with the wonderful hotel. Service was excellent. They were happy to arrange tours and add the costs to the room. Breakfast was perfect, continental variety in a beautiful setting. We didn't take advantage of all the services, but a look around the health centre and pool looked fantastic. Just remember to book to use the pool.

Wonderful boutique hotel located a short walk from the train station and convenient to all the local attractions. The staff was attentive and accomodating. The garden patio provided a welcome afternoon respite after a long day of sightseeing. We will highly recommend your hotel. Thank you for a great experience in the beautiful city of Florence.

We absolutely adored our one night stay at this hotel! It is beautiful, and we were kindly greeted by Teresa once we arrived. Our room was not ready, but she took our bags and provided us a map with directions that led us a short walk away to breakfast and then the sites. The hotel is very clean, very quiet, very beautiful. We had our welcome drink, a grapefruit refresher that my mom continues to talk about it! Daniele at the bar was super kind, made an excellent drink, and even provided snacks. Breakfast the next morning was lovely and allowed us time to relax before walking to the train station, which is very close! Easy to lug even heavy suitcases like ours there. We will be back!

Great experience! Rooms are smaller than Americans are used to (which is most of European hotels) but are so nice! We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is fantastic (and more than most other hotels we have stayed in over the years) and the service was incredible. I highly recommend! (and I am a self proclaimed hotel snob)

Beautiful hotel with great lemon garden that is a peaceful oasis after a busy day in Florence. The sauna and spa area are top notch and was something to look forward to after walking around the city. The spa and pedicure received by my wife were excellent. The only slight problem was that the shower temperature would go cold for a couple seconds intermittently during a shower. We will definitely stay again if we ever visit Florence. Thank you and all of the staff for the great service!

Service was AMAZING!! There was a small issue our 1st night. But they fixed. The rooms are perfect. The Food was Wonderful... Again everything about the Hotel was Wonderful!!! Highly Recommend!!!! Loved the Waterfall shower head!!!!

I would highly recommend the Palazzo Castri 1874. The hotel is clean, modern and very comfortable. Great location, close to the Mercato Centrale (central market) and not a far walk to the Santa Maria Novella train station. The breakfast was impressive and I especially enjoyed the Italian cappuccino. The afternoon tea time was also a nice surprise. The staff was always friendly and attentive. Thank you! The only item I would absolutely not recommend is the VIP transfer from-to the Firenze airport. The service was overpriced and because my flight was delayed I was charged double, even though I asked ahead of time what the policy was for flight delays and was told there would not be an extra charge and that the transfer service would monitor the flights. Taxis are readily available at the airport, so I would not recommend scheduling a transfer car. This is not a reflection on the hotel, but since it was arranged through the hotel, I feel that it should be mentioned.

Another wonderful stay at our favourite hotel. All the team were very welcoming and we felt right at home. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. Camilla looked after us very well in the bar and was so lovely to us. We will be back very soon.

This hotel is a little slice of heaven in a busy city. Lovely rooms, very comfortable beds, great breakfasts in the lovely garden and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Nice hotel and good location. Front desk was excellent. Rooms are very small and limited space with no counter top in the bathroom. Frustrating for woman to do their make-up or hair. Breakfast wasn't very good for a 4 star hotel. Courtyard a plus but with the muggy hot Florence weather, it was too hot to sit outside. Better hotel for the fall to spring season.

Can I just say this is one of the BEST hotels i have stayed in the entire world and i like to travel. - people are so nice and welcoming -they upgraded us from standard to suite because we booked from their website. - i forgot my ring in the room (my fault) it was still there after i went back. They were kind enough to check on it for me. - they let us take breakfast 30 mins earlier than it opens. -beautiful views Overall it was an AMAZING stay.

Nice boutique. Friendly, helpful service. Love the bed, shower, shampoo. Breakfast was good. Extra services; pool, exercise room, $28 euros to use. Very small pool and exercise room . Only disappointment..was so hot would like to have use it. But very close to main church and market, museums.

Such a beautiful place to stay! Felt like an oasis in the middle of Florence with a beautiful outdoor area and great pool, steam room and sauna. Staff were great and the dinner food was excellent (the cacio E Pepe was super tasty with the crispy bacon). Rooms were very spacious and modern. However it is the opposite way to walk from the centre, but it's only a short walk.

I had an absolutely great stay at Palazzo Castri. Seriously can not find anything to complain about. Staff was very friendly, room very clean, breakfast buffet had a wide variety of sweet and salty options, and if it's bad and cool weather (which it was for 2 days of my stay), the spa area is great. The backyard garden is beautiful, a little oasis in the city. I recommend this hotel to any of my friends who want to stay in Florence.

Beautiful room and bathroom. The only downside is the pool and gym are very small and you have to book time to use them. All the time slots were full so I didn't get to use these amenities. They also randomly tried to charge us for a water bottle that we didn't use but they removed the charge when we told them that we didn't use any of their water bottles. Very good breakfast is included with the stay. Location is within walking distance of all major attractions

We had such a great stay at this hotel! The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. Everyone was so kind! The breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Our room was perfect! Silent and clean. The pool is great for cooling off after a day of exploring the lovely city of Florence.

Great hotel. High class and chic, with a relaxed atmosphere. The Deluxe rooms are probably the best choice in the summer on account of having their own balcony. We'll stay here again if we're back in Florence.

A great dog friendly hotel in Florence. The location is ideal. Staff are accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean with a really comfortable bed. The outdoor area has a nice pool, and various tables / loungers to relax.

I loved staying here. The staff is so polite and nice. I got to enjoy great breakfast, sauna, spa, pool. Got a room with the view of the Santa Maria del Flora Cathedral dome. Everything is so clean. The garden is so peaceful. Location is amazing.

This hotel is gorgeous. It is in a great location, and the rooms are very nice. The breakfast is good. You cannot use the pool for free unless you have a specific room and have to pay for the pool area which is not normal for a four-star hotel. Although the hotel itself is pretty great, the customer service is horrible. The front desk staff is extremely rude. One of the main reasons someone stays at a hotel is for the full experience, and customer service is my number one concern. As it should be the property’s as well. For someone who is in the Hospitality industry, travels a lot, and has been to many hotels I have never encountered such disrespect from staff. I am extremely disappointed. Update: They did go above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied before we left. The attitudes from the front desk staff got much better, and I received a note from one of the managers which was very nice and appreciated.
